CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 839: Chapter 847 God Is Blind

Bright Sampton had always known that Julie Sampton always blamed her unfortunate childhood on Jane Sampson.

When Julie first returned home, out of a desire to compensate, everyone in the family revolved around her, even Bright Sampton for a time had ignored Jane in an effort to please Julie.

At that time, Bright Sampton was still young, with only one thought in his mind, that his sister who had strayed outside had suffered many hard days, so, he had to be kinder and even more kind to this sister, to let her integrate into the family as soon as possible.

During that period, Bright Sampton himself also admitted that because of Julie, he had neglected his sister Jane for a long time.

It wasn’t until he was disappointed with Julie time and time again, and felt she was truly beyond hope, that Bright Sampton finally gave up the idea of spending time with this blood-related sister.

Later, looking back at Jane Sampson, Bright Sampton also knew that Jane had suffered a lot of grievances.

”You say you are not outstanding and blame it all on Jane Sampson, aren’t you being unreasonable? When you returned to this family, didn’t dad and mom send you to your sister’s school? Didn’t they find tutoring teachers for you? It was your own lack of effort that resulted in poor grades, yet you blame my sister for her excellent marks that put a lot of pressure on you, and you even complained to mother.”

Bright Sampton scoffed again and again, ”You say my sister is too dazzling, skilful in zither, chess, calligraphy, and painting, and a proficient pianist, but didn’t our parents find you notable teachers after you came back? You yourself are inherently slow and also lazy, unwilling to put in the effort, you can’t surpass my sister, and so you use that as an excuse to destroy my sister’s piano and tear up my sister’s transcript? Julie Sampton, touch your heart and see if it’s black.”

Even Bright Sampton, a second-generation rich, knew that a person can’t be born outstanding; to be excellent, one has to work hard, but what about Julie Sampton? While complaining about her hard childhood, possessing advantages others can’t match, she never once thought to make an effort.

”While sister was getting up early in the morning to study, what were you doing? Sleeping until the last minute before rushing to class, what were you doing when my sister was practicing the piano late into the night? Playing on your mobile phone, watching TV, using the computer, or else reading some non-academic comics. How many times did you touch the piano that mother bought for you? How many piano teachers did mother find for you, only for them to give up in utter disappointment with you as a student? Julie Sampton, you’re not outstanding, and the only one you can blame is yourself; beyond that, there is no one else to blame, do you understand?”

A person who only knows how to complain and never takes action to change will remain mediocre for a lifetime.

”Is it not to be expected that your work is not going smoothly?” Bright Sampton walked step by step toward Jane Sampson, ”Your work files, when have you not taken them out in a rush only when it’s time to perform on stage? Julie Sampton, if someone like you were to succeed, to become excellent, then it would truly mean that God is blind!”

Bright Sampton had not lacked compassion for Julie Sampton, nor had he been intolerant of this blood-related sister.

But over the many years, Bright Sampton’s patience with Julie Sampton had been exhausted, and he was thoroughly disappointed.

Even in Bright Sampton’s heart, he wondered why Julie had to return? If Julie hadn’t come back and disturbed the peace of this family, his sister Jane wouldn’t have had to struggle so much in this home.
