Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1034: Travel notes of Brandon

From MCʼs Perspective:

I discovered a travel note in the rackʼs corner. Then I picked it up and sat in a nearby seat. I opened the book and started reading it.

I began to read it. I soon discovered that the person who wrote this travel note wrote about what he witnessed during his stay there.

As a result, I can only extract half of the information. After I figured it out, I continued reading.

Meanwhile,

The news of Vincent Careyʼs return spread rapidly. People began clicking on an online post featuring Vincent Careyʼs recent photos taken in the academy library.

Everyone began sharing it in a matter of seconds. As time passed, people who had never been to the library began to come in.

The library begins to become crowded. Everyone is searching for Vincent Carey. There are numerous sections in this library. Some of them are private study spaces.

You cannot enter these rooms without first logging in. So the wizard students have decided to spend time here until they meet Vincent Carey.

...

Taboo Hall:

”He is back,” Mike Curtis said with a smile.

He expected Vincent to return sooner or later. But he was surprised to see Vincent had arrived safely. Because he was aware of Capital Cityʼs situation.

As a resident of the Capital City, he is aware of the growing number of high-level wizards.

As far as he can tell, it has something to do with Vincent Carey. To think he had returned safely, he could not help but think of rumors.

”It is true, the Magic Lord is actively protecting him,” Mike said in his heart.

To him, none of this matters. He is currently a level 6 True Wizard. He is curious as to whether Vincent Carey has made any progress.

If Vincent is found to be advanced, he intends to seek a rematch. The next moment, he instructed his followers to stalk the Sub-Taboo Hall.

He also instructed a few others to visit the Library.

He had a sudden realization.

”No, I should be going,” He said.

Mike Curtis grumbled, ”He might get away from their eyes.”

”Oh, here you are!”

A lovely voice suddenly rang out. It caused shivers down his spine.

”Alicia, why are you here?” Mike Curtis asked, turning around.

Purple-clad women stood in front of him. The level-7 Wizardʼs name is Alicia Park.

”What?”

”I have heard that your rival has arrived. I have heard a lot about him since I returned. So I can not wait to see him right now,” Alicia said, chuckling.

After saying that, she turned around and started walking toward the exit.

”I was told he went to the library. ”I guess I will have to leave as well,” she said, not turning her back.

Then she left.

Mikeʼs eyes became cold. He understands that this woman is a master manipulator. Her awakened mind magic makes her even scarier.

Except for him, the other members of the Taboo Hall are frightening characters. Whether itʼs their personality or their awakened magic.

Since she has decided to go meet him. He can not accompany her. He chooses to skip his meeting right now. He will find Vincent Carey later.

...

Meanwhile,

Somewhere close to the Sand Rock Country border. There is a small desert. Despite the fact that the desert is relatively small in size. However, the location contains numerous hidden dangers.

Gilbert has received a mission to investigate this location. Many convicted high-level wizards are taking refuge here.

He is standing in mid-air, looking down at the sand dune below him. He is getting a strange sense of danger from the sand dune.

He noticed a sudden shift in the sand particles.

Swoosh!

The next moment, he vanishes.

A massive metal chain tail explodes from the sand dune, striking the empty spot.

A wizard with an upper half human body and a lower half scorpion body emerged. The metallic chain tail is part of the scorpionʼs lower half body.

”Transmutation Society,” Gilbert exclaimed in surprise as he appeared a short distance from the sand dune.

The Hybrid Wizard did not speak. But when he saw the enemy, he dashed towards him.

Gilbert grew serious.

They collided in an instant.

Boom!

Their collisions disturbed the sand dunes, resulting in sand smoke in the air.

Gilbert appeared behind him and struck him with his magic spell.

”Shock Palms”

The hybrid wizardʼs body was struck with a tremendous force. He was flown back.

After smashing into the nearby dunes, the hybrid wizard stands up and begins attacking again. He was completely numb to the pain.

Gilbertʼs eyes narrowed when he saw that. He can see weird red and green liquid dripping from his opponentʼs body.

He does not want to keep delaying it any longer.

After a few minutes,

The hybrid wizardʼs animal instinct kicks in, rendering him irrational. He attacks with the scorpionʼs tail.

However, none of the attacks hit the intended target. Gilbert continued to strike him with Shock Palm blows.

Shortly afterward,

The Hybrid Wizardʼs head detached from his body.

Finally, his corpse dropped to the ground.

Gilbert maintained a serious expression after killing the enemy. Because the person was a level 7 Transmutation Wizard. He believes this individual is from a Transmutation Society.

Because not all academies have the knowledge and resources necessary to train Wizard seeds who have awakened Transmutation Magic.

It is the magic of inserting or combining foreign living creatures into a human body. This type of knowledge is extremely rare.

It was taught at academies in some countries. One such country was nearby. However, it was not a neighboring country. It is still located further away. However, when compared to the size of the world, he can consider it close.

Even he knows very little about that country. As far as he knew, that country was a one of the superpowers. The Transmutation Society was one of the powerful academies in their capital city.

He hopes the person was not from there. If he was from that academy, why is he seeking refuge here? As if he was fleeing from something.

Gilbertʼs expression became ugly as he continued to think about it.

Beep!

A message notification interrupted his thoughts. He then casually checks it. Seeing as it was a message from Carolina. He reads it.

The next moment, his mood improves slightly.

”The troublemaker is finally back,” Gilbert said, smiling.

However, he did not forget Vincent Careyʼs actions. He fled without informing anyone, including his fellow hall members.

Whenever he thinks of it. He is depressed. Then he recalls Elder Galvinʼs advice. If Vincent expresses his concern to them, everyone will jump in to help him.

It can sometimes lead to greater danger. He believes Vincentʼs attitude has changed as a result of this. So he did not take it too seriously.

Essentially, they are weak, and the hall has fewer members. During a confrontation, they may find themselves outnumbered. So he will not criticize Vincentʼs actions.

Then he places the corpse in the special box before inserting it into the storage bracelet. He decides to leave immediately.

...

Library,

After reading the travel notes, I closed the book and leaned back in my chair. I sank into deep thought.

My expression was not positive. The things written in the travel notes are negative. The travelerʼs experience in that country was nothing short of a horror story.

The travelerʼs name was Brandon. He was an elemental mage. However, he felt looked down upon by the people of that country.

He has also discovered the reason. Because elemental images are extremely common in that country. And not all mages are powerful. So he received poor treatment.

The traveler has also been to several important places. He has stated that the Wizard Clansʼ territory is equivalent to a small island nation.

Each Wizard Clan carries a powerful army with them. They can compete with other major organizations or academic institutions.

After that, I could not stop thinking about Cory Anderson, the owner of the Purple Chamber of Commerce in the Purple City.

She also comes from a prominent family. When I asked, she described something similar to the stories written in the travel notes.

But at the time, I brushed it off and did not think much about it. Because my attention was drawn to the ruin that she had mentioned.

But if the organizations, Wizard families, Wizard clans, and institutions are so powerful. I believe it is difficult to obtain a spot from them.

But that ruin is somewhere I must go. That location might contain Gravity Magic Resources.

”Do not tell me the crippled old man and Dean were silent because of this,” I complained.

Sand Rock Country cannot compete with Ancient Redwood Country. It would be similar to hitting a rocky mountain with an egg.

”What should I do?” I asked myself.

Rustle!

Then I heard some sounds coming from outside the study area.

Sigh!

Then I sighed internally as I remembered something.

I believe the news of my return has reached everyone.
