Martial Arts: I Have Diligence Reward System

Chapter 70: Chapter 64: Rapid Progress, Facing Off Against B8

Unknowingly, Su Yue has been training for more than ten days.

With the significant enhancement of combat instincts, he can now dodge half of the punches.

This is entirely a subconscious behavior, not something you have to consciously think about.

In a real fight, it’s a race against time, and you don’t have the time to think.

Only by cultivating instincts can you react swiftly.

During this period, Su Yue has also become familiar with Old Zhao and the others, and in their spare time, they even joke around occasionally.

Su Yue has already become a legendary figure in the world of sparring bags.

In less than half a month, he’s dared to train with B7-level fighters and can last a long time; he’s now a golden sparring bag.

Su Yue’s price has also risen accordingly.

After all, when fighters train, they want to flow smoothly and enjoy the experience. If the sparring partner is too weak, just as you adapt to the punch speed, the sparring bag’s alarm goes off, which is quite the letdown.

So Su Yue’s value has greatly increased.

Old Zhao donned his protective gear and continued to spar with Flower Bear.

After losing a fight the other day, Flower Bear was in a bad mood. When he appeared in the training hall, the whole atmosphere froze up.

Su Yue was training with a B7 fighter.

Old Zhao and the others also started.

Flower Bear might have been brooding over his defeat, as his punches were especially fierce today.

Even though Old Zhao was an experienced sparring partner, he was still beaten to a pale face.

You must know, sparring partners like Old Zhao are rare. His skin is tough, supposedly not very sensitive to pain, and he would sometimes dodge a punch. Otherwise, he wouldn’t spar with a B8 level fighter.

But today, Old Zhao was struggling.

Su Yue was fully focused on countering the fighter before him, his mind entirely on the opponent’s toe and waist movements.

From these two areas, he could predict the opponent’s attack direction in advance.

Su Yue never imagined that within the same level, the combat power could be so significantly different.

A B7 fighter is simply not on the same level as a B5 fighter.

The more he delved into the understanding of combat, the more Su Yue realized that Qi and Blood Martial Artists were really just useless, totally vulnerable to being crushed.

Real slaughter also requires training, ah.

Beep beep beep!

At this time, Old Zhao’s alarm went off.

But Flower Bear clearly hadn’t stopped; he seemed to have entered a state of selflessness, his fists striking like a storm, having long ignored the alarm sound.

The sound of the alarm indicated Old Zhao was already in a dangerous situation. If he were hit any further, he might be in mortal danger.

The staff from afar ran over hurriedly, but unfortunately, the distance was a bit too far.

The other resting sparring partners all stood up; Old Zhao had been beaten into a corner, with nowhere to escape.

Smack!

At this moment, Su Yue stomped hard on the ground, his body flashed over, directly grabbing Flower Bear’s fist.

Su Yue’s previous sparring opponent looked dumbfounded.

The fight had been going smoothly, but in the blink of an eye, Su Yue had disappeared.

How fast must his speed have been.

This B7-level fighter rubbed his eyes vigorously.

Could a mere sparring bag, not even a Martial Artist, have such speed?

”Old Zhao’s alarm went off, stop.”

Su Yue clenched Flower Bear’s fist, his entire arm numbed from the shock.

This Flower Bear had a lot of strength.

Just now, in his eagerness to save someone, Su Yue even utilized his true speed. No wonder the B7 fighter was surprised.

During training, Su Yue evaded only within three steps, a test more of adaptability, so he didn’t utilize his speed.

”Xiaosu, thank you.

”Actually, I could have taken a punch or two more. Big Brother Flower Bear wouldn’t intentionally kill me; he just got a bit emotional.”

Old Zhao stood up, wiping the sweat off his forehead.

”Here, I’ll give you an extra 3000 bucks later, my bad for losing control.”

Flower Bear came to his senses, shaking his head.

”Kid, I’ve been watching you for a while. Why not spar with me? I promise I won’t kill you.”

Flower Bear clenched his fist, looking at Su Yue with ill-intent.

”Haha, Xiaosu, you don’t know, Big Brother Flower Bear’s a good guy, often gives us tips. If you can hold your own, you could give it a try with him.”

Old Zhao patted Su Yue on the shoulder.

”Alright.”

Su Yue nodded.

Facing a B7 fighter had already become somewhat tedious for him.

Although he hadn’t yet met the conditions to spar with B8 fighters, since he was directly asked, he might as well agree.

The club has many rules, but as long as both parties agree, rules can be discarded.

Sparring with a B8 fighter would also mean higher pay.

Gearing up, the fight began.

Facing a B8 fighter, Su Yue’s pressure suddenly increased.

Regardless of speed, strength, or angle, Flower Bear was the strongest yet.

Every punch he took left half of his body numbed.

Su Yue was experiencing once again that long-lost feeling of utter defeat.

Other people in the training room all stopped, watching how Flower Bear would ravage Su Yue.

Flower Bear was a ruthless man, nearly stepping into the B9 level.

And Su Yue was the fastest progressing sparring partner since the club’s inception, bar none.

He’s already left the second-place runner-up far behind by eighteen blocks.

The clash between these two was definitely exciting.

Indeed.

Su Yue had a lot of talent.

In just over ten minutes, he gradually moved from being beaten to finding his opponent’s attack flaws and dodging.

Those present were all experts, shocked by Su Yue’s comprehension abilities.

Truly extraordinary.

”Alright, that’ll be enough for today.

”Continue training with me tomorrow, here’s twenty thousand, divide it amongst all sparring partners, and buy something nutritious.”

Su Yue hadn’t fallen yet, and this time Flower Bear voluntarily stopped the fight.

He even handed out a cash reward.

Su Yue was breathing heavily, although bruised and beaten, the confrontation had been exhilarating.

The feeling of challenging his limits was awesome.

...

In the locker room.

While changing, Su Yue overheard the sparring partners chatting.

Although Flower Bear was a bit brutal earlier, it was just a bad mood, normally he’s easy-going with a nice personality.

Apart from occasionally tipping, he even treats the sparring partners to meals privately.

You know, in the club, sparring bags are the lowest of the low, to be treated well by a B8 fighter, it truly felt different.

Flower Bear has the best reputation among the sparring partners.

Just like Old Zhao today.

If a sparring partner got badly injured, Flower Bear would even pay extra for their recovery.

”Old Zhao, you’ve finally saved enough for fifteen thousand; you can buy your daughter the new Huawei phone, congratulations!”

Everyone teased Old Zhao.

”Yeah, my daughter has wanted that phone for a long time; a lot of her classmates use it.”

Speaking of his daughter, Old Zhao smiled kindly.

”Old Zhao, is your daughter in college?”

Su Yue furrowed his brow and asked.

The latest Huawei phone costs nearly fifteen grand, quite the luxury for a student.

”No, she’s starting high school this semester. I planned to get her a gift.”

Blood began to flow again on Old Zhao’s face, he pressed down on the bandages anew.

”High school, and you’re buying her a Huawei phone? A bit extravagant, no?”

Su Yue’s eyebrows knitted deeper.

”Haha, as long as she’s happy.”

Old Zhao laughed, with a carefree attitude.

Su Yue shook his head, unsure what to say.

High school students these days, so vain already; their father gets beaten up for a living, yet they want a Huawei to satisfy their vanity.

Really beyond judgment.

But if Old Zhao is willing, what’s an outsider got to say.

Perhaps, every father has a heart that spoils his daughter.
