Martial Arts: I Have Diligence Reward System

Chapter 85: Chapter 79: Private Conversation

Su Yue is the class monitor and has one day off.

The others have to undergo a year of isolated training and cannot go home.

Although it’s a day, most of it would be spent on the road, so Su Yue has about two hours of free time.

Returning to the Cosmic Mansion, there’s no one home.

It’s September, and Su Jianjun is at school, while Uncle should be at work.

He also contacted Xu Baiyan, but the other party’s phone was out of signal range.

Su Yue sighed, and without going home, he took a trip to Cengyan Second Middle School.

Su Yue didn’t enter the campus.

It happened to be break time, and Su Yue could see the figures moving back and forth in the campus from afar.

He saw his classmates from Class 3.

It felt like a lifetime had passed.

Though only two months had gone by, Su Yue and they were already entering a tougher world, each undergoing a transformation.

However, the former classmates seemed unchanged, still filled with laughter and joy.

”Who is really living better?”

Gazing at the carefree school, Su Yue let out a bitter laugh.

A Martial Artist can become strong, earn wealth easily, but the hardships they endure are unimaginable to ordinary people.

Yet ordinary people, though at the bottom rung, are genuinely happy.

Carefree and unworried, how wonderful it is.

”Hey, isn’t that the principal? What’s he doing now...working at the library?”

Suddenly, Su Yue saw the principal.

Over these months, the principal seemed not to have been comfortable, his waistline had slimmed a lot.

But after all, he is a Third-Grade Martial Artist, seen through Su Yue’s eyes now, the principal indeed seemed strong.

”Never mind, this break doesn’t have much meaning anyway, better to go back and train.”

Su Yue got on the return trip’s vehicle.

...

During this week, Dai Yuegui wasn’t idle either.

He had one-on-one conversations with each student, offering guidance.

It had yet to be Su Yue’s turn.

Zhou Yuncan and Liao Ji had already concluded their individual guidance.

Seizing the free time, Zhou Yuncan secretly invited Liao Ji to his villa, planning to learn Gang Qi Blade ahead of time.

It was too cool.

As for Dai Yuegui’s ban, Zhou Yuncan chose selective amnesia.

Sun Zhiwei was on lookout downstairs.

On the second floor of the villa, Zhou Yuncan was serving tea.

This was Liao Ji’s tutoring rule.

”Although the Gang Qi Blade is profound and obscure, as long as your understanding is high enough, it isn’t too difficult.

”Take me, for example, my understanding is the best in the world, so it just took me three short months to master it.”

Liao Ji appeared as a mysterious and profound expert senior.

”What about Su Yue then?”

Zhou Yuncan asked.

”If you don’t learn, then get lost.”

Liao Ji gritted his teeth in frustration.

Why highlight my weaknesses on purpose, trying to humiliate me?

With that kind of emotional intelligence, you’d end up raising dogs for life.

”I analyze that Su Yue must have been lucky, learning Gang Qi by sheer chance.

”But whether it’s Qi Blood, fighting techniques, or even the position of class monitor, they all rely on postnatal opportunities. If you work a bit harder, you can completely catch up to him. However, if it’s about looks, since birth, Su Yue has already lost half the battle.

”Comparing looks, in this lifetime he can’t beat you, it’s a dead end... unsolvable.”

Zhou Yuncan pondered for a while and finally made an amendment.

”You’re right, when it comes to being better looking, I’ve never lost to anyone in my life, Liao Jiping.”

Liao Jiping showed a wicked smile.

Indeed, the truth was pleasing to hear.

”Let me explain Gang Qi to you in detail.”

Then, Liao Jiping began his explanation tirelessly, while Zhou Yuncan wiped the sweat from his forehead and sighed in relief.

Telling lies against one’s conscience really is a bit of a shame.

But for the Gang Qi Blade, enduring humiliation is inevitable.

Everyone knows it, the most handsome in the potential class, is me, Zhou Yuncan.

But a mere false reputation, it’s worthless.

An hour later.

”I’ve explained all the principles, and the precautions are already marked.

”If things go smoothly, you should be able to barely wield it in six months.”

Liao Ji put the notes down and left.

Zhou Yuncan looked seriously at the notebook, beside him was a steel knife without a sharpened edge.

”Actually, the Gang Qi Blade isn’t difficult, perhaps I, Zhou Yuncan, am extraordinarily gifted and will succeed on the first try.”

Zhou Yuncan solemnly picked up the knife.

He always felt that he wasn’t an ordinary person.

Whoosh!

Failure.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Failure!

Failure!

Failure!

”Hey, something’s wrong, I clearly understood the essence, why can’t I put it into practice? Which part went wrong?”

Exhausted of Qi Blood, Zhou Yuncan put down the steel knife and began to reflect.

Eye: I understand now.

Brain: I remember now.

Hand: You guys got it, you go ahead.

After a round of intellectual struggle, Zhou Yuncan finally realized that the problem was with his hand.

...

When Su Yue returned, it was already late at night, everyone was asleep.

The September weather was quite irritating.

Sleeping with a blanket at night was a bit hot.

Sleeping without a blanket was a bit cold.

Covering halfway felt a bit awkward.

Originally, Su Yue wanted to get some sleep, but never mind, he exchanged for a sleep exemption and continued practicing the elemental knife technique.

At dawn, he found Dai Yuegui.

”Su Yue, I’m sorry, I have too many things to take care of. Actually, with your Qi Blood, I should focus on you.”

Upon meeting, Dai Yuegui actually apologized directly.

”Please, coach, you’re making me think there’s a conspiracy.”

Su Yue looked incredulous.

”I don’t know how to explain this situation.

If according to the education bureau’s plan, you reach 30 cards before the college entrance exam, I would benefit the most, I should be the one responsible for you.

But you must understand, the entire potential class has a total of 59 students, most of whom have only improved by 1 card Qi Blood in two months, some gaining practically nothing.

The lowest B-level Martial exam requires a minimum of 15 cards Qi Blood to pass.

Without detailed guidance, at least 20 more people will fail.

So I spend most of my time helping these students improve, ultimately neglecting the most important, you.”

Dai Yuegui furrowed his brow.

He actually held a personal opinion, Su Yue was too outstanding, and didn’t really need oversight.

To prevent him from getting arrogant, he simply didn’t mention it.

”It’s okay, I understand.

Besides, my training progress is going well.”

Su Yue nodded.

He perhaps could understand some of the conflicts in Dai Yuegui’s heart.

For the education bureau, the college entrance exam is a battle.

People like himself, Liao Ping, and Liao Ji are undoubtedly the generals.

While more people like various others are completely unnoticed.

The education bureaus in various cities are also specifically cultivating generals, and others are easily ignored.

Dai Yuegui is not stupid.

Cultivating someone like himself, he would gain reputation and money.

Guiding a group of average people to pass B-level Martial isn’t meaningless, but ultimately, it’s not very rewarding.

Yet in the past two months, he still tried his best to cultivate everyone.

It can only be said that this person has the heart of a true teacher.

”This time, I want to ask your opinion.

There are still 10 months left in the future, you have two choices.

First, free training, I can give you all the resources from the education bureau, but you are free from now on, you can do whatever you want.

Second, I specifically train you, abandoning the other less talented students.

Frankly, under my training, you would definitely be able to cleanse into a Gold bone image.”

Dai Yuegui said solemnly.

This is Su Yue’s right, even if he doesn’t need it.

”If you train me, what about the other students?”

Su Yue asked.

”Abandon them, let them fend for themselves.

Your training frequency is unlike anyone else’s, they can’t keep up with your pace.”

Dai Yuegui replied.

”What would be the fate of the 20-some students who fail?

Will they also go to fight in arena matches?

Will they directly become cannon fodder in the wet zones?”

Su Yue asked again.

”Martial Artists who can go to the arena are the lucky ones.

Actually, most students who fail will face a period of disappointment, then attend training classes, trying to break through to the first-grade. Then enlist in the army and serve on the battlefield, because they’ve never been through systematic learning, they have the highest death rate.

Few are willing to remain ordinary people.”

Dai Yuegui said.

”Coach, take good care of them, I’ll find my own path.

Don’t worry, I will definitely succeed in bone cleansing!”

Su Yue nodded.

He chose to decline Dai Yuegui’s special training.

First, he had noticed these students over the past few days, some really were working hard but just lacked methods, Dai Yuegui could change their lives.

Second, Su Yue had a system, and sometimes it was inconvenient to be watched too closely by others.

For instance, the sleep exemption, it’s impossible for a person to never sleep, Dai Yuegui would definitely suspect.

Moreover, Su Yue didn’t want to become just a Qi Blood exam machine.

Dai Yuegui’s training direction would certainly be pure Qi Blood.

This period of arena combat, Su Yue had come to love the thrill of punch-for-punch battles.

”I thank you on their behalf, if there’s anything you don’t understand, you can contact Sun Zhiwei to reach me.

It’s a pity, Sun Zhiwei was a former fighter, doesn’t really know how to educate others.”

Dai Yuegui patted Su Yue’s shoulder.

”Mm.”

Su Yue nodded.
