Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Dean Tower:

Wizards of such high caliber possessed mana so potent that it could disrupt the natural order, causing the very environment around them to wither and die. Fields could turn barren, and forests could fall to ash in their wake. The consequences of such devastation were too great to risk, especially in a world where the land itself was a vital resource.

This dilemma weighed heavily on the dean’s mind. The academies, as well as other powerful organizations, were all too aware of the destructive potential of their highest-ranking wizards.

Thus, they were reluctant to deploy them unless absolutely necessary. The dean sighed, his gaze shifting to the map of the region that covered the far wall of his office. Each mark on the map represented a potential threat, a decision that had to be made.

With a weary resolve, the dean decided to send a few more wizards—those just below the threshold of Level 9—capable enough to handle the situation without risking environmental devastation. These wizards would oversee the situation, assess the threat, and ensure that the academy’s resource points remained secure.

As the dean finalized his orders, he could not shake the feeling that these were merely the opening moves in a larger, more dangerous game. He knew that in times like these, vigilance was not just a precaution—it was a necessity. The security of the academy, and perhaps even the stability of the entire region, depended on the decisions he made in these critical hours.

As the dean meticulously reviewed the reports, contemplating his next moves, a soft chime broke the silence of his chamber. The blue screen before him flickered to life, casting an eerie glow across the dimly lit room. The sudden illumination caught his attention, and with a furrowed brow, the old man shifted his focus back to the screen.

The dean, accustomed to receiving a constant flow of updates and communications, immediately recognized the significance of the alert. His weathered fingers moved with practiced precision as he accessed the notification. The screen responded with a fluid transition, revealing a single, unopened message.

As the dean opened the message, the sender’s identity appeared at the top, causing his heart to skip a beat. His usually calm demeanor gave way to a moment of intense seriousness as he realized the source: the Mage Union.

A rare occurrence, indeed. The dean’s expression tightened, a mixture of surprise and concern etched into his features.

The Mage Union, an organization of unparalleled authority and power, did not communicate lightly or without purpose. For them to reach out directly signaled that something of great importance was at hand.

“The message from the Mage Union, at last!” the old man murmured to himself, his voice tinged with a mix of disbelief and apprehension. He had been anticipating this for some time, yet now that it had arrived, the gravity of the situation hit him with full force.

Leaning back in his chair, the dean braced himself for what was to come. He knew that the Mage Union’s involvement could mean several things—none of them trivial.

Whether it pertained to the academy’s recent troubles, the broader geopolitical tension, or perhaps something even more significant, he could only speculate. But one thing was certain: whatever the Mage Union had to say would require his utmost attention and likely, decisive action.

Taking a deep breath, the dean prepared to delve into the contents of the message, fully aware that this could alter the course of events not just for the academy, but for the entire magical community.

The old man had been expecting this communication, though the turmoil in the Capital had nearly driven it from his mind. The constant pressure of dealing with crises had pushed this important matter to the back of his thoughts.

But now, as the message from the Mage Union stared back at him from the glowing screen, he felt a pang of realization. This was no ordinary update—it was something far more consequential.

Taking a moment to steady his breath, the dean calmed the racing beat of his heart. He knew that he needed to approach this with a clear mind. With a composed demeanor, he began to carefully read through the message, each word drawing him deeper into the implications of what lay ahead.

A few minutes passed as the dean absorbed the contents, his eyes narrowing in concentration. The seriousness of the situation gradually settled into his expression, lines of concern etched deeper into his aged face. Yet, mingling with the gravity of the message was a subtle sense of relief.

The message confirmed what he had only suspected—Vincent Carey, one of their most promising students, was being sent to study in a Super Large Nation. The name of the institution where Vincent would be placed flashed in his mind like a beacon.

“True Element Society,” the dean muttered under his breath, the words heavy with meaning. He knew of the academy’s formidable reputation. It was a place steeped in power, knowledge, and tradition—a sanctuary for those who sought to master the most profound and dangerous aspects of elemental magic.

As the dean considered this, a small measure of comfort began to settle over him. The seriousness of the situation could not be overstated; sending Vincent to such a prestigious and well-protected institution was a significant move. It meant that the Mage Union was taking no chances with his future, ensuring that he would be trained and safeguarded by one of the most powerful academies in the world.

In that moment, the dean felt a wave of reassurance. The complexities of Vincent’s potential, the dangers he faced, and the challenges that lay ahead were now in the hands of an institution capable of guiding and protecting him. The True Element Society was no ordinary academy—it was a bastion of strength where few dared to tread lightly.

“Hereafter, no one will trouble Vincent Carey,” the dean whispered to himself, the tension in his body easing slightly.

He knew that within the walls of the True Element Society, Vincent would be shielded from the political machinations and rivalries that plagued lesser institutions. There, he could grow and learn without the constant threat of interference from those who might seek to exploit or harm him.

With this thought, the dean’s resolve solidified. While the path ahead was fraught with uncertainty, he knew that Vincent was now in the best possible place to prepare for the challenges of the magical world. And that, at least, was one less burden for him to bear.
