I Can Gain One Skill Point Per Second

Chapter 102: Chapter 102: One-Wave Sweep! What an Unbelievable Record!

The crowd outside the arena lingered for a long time.

There was a lot of discussion.

Someone even took out a phone to post about the recent event on the Shenxiao forum gossip section.

They came up with an incredibly sensational title.

Instantly attracting countless netizens surfing the web.

Causing this incident to continue fermenting.

...

[You have entered the dungeon: Sky Temple!]

[Due to your C-level rating, the dungeon has an additional aura effect: Experience points for killing monsters +15%, skill points obtained upon dungeon completion +15%, item drop rate +15%!]

[Influenced by the ancient sky god Kernge, all monsters in this dungeon have an indispellable status effect: Kernge’s blessing, reducing all magic damage received by 75%!]

Immediately upon entering the dungeon, Lin Yi’s mind was filled with prompts.

The advantage of a high rating was evident here.

He instantly received a 15% boost in experience, skill points, and drop rate.

The entire Sky Temple dungeon is divided into three main maps.

The first map that appears after entering is the dark underground palace beneath the temple.

The inner walls of the underground palace are carved with countless deity worship murals. The entire space is extremely dark, and without the torches burning on the walls, it would be impossible to see any details.

A long dark stairway leading upwards appeared before Lin Yi, marking the first main map of the dungeon.

Audience’s Stairs!

According to the strategy downloaded from the forum earlier.

The first stage’s map is actually the largest, and most speedrun teams choose to use the one-wave monster-pulling method here at Audience’s Stairs to reach the top.

Then at the top of the stairs in the boss chamber at the Gatekeeper’s location, they deal with the small monsters.

Only then do they begin to kill the boss.

Lin Yi wasted no time.

Upon entering the dungeon, he immediately applied Tier Five Wind Attribute Gale Wings to himself.

Then he began flying up the stairway in the underground palace at incredible speed.

”Gah—!”

”Intruders!!”

”Kill him!!”

The monsters roaming the stairs were startled by Lin Yi.

Baring teeth and claws, they screeched horridly, charging at Lin Yi.

The brilliance of various magic lit up, with Fireballs, Wind Blades, bolts of electricity, Frost Arrows, and Shadow Arrows all kinds of magic projectiles flying towards him.

For teams planning to use one-wave strategy.

The most threatening monsters are those magicians who can cast Frost Arrow and Shadow Arrow.

One slows down the tank pulling the monsters, and the defense reduction and magic resistance reduction effects from the other’s Shadow Arrow also increase the pressure on the tank and healer significantly.

So many teams choose to bring an Assassin or Archer profession.

These two professions have extremely strong assassination capabilities.

By targeting and killing these two types of magician monsters in the mob pile, it’s solved.

As for Lin Yi.

Aside from the damage from Shadow Arrows, which he had to endure, other types of magic attacks landing on him would even provide him with shields...

However, by absorbing shields from other types of magic damage, he could then convert them into an All-Purpose Shield, absorbing shadow damage.

Effectively rendering him invincible.

The gale howled, wings extended.

Lin Yi’s one-wave strategy was executed more successfully and swiftly than any professional team.

After just over ten breaths.

Lin Yi had already flown to the top of the stairs.

A stone door carved with a giant octopus monster appeared before him. In front of it stood a boss made entirely of Enchanting Stone, an animated golem.

This was the first boss, Gatekeeper Eric.

As soon as you entered its alert range, it would awaken from its dormant state and launch an attack.

”Warning! Warning!!”

”Intruder detected!”

”Activating... Elimination mode!!”

Lin Yi glanced at the time on his wrist.

From entering the dungeon until now, 47 seconds had passed.

Lin Yi led more than a hundred small monsters into the Gatekeeper’s alert range.

Upon activating the Gatekeeper, Lin Yi’s fingertips sparkled with lightning.

Thunder Element Tier Seven - [Ten Directions Thunder Prison]!

Boom!!!

Above the temple door, countless blazing white thunderbolts appeared out of thin air, and then descended like rain in terrifying strikes!

-83321!

-83321!

Countless terrifying damage numbers appeared, instantly killing the hundreds of small monsters that had just been following Lin Yi!

Real damage, bypassing all damage reduction, all resistance!

The effect was outstanding!!

The Gatekeeper Eric in the center of the small monsters, moreover, was trembling and convulsing under the incessant strikes of the Ten Directions Thunder Prison!

This skill came with control!

Even a boss could not move in the face of such high-tier magic!

Before long, the giant golem at the gate had turned into a pile of scrap iron.

The stone door opened loudly.

Lin Yi flew inside.

Entering the second map, the temple interior!

The number of small monsters in this area was almost equal to that on the stairs, with rooms inside the temple being extremely complex, with only one route leading to the final boss, the female Priestess.

During the initial exploration phase, the difficulty lay in finding the correct route among the countless rooms.

Otherwise, a significant amount of time would be spent on handling the room mechanisms and traps in the second map.

Fortunately, Lin Yi held a strategy that clearly instructed how to quickly pass through the temple maze to find the right route.

However, even though Lin Yi had read the strategy, he still got lost several times in the temple maze.

Wasting quite a bit of extra time.

Reaching the end of the maze brought up a cutscene.

A massive tentacle suddenly drilled out from beneath the ground, smashing the temple maze completely!

Leaving only a dozen temple platforms for the dungeon challengers to stand on.

This was the second boss: Kernge’s Tentacle (Replica) Debuts!

A pure test of output capability boss.

If enough output wasn’t inflicted in a short time to interrupt Kernge’s tentacle’s charging skill, the temple platforms on which all challengers stand would be entirely smashed.

Falling off the temple would declare dungeon failure.

This enormous tentacle was disgusting yet impressive.

Unfortunately, for Lin Yi, it was all a mere instant kill, hardly causing any ripple.

After defeating Kernge’s replica tentacle.

A teleportation array appeared on the entire temple platform.

This provided a route for those who lacked flight abilities to reach the temple peak, the Sky Sacrificial Tower.

As for Lin Yi.

He flew directly upwards.

In a short while, he entered the grand hall of the Sky Sacrificial Tower.

There weren’t any small monsters here.

Only one final boss.

The female Priestess Hera.

”Give up! Intruder!”

”Our Lord is protecting me! You’ll never defeat Her most faithful serv—”

Lin Yi didn’t have time to listen to this boss’s nonsense.

He immediately executed two Ten Directions Thunder Prison.

Making her unable to even finish her opening speech before being instantly killed!

...

Dungeon Sanctuary.

Another announcement resounded throughout the place!

[Shenxiao Dungeon Sanctuary area announcement!]

[Congratulations to the challenger: Lin Yi for completing Floor 1 of the dungeon: Sky Temple! Completion time: 2:54:26!]

[Setting a new record for the fastest solo completion of this dungeon, awarding 250 academic points as a reward, please keep up the good work everyone!]

Everyone was stunned!

No way, dude!

Breaking the record is directly slashing the previous best record by half???
