While I am in Reality, I Can Enter the Singularity Universe

93: Chapter 93 The war we inflicted on the East will be reenacted on the Empire’s own soil!”...Mr. Yuan, I will truthfully report your suggestion to Your Excellency Matsumoto. As for whether he will transmit it back to the Imperial General Headquarters, that is not something we can decide.”

Mr. Kameda pondered for a few moments, his expression serious as he said, ”We do not know what the future outcome of the Spiritual Energy Revival will be.”

”But the Super-Duty Bureau created by the East is already a fact.”

”The fact that this department can possess the power of ’act first, report later,’ not to mention breaking the basic departmental frameworks of government affairs for countries around the world, and that it was able to successfully pass the top-level motion in Yanjing, is enough to illustrate the severity of the issue!”

”I imagine that ’Your Excellency Matsumoto,’ the person in charge of the Empire within the East, will surely be extremely cautious and treat it with the utmost seriousness!”

Mr. Yuan stood up and bowed: ”Mr. Kameda, thank you for your understanding!”

Mr. Kameda took his hand off his handlebar mustache, stood up as well, and returned the bow, ”It is my honor to serve His Majesty the Emperor and the Empire with loyalty!”

The sounds of the secret conversation in this high-end, permanently closed residence soon faded.

After Mr. Yuan left, Mr. Kameda paced back and forth in the living room with his hands behind his back.

His brows were tightly furrowed, his eyes flickering, and after deep contemplation, he decided to personally go to the Empire’s embassy in Yanjing.

Situated in the East, they had secret satellite channels and various primitive Morse code transmissions.

But neither was secure; with the future of the Empire at stake, he had to choose the safest method!

”Prepare the vehicle. In ten minutes, I am going to the embassy to meet with Your Excellency Matsumoto.”

”Hai!”

Yanjing, East Third Ring Road.

Inside an eight-story building painted entirely with gray-black wall paint, Mr. Kameda was reporting respectfully to the expressionless Your Excellency Matsumoto on the sofa.

Beyond being the ambassador of the ”Island Nation” to the East, Your Excellency Matsumoto held another secret identity—Chief of the Island Nation’s Intelligence Bureau, Eastern Branch!

The information on the East collected by the Island Nation’s spies and various intelligence personnel would ultimately converge in the hands of Your Excellency Matsumoto, and he would decide how to handle the corresponding intelligence with full authority.

If it could not be handled, or if they encountered extremely urgent intelligence, it would be quickly transmitted back to the Empire for His Majesty the Emperor and the cabinet ministers to deal with.

”Mr. Kameda, I have already learned some of what you said through another channel, but it was not as complete or detailed.”

”This matter is extremely urgent. The head of the consulate in Xisha City, Xiangnan, just reported to me multiple times that the streets of Xisha are in a state of semi-martial law.”

”Armed guards are patrolling back and forth in armored personnel carriers, many companies have long since ceased operations, and most residents are staying at home, frantically consulting Daoist priests from old Daoist temples and high monks from Buddhist temples, seeking methods to step into the Transcendent.”

Your Excellency Matsumoto was burly, much more robust than the average person from the Island Nation, and there was a thick layer of calluses on the web of his hand; even as an ambassador, he still often practiced shooting.

Upon hearing Mr. Kameda’s report, Your Excellency Matsumoto’s brows furrowed slightly, but he was not overly surprised.

Clearly, he had anticipated some of this beforehand.

Your Excellency Matsumoto sat on a sofa with an elegant cherry blossom pattern and, unhurriedly, told Mr. Kameda a secret:

”Compared to the mindless rushing about of humans, the plants within Xiangnan are growing at a rapid pace—about six times faster than three days ago!”

”This is a terrifying figure!”

”It means that with the blessing of this characteristic, the growth cycles of food crops like wheat, rice, soybeans, and corn will drop significantly.”

”From planting the seeds to maturity, it will only take a short half-month!!”

”As for daily vegetables, they are growing even faster.”

”If you plant the leftover vegetable roots in the morning, by the next day, you will find they have grown a segment larger and can be picked and eaten.”

”Some citizens in Xisha City discovered this secret and planted vegetables in large flowerpots on their balconies that can be harvested every day; now, not only do they not need to buy vegetables, but they can also save time on shopping.”

Mr. Kameda listened in shock, feeling that reality had suddenly become so unfamiliar.

If he did not hold an important position, he would certainly have gone to Xiangnan himself to experience this so-called ”Spiritual Energy Revival.”

It was at this moment that Mr. Kameda saw Your Excellency Matsumoto’s tone pause, his expression becoming slightly solemn.

”The evolutionary growth of plants is still within the realm of cognition, but the animals in the natural world have exceeded ordinary human understanding.”

”Their body sizes have changed drastically, their temperaments have become violent, and there are signs of them attacking humans!”

”I just read a relayed report: a lion in a zoo in Xiangnan has had its fur turn fiery red, and its breathing from its mouth and nose looks like it is exhaling flames.”

”When staff opened the cage to feed it, it suddenly erupted, killed someone, leaped out of the cage, and fled into the wilderness outside the suburbs.”

”Also, at a horse farm in Xisha City, there is a small foal radiating colorful light, with white wings gradually growing on its back; it is suspected to have awakened the legendary ’Pegasus Bloodline’!!”

”A member of the Imperial consulate was watching the horse race at the time and wanted to pay a huge price to buy that magical little foal immediately after seeing it, but the owner of the horse farm did not agree.”

”After the horse race ended, they hurriedly closed the horse farm and stopped operations.”

”In addition, there have been multiple incidents in Xiangnan of household pets injuring people.”

”A woman was sleeping in her dream when her suddenly mutated pet cat slashed her throat and devoured her completely.”

Speaking of this, Your Excellency Matsumoto took a sip of tea and mentioned Mr. Kameda’s earlier words again, ”The Super-Duty Bureau is a special department formed by the East to deal with the Transcendent crisis.”

”The fact that it could be established in advance already indicates that the Spiritual Energy Revival is not a sudden arrival without warning, but that some kind of major hidden curtain exists!”

”Right now, only Xiangnan in the East has entered the Spiritual Energy Revival, but this trend has not stopped.”

”As time passes, the Spiritual Energy Revival will eventually cover the entire land of the East.”

”By then, no matter what massive changes have occurred in Yanjing, it will not be a good thing for our Empire!”

”Because when one Cultivates the Transcendent to a certain level, they can truly withstand nuclear weapons head-on!!”

”Not to mention, the Empire does not yet possess nuclear weapons in the true sense of the word!!”

Unlike Mr. Kameda, Your Excellency Matsumoto was a genuine ”East Expert.”

He had studied abroad in the East as an exchange student since he was young and was quite clear about the myths and legends on this ancient land.

He even had a hobby in his spare time: learning ”Feng Shui and Divination” from old Daoist priests in the Daoist temples around Yanjing.

Regarding the Spiritual Energy Revival in myths, he understood it even more and more comprehensively than the average person in the East.

Your Excellency Matsumoto continued, ”There is a blood feud between the East and the Empire.”

”If a large number of ordinary people in the East are allowed to embark on the path of the Transcendent, do you know what fate awaits the Empire?”

”What we once inflicted upon the East will be re-enacted here, on our own soil!”

”As for international law and the constraints between major powers? Heh, nuclear weapons are useless, so will powerful Transcendents listen to the ghost-deceiving rhetoric of politicians from various countries?”

”No!”

”They will not only refuse to listen, but they will also ’occupy other countries,’ achieving the ultimate dream that has existed on this land since ancient times—’Are kings and nobles born with high status?’”

”By then, powerful Transcendents of the East will control the government affairs of all countries in the world from behind the scenes.”

”Will there be light in the whole world? Yes!”

”But this light is for the people of the East; for other countries around the world... it is a dark cage more terrifying than Hell!”

One shocking scene after another entered Mr. Kameda’s ears from the mouth of Your Excellency Matsumoto.

Mr. Kameda’s face turned waxy white, sweat poured endlessly from his forehead, and his short body was trembling!
