CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1248: Chapter 1256: Not in a Hurry

James Black glanced at Jane Sampson, who didn’t seem to mind sticking closely to him, leaned down and kissed her on the lips, tasting the milk tea she had just sipped, and made a meaningful comment, ”Tastes good.”

Jane’s eyes, guilty as a thief, darted around to see if anyone had noticed them. Seeing no one had, she turned and glared at James. But James, having just kissed her, was already looking down, apparently oblivious to Jane’s glare as he focused on handling two mobile phones. James’s phone was newly reclaimed, even the phone number was changed to a new one.

He took Jane’s phone, saved his new number into it, still labelling it as ”husband”.

Thinking of his old number and fearing Jane might get confused with two identical contacts later, he decided it would be better to delete the old number from Jane’s phonebook.

However, only his newly saved contact came up when James searched for ”husband” in Jane’s phonebook.

James was stunned for a moment, then turned to look at Jane and asked, ”Did you delete my old mobile number?”

Jane shook her head without thinking, ”How could I?”

After speaking, she paused, her gaze slowly and guiltily landing on the red mobile phone that James was holding.

Jane was counting silently in her heart.

One...

Two...

Move!

Jane reached out to snatch it away then, but James seemed to read her mind in an instant. He stood up just as she lunged, and she missed, falling straight into his arms, her nose crashing against his ribs, and it hurt so much she almost cried.

”You jerk,” Jane raised her hand and punched James on the shoulder, both in pain and anger.

Despite the fall being hard and awkward,

Well...

The cup of milk tea she was holding in her other hand was still intact, not even a drop had spilled.

After punching James, Jane turned to look at the milk tea in her hand.

Hm, it’s fine~

Jane obviously breathed a sigh of relief at that moment.

James was amused by Jane’s behavior.

”Is this all you care about?” he touched her nose tip lightly, ”Did you hurt yourself?”

Jane glared at James still holding her phone high, huffing, ”Give me my phone.”

”No rush.” James stood up slowly and, seeing Jane about to pounce on him again and worried she would hurt herself in her impulsiveness, decided to press her entire body down on the sofa with his long legs so she couldn’t move.

The position was quite provocative, to say the least.

Jane realized their position and felt embarrassed, James was kneeling on the sofa, using the strength of his legs to pin down her arms.

While she was sitting and caught between his legs.

One kneeling, one sitting, their positions...

James’s crotch was right in front of Jane’s face.

Or rather, Jane’s nose was right against James’s pants.

This made Jane’s face turn intensely red with embarrassment.

”James, get off!” Jane twisted her waist and with difficulty tried to keep her nose away from his pants, clearly very uncomfortable.

James’s attention was on the phone and he was unaware of how inappropriate their current position might seem.
