82: Chapter 82 Major Departmental Restructuring! The Security Department Recruits 500 Elite Personnel!Otherwise, she could just cash out and leave; why waste energy playing games with this bunch?

Seeing through things without exposing them, and utilizing each other—that is the most brilliant approach.

Soon, the Board of Directors meeting concluded.

As a listed group, changes in board seats naturally need to be publicly announced.

Once the ”Announcement Regarding Changes to the Board of Directors of Kangning Pharmaceutical Group (Shanghai)” was released, it immediately caused a minor earthquake in the Hong Kong stock market.

Many people were speculating about what exactly happened inside Kangning Pharmaceutical Group that led to seven people withdrawing their shares at once.

Could it be that those seven were forcibly kicked out due to internal strife?

But just as many investors were looking to sell their Kangning Pharmaceutical Group stock, another announcement immediately caused a huge uproar!

”Latest Announcement Regarding the Resolution Passed by the Board of Directors of Kangning Pharmaceutical Group (Shanghai) [Capital Increase of 20 Billion by Shareholding]”

”...Damn, is this Kangning Pharmaceutical Group trying to fly to the sky??”

”The market value is only over 40 billion, and they’re increasing capital by 20 billion at once?”

”Is this a sign of taking off, or just another massive scam to fleece the leeks?”

”Fellow leeks, are we going all-in or jumping ship?”

”Jumping ship? Are you kidding! Who would sell at a time like this? You should be rushing to buy!”

”Forget about whether Kangning Pharmaceutical Group is fleecing the leeks; this 20 billion capital increase is the real deal!”

”According to the situation of normal pharmaceutical companies, the market value of Kangning Pharmaceutical Group should at least double to be considered a normal standard!”

”Staff, buy me all the Kangning Pharmaceutical Group stock!”

”I’m buying Kangning Pharmaceutical Group too!”

”Don’t fight me for it; I’ve got 5 million in cash, and I’m going all-in on Kangning Pharmaceutical Group!”

”...”

Inside the Hong Kong stock trading hall, following the appearance of the two announcements, Kangning Pharmaceutical Group became the ”darling” of the stock market today!

Various small capital groups, private equity firms, and retail investors were buying Kangning Pharmaceutical Group stock frantically.

Visibly, by the end of trading in the afternoon, the market value of Kangning Pharmaceutical Group had gone from over 40 billion to over 50 billion!

In just three or four hours, nearly 10 billion in funds had flowed in!

This shows just how resounding the storm caused by the capital increase of Kangning Pharmaceutical Group was.

The stock market volatility did not attract much attention from Kangning Pharmaceutical Group.

At this moment, even though it was past seven o’clock, the Kangning Pharmaceutical Group building in the city center of Shanghai was still brightly lit.

Whether willing or not, all staff were working overtime tonight, and the person who issued this order was none other than the group’s new Chairman Song Rui!

A small conference room on the top floor of the building.

The heads of the group’s various departments and managers of the subsidiaries were all in attendance, totaling about twenty people.

Their expressions were solemn as they flipped through the materials in their hands, waiting for the person at the head of the table to arrive.

Creak!

The door to the small conference room opened, and Chairman Song Rui, wearing a black tight-fitting tulle dress and looking like a cold, glamorous queen, stepped in wearing high heels.

Everyone stood up immediately, not daring to show the slightest emotion.

”Sit.”

With just one simple word from Chairman Song Rui, everyone sat down in unison.

They sat up straight, their gazes fixed on Chairman Song Rui, waiting for her to speak.

Although it was their first time meeting this new big boss, her track record of ”slaughtering all sides” at the Board of Directors meeting had spread widely in private.

Seven shareholders had been ruthlessly kicked out; they were just a bunch of Advanced employees, so how could they dare to say a word?

”Chairman Song, shall I report on the group’s revenue for this quarter first?”

Manager Feng Rong pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses. With hair gel in his hair, he looked very energetic but asked Chairman Song Rui at the head of the table tentatively, trembling with fear.

”No need.”

Chairman Song Rui denied him, taking out a few personnel forms from her designer bag worth millions, and began checking them against the people present.

Ten minutes later, Chairman Song Rui picked up a pen, made marks on the personnel list, and crossed out five people.

Immediately, she handed the personnel form to Manager Feng Rong and said coldly:

”These five are all good-for-nothings, fire them all!”

”Gulp... Yes, Chairman Song, I will arrange it immediately!”

Seeing the names of the five, even Manager Feng Rong couldn’t help but swallow hard.

These were the heads of the group’s five major departments, and they were being fired just like that?

Among them were the Marketing Manager, the Human Resources Manager, the Finance Manager...!

Of course, in front of the big boss, Manager Feng Rong knew his place.

Without the slightest hesitation, in front of all the senior executives, he directly announced the Board of Directors meeting decision and fired those five on the spot!

The five executives were pale, offered no verbal struggle, and left the room with slightly unsteady steps.

They all understood that the five of them were not fired due to a lack of ability, but rather... because they participated in the previous case of ”embezzling over 4 billion in group funds”!

No matter how capable Fatty Yang and that minor shareholder were, could they have embezzled group funds behind the backs of the nine shareholders without the support of some senior executives in important departments below?

Everyone present knew this clearly; it was just that Chairman Song Rui chose to use these five as an example.

With years of experience as a general manager of listed companies, Chairman Song Rui knew very well that there were many people involved, and even Manager Feng Rong might have been involved!

However, time was tight, and Chairman Song Rui did not have the energy to dig deeper.

She could only cut the Gordian knot, dealing with one batch, promoting another, and reusing a third, while waiting to see the effects of the others later.

If they refused to repent, it wouldn’t be as simple as firing them; spending the rest of their lives in prison would be the least of it!

After all, with the resurgence of the extraordinary and the arrival of a great era, the least valuable thing was precisely human life!

Seeing the remaining executives looking terrified, Chairman Song Rui spoke again in a calm tone:

”Raise the level of the Security Department by one rank. From now on, the Security Department Manager’s compensation will be on par with Manager Feng Rong’s.”

”Additionally, there is no need to listen to anyone else’s instructions; only follow my orders!”

”Understood!”

He Yingtang immediately stood up from his corner, his expression showing a hint of excitement, and he saluted Chairman Song Rui with a loud voice.

He Yingtang was a veteran, tall and sturdy, and as a graduate of a key university, he had easily become the Security Department Manager of Kangning Pharmaceutical Group.

Originally, he thought he was just here to make up the numbers today.

The Security Department only had about a hundred people, and there was nothing major to do daily; just standing guard and patrolling the building floors.

He didn’t expect that this promotion would suddenly fall on him?!

The department level raised by one rank, deputy general manager compensation—this was simply more terrifying than riding a rocket!

In the past, he was a manager, yes, but his compensation was relatively not high; he didn’t even earn as much as some deputy directors of important departments!

Unlike He Yingtang’s excitement, the other executives all frowned slightly.

Their group’s main business was pharmaceuticals, not providing security services to others. How could a small Security Department have its level raised to ”Deputy General Manager level”?

No one dared to question it; they didn’t even dare to take a deep breath, and could only stand straight, waiting for Chairman Song Rui to continue.

”There are too few personnel in the Security Department, and they are all a bunch of old men. This does not fit the company’s upcoming strategic arrangements.”

Chairman Song Rui looked at He Yingtang and ordered:

”I want you to fire all security guards who do not meet the physical standards within three days.”

”And in Shanghai and the surrounding urban areas, re-recruit a team of five hundred physically robust elite bodyguards, with veterans given priority!”

”Chairman Song, three days... this...”

He Yingtang’s face stiffened, and the corners of his mouth trembled.

He thought to himself, he had been a deputy general manager for less than a minute—surely he wasn’t going to be removed already, right?

”I know what you are worried about; don’t worry about the salary.”

”From now on, as long as the security guards meet the company’s requirements, their salaries will all be doubled, other benefits will be paid in full, and there will be regular internal ’martial arts competitions’ with ranking rewards—the first place prize is up to 10 million!”

Hiss!!

Hearing this, everyone gasped, their eyes wide open, looking at each other as if they thought they had misheard!

A pharmaceutical company holding a major martial arts competition, and the first place gets a 10 million bonus??

Honestly, it made even these executives, who usually couldn’t walk a few steps, feel moved, with an urge to participate.

”Chairman Song, I guarantee to complete your requirements within three days!”

”Mm.”

Chairman Song Rui nodded with satisfaction.

Compared to other departments, she valued the Security Department the most.

In the era of the extraordinary, it is survival of the fittest; only force is the most critical factor that determines everything!

Otherwise, no matter how many resources one has, they are just fat sheep that can be plundered by others at will.

In her plan, this was only the first change to the Security Department.

Subsequently, she would also massively expand the Security Department’s personnel and carry out reorganization and training for them!

Only in this way could she lay the foundation for the major force she wanted to establish!

After a long time, the executive meeting concluded.

Chairman Song Rui adjusted all departments based on her own vision and doubled everyone’s salary again.

After finishing all this, it was already nine o’clock in the evening.

Leaving behind some staff on duty, Chairman Song Rui arranged for everyone to get off work.
