Martial Arts: I Have Diligence Reward System

Chapter 67: Chapter 61: Bloody Carnival

Early the next morning, three buses arrived.

The students, divided into three groups, boarded the buses separately.

During special training, carrying personal belongings is not allowed, and the bus Su Yue and his group boarded was quite empty.

Zhou Yuncan tearfully bid farewell to Hao You, who chased after the bus for a while, creating quite a scene of parting.

”We’ll be back in three months, it’s not like we’re disappearing forever.”

Liao Ji pouted at the view outside the window.

The bus for the attack group also departed.

”So we won’t actually be training in the deserted village, then why come here? Vacation?”

Su Yue’s bus also slowly started.

To avoid unnecessary trouble, Su Yue left all his silver needles in the safe, going in lightly armed.

He had a premonition that the upcoming training wouldn’t be easy.

Dai Yuegui didn’t come along; the accompanying teachers were the ones who returned with him a few days ago.

”I’m Sun Zhiwei, your defense group teacher.

”Additionally, I’m the vice president of the Unlimited Fighting Club in Yu Liang City, Wuyuan Province, once achieving the honor of a first-degree ranking with a 98-match winning streak at the club.”

Sun Zhiwei had a lean physique, his eyes constantly shining with brilliance.

Liao Ping looked worried.

He initially wanted to escape harsh training, never expecting the teacher to be a combat coach.

This was frightening.

The other students hardly dared to breathe.

”Teacher, are we heading to an out-of-province for training?”

Su Yue asked.

As he knew, such fighting clubs allowed for casualties.

Could it be they were being sent to the ring to die?

”Yes, the fighting atmosphere in Renqing Province isn’t strong. Yu Liang City, also known as the City of Fighters, has the privilege of allowing martial artists to die in the ring.”

Sun Zhiwei smiled somewhat maliciously.

”Teacher, are we going to compete against desperadoes?”

A student’s lips turned pale.

”No, no way! The laws of Divine Land don’t allow it, we’re not even 18 yet.”

Another student quickly shook their head.

”Haha, rules can be broken. Many fighters below 18 go on stage, but none have lasted over 3 minutes.

”As for you?

”You’re not even qualified for the stage, even if Su Yue has 19 kart Qi Blood, it’s still death upon stepping up.

”Fighters, in theory, have all killed before, you students are weak as tofu.”

Sun Zhiwei shook his head.

”Not going to fight... That’s good.”

Liao Ping breathed a sigh of relief; he was most afraid of fights.

”Have you heard of a human punching bag?

”It’s about wearing protective gear, specifically serving as a sparring partner for fighters.

”Charged by the hour, if beaten to death, you get tenfold compensation.”

Sun Zhiwei smiled more terrifyingly.

”Human punching bag?

”Such a benevolent, humorous, and charming teacher like you surely wouldn’t let us become human punching bags, right?”

A student swallowed hard.

The idea of becoming human punching bags for those desperadoes was simply a joke.

If accidentally killed, no amount of compensation would be enjoyed by oneself.

”I admit I’m benevolent, humorous, and charming, and I also congratulate you, you guessed right.

”Your first half-year of training, mainly revolves around being human punching bags.”

Sun Zhiwei nodded.

”Being a human punching bag should earn quite a salary, right? How is this money calculated?”

Su Yue frowned.

His question hit the nail on the head.

”This money will be directly handed over to Instructor Dai Yuegui, I have no authority to handle it.

”Besides, you need to understand, after being beaten, everyone needs a lot of nourishing medicine to recover from the injuries.

”The money burned by your group may be two to three times that of the other two groups, in extreme cases, even five times.”

Sun Zhiwei glanced at Su Yue, as if saying: Don’t look for bargains while complaining.

”But isn’t our budget funded by the education bureau?”

Another student asked.

”Yes, so for this year, everything belongs to the education bureau. The money you earn also belongs to the education bureau.”

Sun Zhiwei was matter-of-fact.

”Overlord clause.”

Liao Ping sighed.

”Let me clearly tell you, this training is very necessary.

”The alien races in the Wet Realm are not stupid, while we’re studying how to deal with them, they’re also studying the weaknesses of human martial artists.

”And being a live punching bag can further enhance your defensive awareness of vital points.

”Take a break for now, the next few months will be very tough for you.”

Sun Zhiwei lay in the front row pretending to sleep, while the other students were already considering jumping out of the bus.

Even if they hadn’t experienced slaughtered pork, they’d seen pigs run.

The fighting videos online, even though mild, still looked extremely horrifying.

And now becoming a punching bag for murderers.

This is like risking one’s life.

...

Worthy of being the City of Fighters.

Since the bus entered the city, one could see streets full of various fighting elements.

Moreover, the number of private cars in this city was visibly ten times more than that in Cengyan City.

License plates from all over Divine Land, diverse as can be.

In Divine Land, many Qi and Blood Martial Artists were of the first rank, after risking their lives fulfilling military service, they could do legitimate business.

These small entrepreneurs had been to the battlefield, witnessed bloodshed, but didn’t wish to risk the Wet Realm again.

Watching at fighting clubs and even betting were considered forms of participation and reminiscence.

Moreover, the fighters at fighting clubs were also martial artists who failed to excel at ranks one and two, and given similar status, wealthy individuals watching these fighter battles felt a sense of connection.

Martial artists of rank three and above disdained such levels of matches.

The owners of these private cars were also many ordinary people, but their backgrounds weren’t ordinary, typically having close relatives who were strong martial artists.

Fighting clubs were the closest bloody revelry to ordinary people, hence many martial artist families were keen on watching.

Among those participating fighters, first rank was the majority.

Their reasons for stepping down varied... debt, bad habits, business failure.

Some spent excessively, requiring quick money.

They virtually had no breakthroughs anymore, hence unnecessary to risk death at the Wet Realm Battlefield, ending up choosing this place.

Of course, there were those who were unwilling to remain lifelong at first rank, needing lots of money to strive for further breakthroughs.

Fighters, referred to as black sheep among martial artists, were looked down upon by most martial artists.

Some martial artists even suggested abolishing fighter clubs, for they degraded martial artists’ reputation.

Yet, the Divine Cabinet ultimately didn’t agree to this proposal.

Firstly, these martial artists, after completing military service and failing in life, needed a place to settle, or they’d become unstable elements.

Secondly, allowing ordinary people close contact with martial artists was also a form of martial artist consciousness training.

After all, even the most despised fighters among martial artists could easily make a lot of money, enough to make ordinary people envious.

Sun Zhiwei was undoubtedly worthy of his position as vice president.

Before long, he had everyone arranged into different training grounds.

This was to let them taste the feeling of isolation and helplessness ahead of time.

...

Dressing room.

Following a staff member’s instructions, Su Yue changed into protective gear.

Meanwhile, he attached a heart rate chip behind his ear.

This equipment monitored the vital signs of a human punching bag, allowing to halt the fighters timely.

Though law permitted casualties, the club didn’t want to incur unnecessary compensation.

Sun Zhiwei had already contacted the best private hospital, ensuring prompt medical treatment for quick recovery.

”Being pummeled by first-rank martial artists, the breakthrough speed should be quite fast.”
