Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1000: Part 1: Dark Leagueʼs New Leader

From MCʼs Perspective:

Deep down, Rex was scared. This setback will have a profound effect on him. The higher ups would undoubtedly punish him if they found out. Furthermore, he would no longer be able to select special missions with any privileges.

”Leader, four of our members are not answering. ”I guess they are dead; should we go check on them?” one of the Shadow Skull Wizards said.

Hearing this, the rest of them came to their senses. They are only worried about the missionʼs failure a moment ago. Now, their members have died in silence.

Rexʼs eyes flash with a murderous glint. The Shadow Skull is a killer organization, and anyone who messes with them is usually punished severely.

Failure to complete the mission is one thing. However, he must first determine who is responsible for this attack. Otherwise, he will face more questions from higher-ups.

”Go find out where their corpses are,” Rex ordered impatiently.

Hearing that, the team immediately left the area. Rex sat down under the tree. He will leave after receiving the updates.

However, these people are unaware that the Culprit has decided to leave the lawless country.

The following day at 10 a.m.,

Swoosh!

I appeared outside, wearing a hoodie and mask. Then I started flying towards the border.

A few hours later,

After a long journey, I arrived at the border. I did this to avoid trespassing into the Weird Border Town. The organization behind that Tower is still unknown.

So I do not want to encounter another sick group of Wizards.

Then I took a walk down the street. After I crossed the border, I immediately started using the previous route. This forbidden area is less dangerous compared to the Silent Forest.

I used this path before and saved a lot of time. Not even the strange magic in this forest could stop me last time. But during the day, I have to be wary of other wizards, not just the strange magic.

Not long after, I noticed caravans approaching from the opposite direction.

A quick gleam flashes in my eyes.

I know they must be members of the ancient tribe. But I am not sure if the Caravan belongs to the Super Tribe or the Medium Sized Tribe.

I didnʼt think about the Small Sized Tribe. Because they donʼt have Peak Wizards and Supreme Wizards in their Tribe.

With a lot of doubts in my heart, I began walking past them. But I saw there are tribes dressed in traditional clothes who are leading the caravan.

I used the system probe on everyone as I walked past them. But the result was breathtaking. They are Wizards who have reached levels 7 and 8.

If they are leading the caravan, the wizards hiding in the dark could be Peak level Wizards.

I took a cold breath of air.

On the other hand, the tribesʼ people have taken notice. However, they only cast a passing glance. Because the individual is alone. Even if he is a Peak Wizard, he will be unable to do anything.

Shortly after,

I walked past the whole tribe team. Nobody tried to question me. For them, I am just a passing ant.

With a small smile on my face, I continued my return journey.

Time passed,

During the night fall, I stayed in the Gregor Mansion. The following day, I continued my journey as usual.

Surprisingly, I did not come across any hostile groups following my encounter with Tribe members yesterday.

Unknowingly, I am looking forward to returning to the Yellow River Academy. I wonder what they are doing right now.

Dark League:

In the black mountain area, an important meeting was taking place. This time an esteemed guest is joining them for the meeting.

Inside the meeting room, several people are seated around a naturally formed rock table.

This time, a different person is presiding over the meeting. The old man who had caused so much havoc the previous time was nowhere to be seen.

That personʼs failure resulted in the unjust death of the Magic Lord. However, his failure has strained relations with the Meteor Country as well.

The person who is presiding over this meeting is the new leader of the Dark League. No one knows her real name. But everyone calls her old witch Arika. She is a level-10 Bloodline Wizard. Her bloodline has the power of an evil beast blood owl.

She had been trying to become the leader for a long time. The former leaderʼs failure has given her an opportunity.

”Harumph,” looking at everyone. She gave a cold snort.

The next second, everyone has become silent. Among the people seated around the table. There is no less than an aura of level 8 strength.

The elders remained silent and waited for their new leader to speak.

Arika, the old witch, revealed yellow teeth before saying, ”Since I took responsibility for our organization. Things will change from now on. Starting with completing a mission for our valued guest.”

Hearing this, everyone looked at each other. They have a good idea who the valued guest could be. The former leader had agreed to the request of a well-known figure.

But, in the end, he failed to finish it. Now hearing the new leaderʼs words. Everyone understood something.

Old witch Arika smiled and said, ”I believe some of you have already guessed it. Our guest is the Supreme Wizard of the Meteor Country.”

Gasp!

The next second, everyone exclaimed in a surprise. Even though some of them guessed. However, the new leader appears to be as ambitious as the previous leader. It has further shocked them.

Most of them know about the details of that mission. Which is to kill Wizard Heart Competition Winner Vincent Carry, who won the core level competition.

The circular gadget in the center of the table is then activated.

A holographic screen appears above it. This screen shows a person shrouded in mist.

Quiet!

Everyone quieted down. They recognized the person on screen. Even Arika, the old witch, expressed respect.
