CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 503: Chapter 511: No Exceptions

”Hmm, we’re going to share weal and woe together for the upcoming week,” Hugo Edwards chuckled.

Helen Watson walked over, then said to Jane Sampson with a smile, ”The final number of participants for this recording is eight, four men and four women. Big Brother Hugo Edwards, Alexander SkyShaw, Benjamin Worthington, and Charlie Peterson, these four have already arrived. The female artists are Mair Williams, Hibiscus Wood, you, and Charlotte Miller, who still hasn’t shown up yet.”

Among these people, Jane only really knew Hugo Edwards and Alexander SkyShaw. Benjamin Worthington was a retired athlete turned actor and host, while Charlie Peterson was the youngest of the brothers, having debuted early—Jane remembered correctly, Charlie should still be in university. Among the female artists, Mair Williams was a popular singer, and like Jane, Hibiscus Wood was also an actor, but Hibiscus Wood’s popularity had soared, being one of the ”Four Young Actresses” as called by netizens. And the still-absent Charlotte Miller was a somewhat famous host in the industry.

Jane greeted everyone, then looked directly at the nearest building; at a glance, she saw a row of dark heads squished together, peering over this way.

Jane smiled, not knowing if Peter Gingery was among them.

If he knew she was coming here and still hadn’t said anything, that would be withholding information.

After she got back, she would definitely need to penalize him severely!

About ten minutes after Jane arrived, Charlotte Miller also appeared, and with her arrival, the group was complete.

”Gather around!” Lieutenant Johnson finally stepped out from the crowd. Blowing his whistle, he commanded, ”Eight people, stand side by side, at attention!”

Although Lieutenant Johnson looked serious and straight-faced when he spoke, from the moment Jane arrived, he sneakily observed her from the background.

Hmm, as the Chief’s wife, he had to carefully assess what kind of person this girl was.

Peter Gingery had insisted that Jane’s coming to the guard team had to be kept strictly confidential, which meant the Chief definitely had no idea, and so it was very unlikely that he would relay any messages to her.

Seeing that among the four girls, Jane was the only one wearing sports shoes and dressed in a short sleeve and long pants, the camp commander internally commended her, thinking it befitting of the Chief’s wife—she had high awareness and even knew that coming to the guard team meant she couldn’t dress flashily.

Seeing Jane’s bare face, Lieutenant Johnson was even more pleased. The Chief’s wife, his sister-in-law, seemed like a particularly affable person at first glance. With this, he could train them freely today.

The Chief’s wife would probably not tattle on him.

”Now, open your suitcases. Apart from your change of clothes and necessities, the rest is not allowed in the guard team! Let me start by telling you the first rule,” the camp commander’s gaze swept over the three women other than Jane, and then he said, ”During your time in the guard team, wearing high heels, dresses, and makeup is prohibited. During training, as soon as you step out of your dormitory, you must wear the training uniform issued by the organization, no exceptions!”

”It’s that strict?” Charlotte Miller, who arrived last, was flabbergasted. As she opened her suitcase, it was filled with dresses, and though she had a couple of jeans, she had sandals and flat shoes but no sport or casual shoes.

Lieutenant Johnson glanced at Charlotte Miller’s suitcase, then said, ”Those without shoes, report to the monitor later to request an issue. The guard team will provide you with shoes.”

Charlotte Miller sighed with relief and muttered, ”As long as I’m not barefoot, it’s all negotiable.”
