Chapter 1084: Chapter 1092: Hold a While Longer

”I don’t have it, I just don’t,” Jane Sampson stomped her foot, ”You, why are you so delusional!”

James Black didn’t continue to expose Jane any further. Seeing her still stubbornly insisting, he found it particularly amusing.

The little miss in his arms was soft and clingy, hugging him, her face rubbing against his chest, smearing the makeup from her face onto his clothes.

The makeup for acting, especially Jane’s makeup for this script, was generally quite heavy.

With her rubbing against him like that, one could see the white foundation she had wiped onto his clothes.

And lipstick too.

James Black gently patted Jane’s forehead, ”Go remove your makeup first?”

”No, let’s hug a bit longer,” Jane Sampson shook her head, stubbornly clinging to James Black, refusing to move.

James Black chuckled softly, ”Seems like you really want this, how about I hold you for five more minutes?”

As soon as he finished speaking, Jane Sampson, having her little scheme exposed, pushed him back and huffed, acting like a proud little rabbit, ”I don’t care! I’m going to take a bath.”

After saying that, she opened the wardrobe, grabbed her pajamas and bath towel, and headed for the bathroom.

Seeing James Black still standing there with interest, watching her, she turned and made a face at him, then giggled and went into the bathroom.

James Black stood there with a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth for a long while before he gently shook his head, laughing softly as he changed out of the clothes he had just put on.

When Jane Sampson came out of the bathroom, looking refreshed, James Black had already ordered dinner and was waiting for her. After eating, Jane played some games on her mobile phone and then lay down in the bed first. James Black, still holding his mobile phone, was apparently sending text messages to someone over there.

When he finished sending the messages and looked her way, Jane Sampson patted the empty space next to her, signaling for James Black to lie down next to her.

She asked, ”When are you going back to the guard team?”

After asking, and seeing James Black coming over, Jane Sampson immediately snuggled up to him, leaning on him like a lazy bone, her whole person smiling as radiantly as a blossoming flower.

”Sunday night,” James Black responded, then put his mobile phone aside and looked at Jane Sampson with a half-smile, ”Why? Thought I was leaving tomorrow and can’t bear it?”

Jane Sampson stiffened her face, snorted, and muttered, How could that be.

Although, when she heard James Black say he wouldn’t return to the guard team until Sunday night, Jane Sampson’s heart did feel genuinely a little happy.

But...

”I’m filming in the film and TV town during the day. Are you really going to wait in the hotel for me all day? Won’t you get bored by yourself?” Jane Sampson showed some concern for him.

”During the day, you go film, and I will meet with Rock Bell to arrange some studio work. If you don’t have night scenes, I’ll come back earlier; if you do, I’ll just come back a bit before then,” James Black explained, his main purpose for this trip was still for the studio.

Hearing about the studio, Jane Sampson grinned, holding back a taunting remark she had about James. After thinking it over, she decided not to say it.

Because she could predict that even if she did say it, James would surely have a comeback.

She couldn’t react as quickly as James.

Seeing the expression on Jane Sampson’s face, James Black knew she was holding back words.

But she didn’t say them, and James Black wasn’t going to ask.

Instead, once she was well settled, he instinctively reached out to hold her in his arms, lowered his head, and kissed her on the forehead.
