CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 541: Chapter 549: Sweet but Not Greasy

James Black walked over and sat down next to her, watched the TV show for a short while, found it uninteresting, and picked up the book lying next to him instead. Meanwhile, one of his hands came to rest on Jane Sampson’s waist, yet the person giggling away hadn’t noticed the added hand on her waist.

After the crosstalk show ended, Jane Sampson lost interest in the following program. Having watched for a short while, her attention began to drift, and she turned to look at James Black, realizing only then that his hand had been around her waist all this time.

”Aren’t you tired in that position?” Jane had just about shown signs of moving the hand from her waist when James Black caught her waist and pulled her all the way over until she sat right next to him before stopping.

Jane was also quick to escalate the situation, leaning entirely on James Black’s body, stretching her arms towards him with a chuckle, ”Chief Black, with such good handiwork, give me another massage?”

James Black glanced at Jane Sampson and placed the book he had been holding back, ”Go to the bedroom.”

At that moment, Jane Sampson was obedient, scampering ahead into the bedroom and sprawling out to wait for James Black to come in.

James Black massaged her for more than an hour, leaving Jane Sampson feeling so comfortable she was practically addicted.

After James Black turned off the living room light and the TV, Jane Sampson was already lying down. He went over, sat on the bed’s edge, and looked down at Jane Sampson with her long hair spread behind her like silky satin. Leaning down, he followed the desire in his heart and kissed her.

Pink lips, with the taste of peanut soup, James Black thought that the best tasting peanut soup he had ever had in his life must be the one from Jane Sampson’s mouth.

Sweet but not cloying, addictively irresistible.

The kiss James Black gave was very gentle, soft, and carried no dominance.

But, also, it was merely a kiss.

A few minutes later, James Black ended the marvelous kiss, his eyes brimming with intense affection. He forced himself to refocus his attention back on Jane’s hands and resumed massaging them.

From the beginning to the end of the kiss, Jane Sampson was uncharacteristically well-behaved.

She neither pushed him away nor fussed with him; even now, she lay there quietly blinking at him.

”Talk,” James Black said, knowing from her expression that she had a trainload of words she wanted but hadn’t said.

Jane Sampson playfully blinked her eyes, having thought just moments before that after enjoying such advanced massage and a late-night snack, she was about to be ”eaten.” Unexpectedly, James Black let her be.

A man as ravenous as a wolf, letting go of the meat at his lips, truly surprising.

”James Black, you’re really nice,” was the loveliest thing Jane Sampson plucked from the trainload of thoughts she wanted to share.

At least that’s what she believed.

However, James Black himself seemed not to think so.

For James Black glanced at her, huffed at her, and then said nothing further.

Jane Sampson pouted, laughed to herself, and tugged at the fabric of James Black’s pants on his thigh, waiting for him to look at her again before she tactfully calmed down.

After a day of training, both mind and body exhausted, Jane had previously been clinging to some alertness due to discomfort. But now, having eaten her fill and received a massage, she found herself drifting off to sleep without realizing it, and then deeply sleeping away.

James Black realized Jane Sampson might have fallen asleep when she suddenly went quiet for a long time, not speaking or bothering him. He placed her arms back at her sides, raised his eyes to look at her, and indeed, she was already sound asleep.
