Blood Awakening: The Strongest Hybrid and His Vampire Bride

Chapter 676: A Little Female Kitten

Nikolai enjoyed a hearty meal and regretted that his wives couldn’t join him. But thankfully, Miranda sat and discussed their current situation while the pair ate something light.

He glanced at the clock above the dark mahogany bar.

After returning home, the first six hours almost flew by, with him half-conscious from the bizarre black organism and his fun with Zara, and the two hours with his little maids and their newborn girls.

”I should be able to meet them soon, right?”

Miranda nodded, checking her digital clipboard, then checked her wrist. ”I believe that Madame Rika has just finished treatment and should be ready to see you. We’ve given her some relaxants and an IV to help sustain her, but without your blood...”

He understood without her leading eyes.

”Then, shall we head over?”

Nikolai added a large tip to the chef who cooked his meal and to the pretty waitress with the perky hips, then stood.

Miranda glanced at his payment screen before giggling.

”You’re quite generous, Sir.”

”Of course, one served a delicious meal, while the other offered a wonderful atmosphere.”

”Then...” Miranda slipped closer, and the heat of her breath blew down Nikolai’s chest. ”What kind of reward will this hard-working doctor receive? Can I expect something rather substantial in size?”

’This woman...’

He shrugged, not really interested in playing her game.

Although she was sexy, he couldn’t find desire towards her after Zara’s intoxicating sex a short while earlier. But he wouldn’t just close the door without leaving a small foot in the door.

After all, there could be something fun in the future.

Nikolai pushed past her with a smile.

He ignored the hand that slipped across his lower body and headed towards Rika’s room, following the arrows to the location she mentioned during their conversation.

”Let’s see how you handle this, then I’ll consider the largest possible reward.” To avoid any annoying issues, he glanced back and replied, then turned away after a wink.

”Y-Yes, Sir!”

Suddenly, she followed with more enthusiasm, her cheeks lightly flushed.

The poor woman seemed to have misunderstood.

However, he wouldn’t clear it.

’Maybe I can have some fun in the future, a doctor seeing to my swollen limb... he he...’

But he shook his head to remove such thoughts; right now, he needed to be there for his wives, not just a figurehead.

For Selene and Nikita, he bled to the point of near death.

So he couldn’t neglect his other wives; that would be foolish and would break the promise he had given them all along, as well as his pride.

While walking down the hallway, he listened to Doctor Miranda’s nervous ramblings on the way to the correct rooms. Of course, his wives enjoyed the most VIP of VIP services.

There would be no point in a private health sector otherwise.

...

Eventually, he found a large security door with the same code Miranda mentioned. For some reason, Rika accepted the second room while Kumiko rested in the first room.

”Phew... the room is here?”

He glanced up at the massive door as it slowly hissed upon opening.

’It’s quite daunting.’

However, the inside was surprisingly elegant, with flowers, an eastern vibe, and all the expensive gadgets you might find in a five-star hotel room.

”There she is.”

He found his wife lying against several fluffy pillows and resting her legs on two cushions.

The slender nekomata was slightly different from Kumiko, Selene, and Nikita, who had gained a little bit of weight during their pregnancies. Her little bump was smaller, and her body remained slim and petite.

’Though I’ve heard she ate like a horse.’

Rika suddenly sniffed the air, her four tails slapping the pillows around her bed as she glanced at the door with sharp, feline eyes.

”N-Nikolai!?” Her voice turned inside out as she quickly tried to move the cushions to hide the mixture of normal and lewd magazines she was reading. ”T-They were a gift from Nikita, they’re not mine!”

A few fell to the floor with a plop due to her sudden movements.

She protested while covering her face.

”Hm?”

Nikolai picked one of them up from the floor.

”The hunky werewolf and the submissive black cat...?”

The moment he opened the thin magazine, he immediately closed it and wanted to burn his eyes with acid.

’What the hell?! It was man-on-man!’

He looked up at Rika, who turned bright red and held out her hand for the book, though she claimed it was from Nikita. He knew this was something she liked, as she folded the little corner with a small cat print sticker.

’She does this with the fashion magazines Anya buys...’

”Forget it, it’s not my business.” He tossed the magazine onto her bed and came closer, noticing that, unlike the main door, the doctors used a secondary side door and performed most of their tasks out of the patient’s view.

’What a good woman.’

Someone clueless might’ve followed him in.

”It’s good to see you, honey. I’ve been so lonely the past few days.” Rika didn’t show her emotions easily, so her admitting them was enough to get Nikolai’s attention.

He quickly sat on the bed beside her and stroked her slightly coarse hair.

”How are you doing? Is it tough?”

Nikolai lowered his voice as much as possible while brushing his fingers along her fluffy ears, watching the monitors beside the bed slowly bleeping.

”It’s not that hard, I can handle it...”

Her voice trailed off as she nuzzled against his palm.

”Really? I rushed here because I worried about you.”

”Eh?! Really?” Her little green eyes beamed with delight as she stroked her stomach clockwise, tapping the plump bump with a smirk. ”Well, it’s a little tough at night, when I’m all alone and my stomach cramps...”

”Then, shall I stay over?”

”Nn!”

But she suddenly looked strange, then glanced into his eyes. ”What about Kumi?! I can’t have her sleep alone while I have you! We’re both in here, look, she’s on a call with me now, they just gave her and the baby a spa bath!”

”Hm?”

Rika tapped the large screen beside her bed, and an image of Kumiko in a loose white kimono appeared on it, much like Rika.

Kumiko’s eyes flickered beneath her closed eyelids, but she didn’t seem to wake up from the noise and leaked a cute snore.

”She seems quite comfy in that warm room.”

Nikolai couldn’t believe how high-class the VIP rooms were compared to when Nikita and Selene gave birth.

It was like heaven and earth.

”So, don’t feel you have to stay.” She leaned against his chest, guiding his hand to her stomach and stroking herself. ”The doctors said that I could give birth at any moment, but I have no clue when.”

”Really? I thought you’d both gone into labour and were in a critical state.”

Rika trembled and then avoided his eyes.

”What’s the matter, little cat?”

”Well, we did... we thought we entered labour, but the midwives just laughed and said it wasn’t quite time yet. Ah, but the blood is true, we’ve been getting transfusions from the ones you make for the maids, thanks to that overly sexy doctor with huge breasts.”

Nikolai coughed, knowing who he meant.

’Damn that horny doctor, she got me good!’

He shook his head and let it go, instead enjoying the warmth flowing from Rika’s stomach, the slight thump from within pulsing through his palm.

Rika closed her eyes, seemingly enjoying him stroking her stomach.

”Have you thought of any names yet?” He asked.

”I don’t know whether you will like the name, but I’ve already learned the sex.”

”Oh?”

He couldn’t help but pause, his hand.

She opened her eyes before hesitatingly speaking.

”When I was getting the blood transfusion, the medical charts on the digital screen flashed up for a moment. But... you know my eyes are extremely good, I saw the code words used for a baby girl and that she was doing fine.”

”Yeah.”

”Are you disappointed?” Her hand stroked along his arm, gently squeezing his muscular forearm nervously.

”No, why would I be? To think we will have a cute little kitten together makes me happier than anything. We’re still young, if you want more, I am happy to keep having them for the next ten years, haha.”

His chest pounded with a slow beat.

His emotions are a strange mixture of jubilation and bitterness, as if someone had stolen his enjoyment early.

’A little... I’m a little disappointed.’

However, he couldn’t make her bright little eyes dim.

He stroked her cheeks, cupping them both while forcing a smile, gently kissing Rika’s soft lips. She eagerly opened her mouth, pushing her soft little tongue into his mouth, curling around his tongue as they hugged each other tight.

The kiss wasn’t long or overly dense, just an affirmation of their feelings.

After their lips parted, Rika placed her palms on his chest, gently blowing down his stomach with her little nose. In return, he pulled her close, stroking the back of her head, while enjoying the faint scent of lavender that came from her neck.

”Mm, I also wanted to save it for a surprise.”

”Well, I’m happy that she’s healthy and will be cute just like her mother.”

Rika peeked up at him with one eye, ”ehehe~ am I cute? Do you still find me cute even after getting like this?”

He didn’t hesitate.

”You’re the cutest woman in the world. Even now.”

The answer clearly made her happy, as she wrapped both arms around his neck and draped against him, kissing his chest with short, sweet pecks.

”Mwah~ Mwah~ Mwaaaah~ hehehe, let’s watch a movie together, Yumiko can watch too.”

”As long as you’re happy, Rika.”
