Blood Awakening: The Strongest Hybrid and His Vampire Bride

Chapter 670: A New Man

Despite waking up soon after they placed him on the cold table, Nikolai remained in a state of meditation. He listened to the outside while sifting through his memories and thoughts, trying to analyse the many mistakes he’d made.

After sorting them, he assessed any possible improvements he could make.

’It seems they’re still waiting for Sasha. Is something going on?’

He began spreading his aura into his ears, reaching past the current room and into the corridors, trying to find out more. ”I heard the mistress entered labour...” That’s when he heard a few maids whispering near the entrance.

”It wasn’t just Mistress Kumiko, but Lady Rika! I heard from my friend in the Alpha team that the two endured as long as possible waiting for the Master, but reached their limits and Mother Elizabeth forced them to enter labour last night.”

”Oh my, are they aware of the Master’s situation?”

”No! And you mustn’t tell a soul, the Master’s situation is being kept secret from his wives, until they’ve fully stabilised and analysed his illness.”

”Y-Yes, Senior.”

’I see, I’m going to become a father again...’

His blood began boiling against the black mass that devoured and neutralised it.

He didn’t know how, but each time the black mark devoured a large amount of his evil god’s blood. The numbness and pain faded slightly as the next batch of blood pumped faster, allowing him to recover more quickly.

”Let’s get up.”

The cold table’s chill faded as he heard the news.

He pushed himself onto the edge, his legs dangled from the metal, while he touched the soft mass, which shrank slightly while he slept.

’It seems that my black heart is trying to overcome this poison.’

Nikolai pondered the aim of using this on him before he closed his eyes.

”Did they know it wouldn’t be permanent? Is it to delay my recovery for something?”

Without the answer, he could only prepare for the worst situation.

However, sitting on the metal bed without clothes left him in quite a conundrum. Nikolai knew his current state wasn’t perfect, and this black mass would latch onto anyone who came into direct contact with his skin.

It was a room built to quarantine people, and so the triple doors weren’t easy to get through without clearance.

’Well, I probably have it, but I should wait.’

”My wives are struggling alone, so I cannot act like a fool!”

Psssssh!

”That’s a good boy, Auntie is proud.”

The hydraulics opened the doors beside him as three women in full bio-safety suits stepped inside.

Anastasia, Sasha and the third was Zara.

’Zara?!’

He couldn’t help but notice the tears flowing from her eyes as she held a massive white box. Though she seemed eager to speak with him, she set the box on the second table and clicked the lock open.

Snap!

”Now then, care to turn our way so we can take a look?”

”Sure.”

Nikolai didn’t really have an issue being naked; there was usually a reason for the doctor’s actions, and so he slid to the edge of the table and sat with his legs spread halfway. A sharp jolt of pain rushed through his abdomen as his balls touched the cold chill of the table.

”Whoa!”

”Nice~”

”Hmmmm...”

Anastasia gave him a thumbs up and a sarcastic nice, while Sasha uncharacteristically exclaimed at his naked form. Zara, however, hummed and stared intently at one spot before hurrying back to her task.

”Now then, I’m going to test a few things, and they’re going to hurt like hell. Be a big boy for Auntie and endure, okay?”

Anastasia held a scalpel and a pair of scissors, Sasha stood behind the monitor, and Zara used her multiple arms to hand tools to Anastasia and help Sasha from the side.

”No problem, just help me so I can see my children faster.”

”Mhm, of course... Ah, I can’t really call you little Niko with that thing dangling off the table. Can you cover it, please? Although Auntie loves big dicks, she isn’t into incest, sorry.”

”...”

A white sheet flew through the air.

Nikolai’s cheeks flushed slightly as he grabbed the white blanket tossed by Zara.

”This better?”

”Yeah, now lie down and remain silent.”

Wrrrrr!

The loud hum of a rotating saw echoed the moment she spoke.

His chest thundered, a little nervous about what his Aunt might do to him, but this wasn’t something he could avoid. The black mass ate away at his flesh, taking that choice away from him.

He spread out on the table and found the icy chill along his back quite refreshing.

”Let’s get this started.”

Squish~

The blade sank into the black mass, and a sudden sharpness bit into Nikolai’s flesh, drawing out a laboured groan. ”Ngh!!”

”Holy shit, this thing is alive!?” Anastasia exclaimed. ”Sasha, hurry and scan its biological readings... the thing is bleeding black tar!”

Nikolai struggled to breathe.

The moment she pushed the scalpel into the mass, he could almost feel the black organism enter overdrive. It sucked with such intensity that it forced his black heart to squeeze itself tight, producing more and more blood constantly.

”Argh...!”

He clawed at the metal, twisting and bending it as long black claws tore through his flesh, growing from his bones.

”Oh god, hurry and strap him down! This thing is affecting his brain somehow... Nikolai’s transforming into a beast and not the temporary kind!”

A throbbing ache spread through his head, like multiple hammers smashing into his skull, causing a constant vibration that shook his brain.

”Sasha!”

”C-Coming!”

The world around him turned dark, like someone had poured ink into his eyes.

Nikolai tried to scream, but his throat remained tightly closed, blocking all air from getting in or out. He could hear the panicked shouts of Anastasia as she stabbed his chest, trying to create a possible air hole, but the sound became distant as if underwater.

”What’s going on with him?!” Zara’s worried cry buzzed in the back of his mind as Nikolai struggled to breathe.

He tried to break free of the black slimy tendrils that clung to his arms and legs, holding him down. But when he lashed out, there was a soft cry, and he saw Zara fly across the room and slam into the wall.

”!?”

His three hearts pounded faster.

He didn’t notice his right arm swelling to the same size as his werewolf state, with long black claws covered in vibrant blood.

”Aaaaa.” When he tried to speak, only a distorted sound left his throat.

’What the hell!?’

The panic sank in as he started to lose focus, the world growing distant again.

”No, Nikolai! You can’t sleep, stay with us!”

Anastasia, Sasha and Zara all called out to him, but the weight of his eyelids only grew with each passing second. Nikolai found peace the moment they closed, his body floating in a dark river somewhere.

He no longer needed to fight or resist an unknown threat.

The soft voices of his wives all called out to him, seeking his attention.

It was a place he could stay forever.

...

Meanwhile, in the real world outside, Zara held down Nikolai’s half-transformed body using her six arms. She sat atop his waist, struggling to keep him stable as Anastasia took samples from his chest for Sasha to analyse.

”This looks worse than it is,” Anastasia mumbled to herself. ”It only seems bad because he’s so strong.”

”Keep focused, Anna!”

Sasha shouted from the bleeping machines as she tapped and adjusted the various data to analyse the black tar. ”I’ve analysed five of the seven components!”

”Good, I’m going to die.”

Anastasia’s chest gushed with dark purple blood as she cut another inch of the organism’s flesh. When his claws first transformed, he’d swiped across her stomach, almost ripping out her innards.

”Zara... are you sure that’s okay?”

Her eyes lowered to the long discarded cloth, and the magnificent object standing tall and pushing against the tight material covering Zara’s plump buttocks.

”I’m fine, this is just like usual.”

She couldn’t complain.

Because the moment he lost consciousness, he called her name. Now, while asleep, his body reacted to her whenever she touched him.

Zara then glanced at the two women before announcing in a deeper voice

”After you finish, I want a few hours alone with him.”

Anastasia and Sasha glanced at her for a few seconds. The blonde mermaid didn’t notice the subtle meaning, but Anastasia chuckled, then swiped the last sample from the black mass, and quickly jumped back.

Woosh!

A second later, his massive claws ripped through the air.

He easily tore Zara’s arms from his chest.

In an instant, all three women became Nikolai’s unconscious prey.

”Hah, little pup wants to make Aunt look stupid!”

Instantly, Anastasia’s body grew larger, her ears elongated, and her fur grew silvery white as she transformed into her own werewolf form. A pure white Volkov werewolf, though weaker than her brother, she could stop Nikolai at least for a few moments.

She tossed the vial of black tar to Sasha.

”Hurry, we have no time, find out what is making him react this way!”

Then rushed at his unconscious body, slamming him against the reinforced wall.

Deng!

Despite the metal being triple reinforced adamantium with diamond plating, the entire thing sank inward the moment his body smashed against it.

Anastasia tried to control his arms, but Nikolai already held both above her back, gripping together like a hammer.

”STOP!” Zara shouted, her eyes glowing purple.

A rush of pink aura flowed into Nikolai’s open mouth before seeping up to his brain.

For a moment, Nikolai stopped, his face turning to Zara while in his werewolf state, but a small glitter of clarity returned to his eyes.

”Put her down!”

”....Mm.”

Nikolai tossed Anastasia to the side.

She flew over six metres and hit the opposite wall.

”Come to me, come to your wife.”

Zara’s body trembled as her soul force depleted rapidly with each passing second, and she swallowed, trying to adjust. Nikolai trudged towards her, standing at eight feet tall, and towered over her, with little trace of the Nikolai she knew.

’Wow, this is what his enemies feel?’

But then something pressed against her stomach, something hard pushing deep into her flesh.

When she glanced down, her eyes widened to the limit.

”Oh, my goddess...!”

”Zara... I want it....” He spoke, barely conscious, but because of their mental link, Zara could feel these were his honest thoughts.

’Why, what brought on such feelings?!’

”H-How about we go to a room and—Kyaaa!”

The massive werewolf grabbed her waist, his hands almost big enough to cover half her body as he tossed her on the steel bed.

”Ngh?”

Zara opened her eyes, finding her husband looming over her.

She struggled to break free, but the power in his hands could trap both of hers in one.

’I see, to fight the pain and his berserk... he’s thinking these kinds of thoughts.’

”You have to be gentle, you cannot hurt me!” She ordered, her eyes shining bright pink as she poured most of her remaining soul force into his mind.

The werewolf nodded

Then sliced her clothes apart with a single swipe.

Though she couldn’t control him, she could guide the half-conscious Nikolai.

Because not a single inch of her pink skin was damaged or even rubbed enough to make a bruise or mark.

Zara glanced at Sasha from the corner of her eyes, noticing the mermaid’s thumbs up and the analysis machine’s flashing light.

Then she nodded, before looking up at the werewolf Nikolai.

She stared directly into his eyes and spoke.

”Good boy, now... make me feel good and be reborn a new man.”
