CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 553: Chapter 561: Boiling a Frog in Warm Water

James Black placed Jane Sampson on the bed, directly on top of her, and didn’t seem in a hurry to do anything. Just like that, he was above, she was below, looking down at the person beneath him from a vantage point.

”You turtle egg,” Jane Sampson cursed, annoyed with herself for being too trusting of James Black, the old rascal!

She figured that since he hadn’t done anything to her last night, he probably wouldn’t do anything tonight either.

Even, because of the years before, she considered James a man of abstinence, and perhaps after one time, she could be safe for two or three months.

But! Starting from the moment James set the timer and reached out to adjust the induction cooker, Jane had a bad feeling!

”You weren’t like this before,” Jane complained with a bitter face.

Before, she hardly appeared before him, so naturally, no desires would arise without her presence.

”Knowing my shortcomings, naturally I must practice diligently,” James lifted his hand to pinch Jane’s puffed-up face, ”Is that wrong?”

”It’s wrong,” Jane shook her head and, under James’s gaze, squeezed out three words after much effort, ”You’re not short.”

Even James, a man usually reserved in emotion, couldn’t help but laugh at these three words from his wife.

For a man, this was definitely a proud compliment, especially since it was his wife who gave it.

”But!” Jane had a sudden shift, ”Research shows that five minutes is the ideal time for a man.”

”Five minutes?” James’s voice was amused, ”Whose research is that? Expert Jane’s?”

Jane pursed her lips and said nothing.

The amusement in James’s voice continued, ”Your research shows that impotent men are the best, right?”

Jane’s eyes circled once, and she hummed in agreement. That’s what she thought, but even then, she knew it was a bluff. Seeing that Jane had gone quiet, James didn’t tease her further. His face approached hers, inch by inch, and lightly touched her lips before moving away again, then glanced at her expression.

No significant reaction, just red ears.

This confirmed for James that his wife, indeed, was easily embarrassed.

When he laughed softly, his breath hit Jane’s face, causing her to blush deeply. She muttered softly, ”What’s this ’boiling a frog in warm water’ about?”

Finally stopping his teasing, James pressed down once more, sealing her lips.

This kiss came with a forceful and urgent momentum. As soon as he pressed down, his tongue eagerly pried open her shell teeth, searching for her small tongue to entwine passionately.

Before Jane could get lost in the daze, a single thought echoed in her brain.

This man’s kissing skills were indeed improving at a rapid pace~

In her ears, there was only the sound of their kissing. The clothes, absent without a trace, no longer hindered his hand from slowly moving up along her waist.

Not satisfied with just the sweetness of the lips, his mouth moved lower and lower...

The room was filled with intimacy, so much that even the moon hid behind the clouds. The room was so quiet, the sound of their intertwined breathing could be heard, along with the occasional moans they both let out.

...

When James had his fill, Jane was so exhausted that she didn’t want to move even a toe.

Abstinence?

This must have been Jane’s biggest misunderstanding of James in her previous life, or at least in the first half of it. This man was clearly a starving wolf. How could she have ever thought him to be abstinent?
