I Can Gain One Skill Point Per Second

Chapter 105: Chapter 105: Skill Specialization! The Path to Power for Professionals!

Lan Ruoxi’s response.

Left the head of the operations department speechless.

This is just a freshman.

Not yet an elite in your academy.

And you’re already so protective of him?

But he understood, if he wanted to handle this matter, relying on Lan Ruoxi, the dean of Nuwa Academy, wouldn’t work.

He had to go back and find their top leader to revise and improve the related credit acquisition rules.

Finally, half an hour later.

The entire Dungeon Sanctuary announced another notice!

[Shenxiao Dungeon Sanctuary Area Notice!]

[We have received feedback from some students that someone is exploiting the rule of constantly refreshing dungeon records to gain a large amount of credits.]

[The mechanism for credit reward rules is now revised as follows: The limit for obtaining credits for clearing the same dungeon and refreshing the dungeon record created by the same person is changed to 10 times.]

[This rule is effective immediately.]

Upon hearing this rule.

Lin Yi sighed.

He knew punishment was inevitable sooner or later.

Because this method of obtaining credits was far more efficient than any other.

Being reported by other Shenxiao students was only normal.

Fortunately, during this time, Lin Yi had already used up his 10 entries as well as the 10 opportunities that Chu Qiu had gifted him.

A total of 20 record refreshes in the dungeon.

Earned him a whopping 5000 credits!

And Lin Yi became completely famous.

Now if you go onto Shenxiao’s forum discussion boards.

Almost everyone is gossiping about Lin Yi.

First, Lin Yi broke records, defeating a second-year upon entering the school, ranking a C level.

Then, Lin Yi’s bet with Chu Qiu and his brilliant feat of exploiting a loophole to grab 5000 credits.

Even the top brass of Shenxiao Academy, Mr. Yang, who personally recruited Lin Yi, after learning about this incident.

Couldn’t help but laugh.

This kid, just on his first day, caused such a big uproar.

In the future, Shenxiao won’t have any peace!

...

Inside the Dungeon Sanctuary.

Nangong Ling was browsing her phone, surfing Shenxiao’s forum threads full of posts about Lin Yi.

She couldn’t stop smiling: ”Junior, you really became famous today!”

Lin Yi sighed: ”Can fame convert to credits?”

Nangong Ling was dumbstruck.

Then she said: ”I remember my first day of school, after a dungeon run, I earned only a bit over two hundred credits, but you directly earned over five thousand, be content!”

”And although credits can be exchanged for many good things, they’re not everything.”

”You’ll need to plan how to allocate your daily dungeon runs moving forward.”

”The first month at Shenxiao is a rapid growth period for most, because there are so many dungeons in the Dungeon Sanctuary that can make you stronger.”

Upon hearing this, Lin Yi’s eyes lit up.

He glanced around the first floor of the Dungeon Sanctuary.

Discovering that there were over 20 dungeons just on the first floor alone.

And dungeons like the Sky Temple that primarily offered experience rewards weren’t even the most sought-after or popular ones.

”Miss Nangong, what other dungeons are there here?”

Nangong Ling: ”Let’s go, I’ll take you back to our Nuwa Academy dorms first, since you’ve used up all your dungeon entries for today.”

”On the way, I’ll explain the dungeon types to you, so you can decide how to allocate your daily dungeon entries.”

Nangong Ling led Lin Yi out of the Dungeon Sanctuary.

By now, it was already evening.

The sunset was awe-inspiring from high up.

”Do you know the four aspects that affect a professional’s strength?” Nangong Ling first posed a question.

Lin Yi: ”Level, skill tier, equipment, talent.”

Nangong Ling nodded: ”That’s right, those are the four.”

”But it’s not comprehensive enough.”

”Now that you’ve graduated high school and entered Shenxiao, you’ve essentially stepped into the real world of professionals.”

”A professional’s combat strength is actually very complex.”

”These four aspects can be further subdivided.”

”And besides the four main aspects, there are four minor ones: battle pets, martial souls, titles, and one-time enhancements.”

”You’ll learn about all these in Shenxiao’s theoretical courses, so I won’t elaborate further.”

”Let me tell you about the types of dungeons you might need to run, related to skills.”

”Skills greatly enhance a professional, sometimes a professional with high-tier skills can challenge those above their level.”

Upon this, Nangong Ling glanced at Lin Yi: ”I believe you understand this more than I do.”

Lin Yi rubbed his nose.

Isn’t she just talking about him?

He relied on high-tier skills to reach his current level.

”But have you noticed, some skills retain significant limitations even at high tiers, and aren’t always easy to use.”

”Either due to high consumption or lengthy cooldowns.”

”Or certain mechanics are incomplete or unreasonable.”

Nangong Ling’s words hit home for Lin Yi.

He had already noticed.

For instance, the Tier Six Thunder skill, Lightning Flash.

The mobility skill was good in all aspects.

The only issue being its short displacement distance.

And, its cooldown was too long.

”So, aside from leveling skills, there are two other ways to enhance them, one known as Evolution.”

”But this method I’ve only seen in ancient texts, currently on Blue Star, our research on skill evolution is limited, perhaps real experts have unlocked this path, but I still haven’t grasped the method for skill evolution.”

Lin Yi felt a stir inside.

Skill evolution...

He thought of his skill mutation version.

And the Ark Reactor Core Module in the Noah Ruins.

These could all be facets of skill evolution.

He seemed to have mastered two pathways of skill enhancement.

But the last path, what is it?

”The second way of enhancement is called Skill Specialization.”

”Every professional’s skill, from Tier One to Tier Nine, has nine specialization opportunities for each tier.”

”After skill specialization, not only does the skill’s damage increase, but its consumption and cooldown decrease.”

”Some mechanisms also become more refined, with potential new mechanics appearing.”

”For example, a skill might change from single-target to splash damage upon reaching specialization level 6, or remove an annoying prerequisite at level 9.”

”Such cases are numerous.”

”Junior, I know your skill tiers are high, but you probably haven’t specialized any skills yet, right?”

”It’s not your fault; most professionals only unlock skill specialization opportunities after entering a higher learning institution.”

”Our Dungeon Sanctuary has two types of dungeons to improve skills.”

”One type drops lots of skill points.”

”The other drops lots of specialization points.”

”You’ll need to allocate some entries to acquire specialization points and unlock your skill specializations in the future.”
