CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1054: Chapter 1062: Indulge Me Once

But just as Jane Sampson was about to speak, her mind turned, and she immediately froze in dumbfoundment.

”You don’t really think I’m that dumb, do you? I’m not going to take that bet with you. There’s no losing for me in this, but whichever way it goes, you win!” Jane, annoyed, raised her hand and scratched James Black’s arm. This guy was just pulling her leg!

Luckily, she reacted especially fast, otherwise, she’d have fallen straight into his gift-wrapping trap.

James let out a barely perceptible sigh. It was rather disappointing to see his young wife getting smart at the crucial moment.

However, lying there in self-restraint was truly unbearable.

James turned over and pulled Jane back into his arms, hugging her tightly.

Jane pushed him a couple of times, smiling slyly, ”You’re clearly in agony, and yet you insist on holding me. Doesn’t the more you hold me make it worse for you?”

That statement was in essence a rather cheeky taunt.

James looked at her and let out a ”hmph.”

” ’Hmphing’ me is useless. Who’s to blame? Blame yourself, right? Last time, who didn’t listen? I told you no need, but you just had to make a fuss.” For some reason, Jane found a strange satisfaction in seeing James at a disadvantage.

Last time, she had been bullied by him till she cried, yet this time, it was his turn to suffer.

James didn’t ”hmph” again but snorted instead, and without a second word, he leaned in and continued kissing her.

Though he couldn’t eat, a kiss was at least something to soothe not being able to have a bite.

That was James’ initial thought.

However, as time went by, he still inevitably wanted more.

Feeling Jane’s arousal, James gently bit her ear, one of her sensitive spots.

”I don’t care, today I’m the longevity star. Jane Sampson, you have to indulge me at least once, hm?”

Listening closely, there seemed to be a hint of James being coy in his words.

At this moment, however, Jane had absolutely no energy to savor the sentiment in that one sentence from James.

After James finished speaking, and only waited two seconds without any reply from Jane, he directly spoke again, ”If you don’t reply, I’ll take it as you’ve agreed.”

Saying that, James kissed her earlobe again, not giving Jane a chance to reply, and with young James Black already in position, he immediately charged into her defenses.

”Mmm...” Jane’s fingers tightly clutched James Black’s shoulders.

It wasn’t that she didn’t want to answer, but she had been kissed until she was so soft and weak that she could hardly speak.

...

It could truly be said that a short spring night was bitter.

Only after a long while did Jane Sampson learn that even a top student’s math could sometimes fail miserably.

His ’once’ stubbornly turned out to be once and again.

It wasn’t until it was the middle of the night that he felt content.

When Jane finally mustered the strength in her ”old waist” to get out of bed for a bath, James pushed her back down.

”Not tired?” James held her tightly in his arms.

”Tired~” In reality, Jane was so exhausted she didn’t feel like moving a single finger.

”If you’re tired, why are you fidgeting? Just lie down, close your eyes, and sleep,” James said.

”I want to take a bath, I’m sweaty and sticky, it’s uncomfortable.” Jane pushed on James’s chest, then thought for a moment and changed her words, ”You go run the water for me, then carry me to the bathroom.”

”I’m not going to spoil you,” James didn’t move an inch, with no intention to move.

Instead, he hugged her even tighter.

Jane gave James an annoyed glare, biting her teeth in anger and wanting to settle the score with him, but before she could open her mouth, he leaned in and kissed her into a daze.

This guy’s habit of frequently kissing people was getting worse by the day.

Terminal stage, no cure.

”Since you’re not sleepy, let’s talk instead,” James, freeing one hand, gently patted the back of her head, then asked in a soft voice, ”When shall we have a child?”
