CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1506: Chapter 1514: I invite her

She placed her mobile phone on the tabletop as the waiter happened to bring the dishes into the private room.

Unexpectedly, following the waiter in was a forty-something man in a neatly tailored suit. The man walked in, glanced around the private room, and then his gaze landed on Jane Sampson, looking somewhat excited.

”Miss Sampson, hello, I’m the boss of this dining hall. I heard from my employees that you were dining here just now. After finding out, I got a little excited. My apologies for coming to see you without permission first. I’m a fan of yours.” The boss tugged at his clothes as if worried his attire wasn’t appropriate enough, and then, with a voice trembling with excitement, cautiously made his request, ”Miss Sampson, may I have a group photo with you? Of course, if you don’t agree, that’s absolutely fine. After all, this is your private affair, and my request is indeed a bit abrupt.”

The boss’s sudden behavior was indeed inappropriate, but upon hearing the polite way he put it, Jane Sampson agreed.

Jane Sampson had always been quite tolerant toward her fans.

With Jane Sampson’s permission, the boss was overjoyed. He stood by her side, keeping a respectful distance of about 10 centimeters, very gentlemanly, as his employee helped snap a group photo using his mobile phone.

After the photo was taken, he specifically asked Jane Sampson if he could post the picture on WhatsApp and Twitter. Upon receiving permission, he was so happy he looked like he was nearly dancing.

”Online, everyone says Miss Sampson is incredibly approachable, and you really are! Miss Sampson, our house, including my wife and my daughter, all adore you tremendously. Even my parents are huge fans of yours. To put it plainly, you really appeal to all generations. Oh, by the way, my daughter once saw you at a piano competition. Back then, she was a contestant, and you were the special guest.”

The boss grew increasingly excited, and it seemed like he would have continued talking about all the connections his family had with Jane Sampson.

It wasn’t until his nearby employee reminded him that he realized he had talked too much and was cutting into his idol’s time.

”Miss Sampson, I won’t disturb you further. This meal is on me.” The boss was utterly delighted. Having the chance to treat his idol to a meal was something he saw as a great honor that he could brag about.

”This meal is hosted by me today, there’s no need for you to pay,” Kane Forest suddenly spoke with a displeased expression. ”Now that the photo is taken, you should leave. You’ve already disrupted our meal time for quite a while.”

Kane Forest’s words left the boss momentarily stunned. ”Mr. Forest, why not give me this opportunity instead?”

”If you know who I am, then you should know that I, Kane Forest, don’t lack the money for one meal. I’m the one treating her to this meal. Why should I hand this opportunity over to you?” Kane Forest retorted directly, his expression utterly foul.

Standing next to Kane, Jasmine Seven was completely taken aback. She quietly tugged on Kane Forest’s sleeve and whispered, ”Brother, calm down, calm down. We all know you have money, but you could save it for next time to treat me and Jane to a meal. No need to rush for this one.”

After speaking, Jasmine Seven quickly turned to the boss, who was equally stunned, and tried to smooth things over by saying with a chuckle, ”Then we’ll give thanks to you, boss! And best wishes for your business to flourish!”
