CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 838: Chapter 846 I Hit You

”And you, Julie Sampton!” Granny Sampton walked toward Julie Sampton and raised her hand, delivering a slap to Julie’s face, ”I hit you, not because of your despicable act of exposing Jane’s scars in such a public place on Twitter, and not because I am shielding Jane.”

Granny Sampton growled, ”I hit you for your malicious heart! You know exactly why you posted that tweet! Do I need to spell it out for you? I tweeted because I was jealous that Jane is living a better life than you, you can’t stand seeing her do well, let alone better than you, so you posted that tweet. You wanted to ruin her career, wreck her life!”

This is what truly aggrieves Granny Sampton the most, ”Julie Sampton, as a young lady, where did such viciousness come from? What deep grudge do Jane and you have to go to such lengths to destroy her? Ah! Tell me, what monstrous or hurtful thing has Jane done to deserve such treatment from you?”

Julie Sampton, covering her slapped face, looked at Granny Sampton in shock, her lips tightly pursed as tears fell one by one.

”Granny, I am your real granddaughter. Why do you and grandpa both favor her! If she hadn’t taken my place, if I had grown up by your side since childhood, then you should be doting on me, Julie Sampton!”

The searing pain on her face made Julie Sampton pose a fragmented question, ”I am the daughter of the Sampton Family, why should I, as a child, wear clothes that no one else wanted, be hungry, cold, either beaten or scolded every day, barely able to attend school, take care of my younger brother, do housework, and raise chickens, ducks, and pigs, while Jane Sampton, who took my place, could live a life like a princess in my home, by my own family’s side! So, why shouldn’t I hate her!”

Julie Sampton’s sobs grew louder, ”I just can’t stand to see her doing well. The better she does, the more it feels like she is mocking my incompetence. I just can’t stand to see her well. If she hadn’t stolen the childhood that should have been mine, then everything she has now would be mine! The neighbors’ praises, countless people’s admiration, and a wall full of certificates, all those childhood friends revolving around her—these all should have been mine, it was Jane Sampton, she stole everything that should have been mine!”

The hatred that had been suppressed in her heart for over ten years, at this moment, as Julie Sampton covered her face, she could no longer hold it back.

Her career now is on a downward trajectory, why should Jane Sampton be living such a flourishing life?

If it weren’t for Jane Sampton stealing the childhood that should have been hers, then now, it would be Julie Sampton who is talented in singing and dancing, who has connections with many top Movie Queens and Movie Kings!

All of it, what does it have to do with a bastard whose parents are unknown?

”Julie Sampton, I think you’ve gone mad!” At this moment, Bright Sampton looked at Julie Sampton as if he were looking at an unreasonable madwoman, ”Your rough childhood, what does that have to do with my sister? She was just born, and because of the adults’ mistake, is she not pitiable? Her parents are unknown, but she isn’t without parents who love her. If it wasn’t for being mistakenly brought to our home, she would have had parents who loved her too! What you lack, it’s not Jane’s fault; the fault lies with this house. Why do you attribute your failings to my sister’s fault?”
