Chapter 1023: Part 1: Arriving at the Capital

From MCʼs Perspective:

The following day,

At dawn, the Air Ship arrives in the Sand Rock Countryʼs capital. But as it approached the City Wall.

The AirShip reduced its speed. Instead of landing outside, it is going to enter the city. The airship will land at the Capital Merchant Associationʼs airfield.

Unlike other small business companies, the Airs ship was not subject to as many regulations. Because it is an airship from an allied country. They are being treated with consideration and caution.

The City Guards dispatched a few people to direct the airship towards the airfield. Normally, this was not the case. The Royal Force Hall, on the other hand, pulled a heavy string this time.

Because the academy is a government institution. The City Guards are readily available to assist them with their operations. Even the Lord of the City was aware of the situation. However, this person prefers to remain discreet and makes few public appearances.

He manages everything from behind the scenes. He has been aware of the Weapon Palace Academy and Royal Force Hall scheme for some time. He has chosen not to leave.

Otherwise, he would get caught in the crossfire between the three academies.

On the other hand, many people were drawn to the new foreign air ship. This includes the high and peak level wizards from all three forces.

The Dark League is powerless to take action. They operate from the shadows. The Weapon Palace Wizards are unable to intervene in this situation. Because the airship is a member of the foreign merchant union.

Only the government is capable of handling this. The Royal Force Hall Wizards are starting to move. Unlike the other two forces, they are not defenseless.

A Peak Level Wizard has already issued instructions to inspect the Airship. They are not going to leave it as an exception. Since they are thoroughly inspecting all other vehicles entering from the outside.

So they are going to do the same with the Bright Nation Airship. However, everyone knows Vincent Carey is unlikely to appear on that ship.

Only people with a certain level of authority or with government identification can travel on that ship. No students were allowed to board the ship.

As a result, the prospects are slim. However, the Royal Force Hallʼs Wizards would do their best to search every nook and cranny of the Airship once it landed on the ground.

Meanwhile,

Inside the Gregor Mansion, I was already prepared to appear outside. The female wizards had already departed. Another group has sat inside the cabin.

I learned from their conversation that we were already inside the capital city. I experienced a sudden sense of relief.

It feels great to be back. I am not sure how many days I will be inside the academy. I need to make plans to visit the Ancient Redwood Country. Which is a Super Large Nation.

A few minutes later,

The airship touches down at the Merchant Association AirField in the capital. The field was large and open. For some reason, no other aircraft or air ships were found nearby.

Shortly afterwards,

Several high-level wizards surrounded the Airship. They are the Wizards of the Royal Force Hall. The City Guards were surprised. However, no one dared to question. They were sent here as guides.

They have finished their job. They have made a decision to leave.

On the other hand, the passengers on the deck observed something. Everyone was taken aback by the appearance of high level wizards.

Because the Royal Force Hall Wizards did not hide their coercion. They do not want anyone to slip away. So they have no choice but to intimidate the passengers.

The passengers were frozen in fear, exactly as they had intended.

Uproar!

The next moment, there is a minor commotion.

”What is happening?”

”Are we being attacked!”

”Why did they surround us?”

”Is there a conflict between Sand Rock Country and Bright Nation?”

”We are just regular traders.”

Because of their fear, the passengers began screaming and shouting. Their uproar alarmed both the protector and the Captain of the Air Ship.

Swoosh!

Then a white-haired old man appeared in front of everyone. He is standing in midair.

He said, ”Silence,” in a deep voice.

Everyone relaxed after hearing that. The Captainʼs face was tense as well.

The old man then cast his gaze over the wizards that had surrounded the airship. He frowned deeply.

He is an 8th-level wizard. He discovered mana signatures ranging from level 6 to level 7 from wizards surrounding the airship, which is not good news.

”We are from Arken Cityʼs Auction House, Bright Nation.

”The majority of our passengers are locals who took part in our auction. We are simply escorting them back,” the old man said quietly.

Hearing that, the Royal Force Hall Wizards exchanged glances. Some of them discovered that the old man was stronger than themselves.

So everyone waited for further instructions.

Swoosh!

A level-8 Peak Wizard from the Royal Force Hall finally made an appearance. He stood opposite the old man.

”Ha...Ha...Ha....welcome visitors from the bright nation. We are doing this to check vehicles entering the capital from outside.”

”We are looking for someone. ”I hope you can work with us,” he said.

The old man was displeased. Since they are in foreign territory. He can not retaliate very much. He intends to leave this place as soon as possible.

He then turned to the Captain and gave him instructions.

The Captain then directs all crew members to appear outside. Right after everyone working inside the cabin walks out.

Seeing that, the Royal Force Peak Wizard nodded his head.

He said,”The passengers can leave one by one.”

The next second, he takes out a circular artifact. The magical power that emanates from it can dispel any disguise magic.

He does not want to reveal it because it could alert their target.

However, the old man saw everything. He could not help but curse in his heart. He and the captain start to watch the people leave one by one.
