Chapter 1092: Chapter 1100: Taking You to the Doorway

The person in his arms lifted their head and glanced at him, their eyes shimmering.

However, the words that came out of their mouth were somewhat insufferable.

”So annoying, you follow me all the way to King Town!” Jane Sampson said, then tried to push James Black, but realizing he hadn’t budged, she awkwardly leaned back against him.

James Black even felt a sense of how he had become accustomed to this.

He always had a way of making him want to scold her.

Letting go of Jane Sampson, James Black hurriedly washed his face, then kissed her on the lips and said, ”I’m off, you go back to bed and rest for a while.”

”I’ll walk you to the doorway.” Jane Sampson nodded but continued to cling to his hand without letting go.

Although she said she would walk him to the doorway, she only accompanied him to the elevator entrance. Watching James Black step into the elevator and after the elevator doors had closed, Jane Sampson stood there, sighed, and leisurely turned around to go back to the hotel.

In Film and TV Town here, the filming officially ended on Wednesday, and without any breaks, the cast and crew immediately took a flight straight to Cloud Province.

The shooting location set in Cloud Province was a relatively unpopular tourist attraction, and Director James Chip negotiated with the local government and relevant departments in a bold move, securing the entire scenic spot for themselves.

Moreover, while the film crew was shooting at the scenic spot, it was not open to the public.

And the money James Chip spent wasn’t considered much.

It was a win-win situation because with Director James Chip’s reputation and the presence of many popular stars in the crew, this drama, once broadcast, would naturally serve as an advertisement for the tourist attraction.

And it was an advertisement for which not a penny was charged.

The weather in Cloud Province was much colder than in Capital Province, leaving everyone shivering all the way off the airplane.

Before departing, James Black had someone send over a suitcase full of clothes for Jane Sampson. She accepted the box from Coco Edwards with a disgusted expression on her face.

Once on the airplane, James Black even made a special call to Coco, instructing her to take out a cotton-padded coat from the box and not to check in everything. At that time, Jane Sampson thought James Black was being overly nagging.

Now, seeing everyone around her shivering, Jane Sampson and Coco walked with a brisk pace, and Jane secretly praised James Black in her heart again.

The film crew chartered two coaches because the car trip to the filming location from the airport was nearly three hours, and with the location quite remote, they could only rely on cars to get there.

For Jane Sampson and Coco, who didn’t suffer from motion sickness, riding in a car was just a change of scenery where they could laze around.

As soon as they got on board, both of them reached for their mobile phones in unison.

Jane Sampson called James Black to report that she had landed, while Coco went on Twitter to scroll.

After Jane had finished her call, Coco was already giggling uncontrollably beside her.

Last night, ”I’m Not a Celebrity” broadcast the episode where Jane Sampson climbed a tree, so Coco’s rush to check Twitter was to see the netizens’ comments on Jane’s performance in that episode.

As expected, the hashtag #MonkeyKingofSampton climbed to the top of the hot search, securing the very first spot.

Seeing that Jane Sampson had ended her call, Coco pushed her shoulder and said, ”You better check Twitter, quick!”

Jane Sampson refused.

Since the program was broadcast last night, Jane Sampson hadn’t felt much like checking Twitter.

”Denial is pointless,” Coco laughed heartily. ”Back then you climbed that tree so nimbly; did you ever imagine the despair you’d feel now?”
