CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 522: Chapter 530: Sending You to the Past

Even though Jane Sampson stubbornly refused to answer whenever James Black asked her, she had to admit in her heart.

In terms of learning ability, James Black was truly outstanding.

His progress...

Every time, it left her feeling both ecstatic and exhausted.

After their intimate encounter, Jane was so lazy she didn’t even want to move. Despite the heat, James still held her in his arms, but Jane didn’t even have the energy to push away the human furnace beside her.

Apparently, if he wasn’t going to wear her out, he was planning to cook her with his body heat.

Holding the overly obedient woman in his arms, James looked down at her, the fine hair on her forehead sticking together with sweat. He lifted her hair to tuck it behind her ear. After he did this, his fingertips slid down her face and stopped at her waist, then suddenly tightened his arms.

Startled by his movement, Jane quickly pulled back, ”No more~”

She intended to yell at James with authority, but when she opened her mouth, her voice came out so soft and weak, it sounded more like coquettish whimpering, even more bewitching than actual coquetry—a charm that seemed to seep out from her very bones.

James’s eyes narrowed slightly, his Adam’s apple bobbed, and after a while, he just hummed in acknowledgment.

”I’ll go get you a cup of water,” James thought for a moment, realizing that if he continued to hold her like this, he might get enticed by her once again.

When James returned from the kitchen with water, the person who had been lying in bed was now sitting up, clothed again, but her cheeks were still red.

”You going back?” James offered the water to her.

Jane took the cup from James’s hand and drank deeply before finally stopping. She wiped the water from the corner of her mouth with the back of her hand and nodded her head, ”It’s late.”

If they were in the city district, at this time, the nightlife would just be getting lively. However, this was within the guard team’s quarters.

”Wait for me,” James said, ”Let me change clothes, and I’ll walk you over.”

As he spoke, James put the empty cup back in the kitchen, then returned, closed the door, and started to change clothes.

Jane was suddenly forced to witness James flaunt his abdominal muscles and felt her nose grow warm, then stealthily, ever so stealthily, she turned away.

There was the red mark she had accidentally left just now.

”Let’s go.” James called out to Jane, who was facing away from him, muttering something under her breath.

Jane gave a sound of acknowledgment, then finally turned around and slowly moved off the bed.

As Jane stepped onto the floor and put on her slippers, James approached her, took her hand as she finished, and led her out of the bedroom. He only let go when she reached the doorway to tie her shoelaces, but as soon as she was ready, he took her hand again.

Then, just like that, he led her downstairs and toward the direction of Jane’s dormitory.

The dormitory Jane and her group were staying in had been specially cleared out for them. Some of the team members were out on field training for the week, so their dormitory had been freed up, while others had been temporarily moved to another dormitory building.

Thus, the dormitory building now housed only the filming crew’s personnel and eight artists participating in the program recording.

The night breeze at the guard team’s quarters was still very cool, the air fresh, being away from the city district.

For the nth time, Jane glanced at her hand being held by James and finally couldn’t help but let out a sigh.

”James, can we walk a bit slower?” Jane pulled on James’s hand helplessly and simply stopped walking.
