Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective:

After our half-hour discussion, we decided it was time to leave. I felt a sense of relief, convinced that the worst was behind us. As we stepped out of the hall, the front was eerily quiet. Not a single wizard student was in sight. My eyes widened in surprise.

It dawned on me that the news must have spread quickly. Fear of punishment had likely kept everyone away. Carolina bid me farewell before heading off in her own direction. I glanced around the surrounding area, taking in the unusual silence, before following suit.

On my way back to the dorm, I couldn’t shake the feeling that the elder who had appeared earlier was somehow protecting me. The thought was both comforting and perplexing. I shook my head, trying to dismiss the idea as a figment of my imagination.

With a renewed sense of determination, I continued my journey.

Meanwhile:

The Transformation Hall Council Elders were taken aback by the Dean’s sudden summons. However, some of them had already guessed the reason. They ignored the behavior of their younger students, knowing that the Dean was about to address the recent events.

As time passed, the council elders arrived at the dean tower one by one. Once everyone was present, the old man dean began his inquiry into their recent actions as True Wizards.

He was aware that these individuals had turned a blind eye to the misconduct of their juniors. To his surprise, the council elders were more concerned about Craig Steel.

They demanded to know the truth behind the Steel Family’s capture, as many of the council elders had the backing of powerful Wizard Families.

The old man was unaware that these Wizard Families were exerting pressure on the council elders to uncover the truth. Only then would they remain silent. Otherwise, they would be forced to reconsider their alliance with the Yellow River Academy.

As the discussion continued, the council elders’ dissatisfaction grew. It didn’t take long for the old man Dean to realize that something was amiss.

To defuse the situation, he revealed a half-truth, claiming that the Steel Family had been responsible for killing many of their Wizard Seeds over the past decade.

Upon hearing this, the council elders fell silent. The news was so shocking that they were stunned. While the Magic Families behind them had also engaged in questionable activities, they had not reached such depths of cruelty.

Due to this revelation, the council elders decided to calm their True House Wizards and others. They believed that this information would be sufficient to alleviate the concerns of the families behind them.

…

The Meteor Supreme, aware of the limited time at his disposal, had taken decisive action. He had dispatched hired killers to the Capital City of Sand Rock Country.

His goal was clear: to eliminate Vincent Carey before he could become entangled in the Mage Union’s mysterious program.

The killers arrived in the late morning, knowing that their target was within the academy. However, they were not hasty. Their orders were simple: as long as Vincent Carey appeared in the Capital, they were to take him down.

In the meantime, they could freely explore the Capital City. Unlike other killers and dark wizards, these hired killers possessed legal identities. They moved about in broad daylight, indistinguishable from ordinary citizens.

But beneath their civilian facades, they carried out their deadly work. The killers were divided into two teams of five members each. Leading both teams was a powerful level-8 Wizard, while the remaining members were skilled level-7 Wizards.

These Wizards were superior to their average counterparts due to their exceptional understanding of rule power. Each of their magic spells was imbued with the potent effects of rule power.

The Meteor Supreme believed that previous attempts had failed due to improper execution. Had those forces demonstrated flawless skill, Vincent Carey would have been dead long ago.

Convinced that the old professionals could handle this task, he had chosen killers who could operate freely in daylight. Unlike the wanted criminals of the Dark League, these killers were not easily identifiable.

Both teams had begun to settle into the city, choosing different hotels to stay. As professionals, they would wait until their plans were meticulously laid out before taking action.

The Meteor Supreme had made a calculated decision not to inform the other two academies of his plans. Instead, he intended to release damaging information about them within a few hours, sowing chaos throughout the Capital.

He believed this would create a diversion, allowing his hired killers to operate more freely without attracting undue attention from the City Guards or other spies.

Whenever unknown Wizards of level-7 or higher appeared in the Capital, spies from various organizations would scramble to gather intelligence on them. This was a common practice everywhere, and the Meteor Supreme sought to avoid it.

A few hours later, as the city was still reeling from the Steel Family situation, a new wave of shock swept through the Capital.

Anonymous online posts began to circulate, detailing horrifying human body experiments conducted by two renowned academies: the Weapon Palace Academy and the Royal Force Hall Academy.

The news sent chills down everyone’s spines. Human body experimentation was strictly forbidden and associated with the most evil of wizards.

The idea that two major white faction academies had secretly engaged in such atrocities caused widespread panic among the citizens.

Shortly after, another bombshell dropped. An anonymous online post revealed the location of the Dark League Organization’s headquarters.

The headquarters was situated in a forbidden zone, a desolate region that had been depleted of resources centuries ago. No one could have imagined the Dark League would choose such a place as their base.

This revelation sent shockwaves across the country. The locals were terrified, unsure who was responsible for exposing such secrets.

The Royal Force Hall Academy was funded by the government, meaning the authorities were aware of their activities. This revelation was bound to cause internal friction within the country.

If the situation remains unresolved within a specific timeframe, there is a risk of mass exodus of the people.
