Chapter 2630: Chapter 2630: Check In

Yu Qi also did not want her grandfather’s decades of hard work to crumble because of incompetent or poor successors.

Grandpa Mu fell into deep thought for a moment before finally nodding. ”You are right.”

He decided that he would try Yu Qi’s method when he returned to Fanghai Nation later. As for now, he simply wanted to enjoy his time here with his precious granddaughter.

After dinner, Yu Qi personally sent Grandpa Mu back to the hotel. The next morning, she planned to bring Grandpa Mu to Saisei Ryokan to enjoy the hot spring. She wanted to spend more time with Grandpa Mu.

When she returned home, she immediately checked her phone. She had received a lot of notifications. When she clicked on them, she saw that she had gone viral once again. She continued checking to find out what the issue was this time.

It was because of her exchange with that stranger at the airport. Since she had rejected his advances, the man wanted to tarnish her name online.

However, when he learned of Yu Qi’s identity, he quickly deleted the initial post and uploaded an apology video regarding the matter.

Yu Qi smirked as she read it. Well, she knew that this man was apologising only because of her identity. If she had been a nobody, he would not have bothered to apologise or delete the original post. He probably intended to ruin her reputation by posting her picture with the old man.

Yu Qi did not care much about the man and simply let the netizens do the talking.

...

Before Yu Qi left for Saisei Ryokan with Grandpa Mu, Grandpa Mu told Yu Qi to stop by the Tang Residence. He wanted to see Grandpa Tang.

Grandpa Mu exchanged pleasantries with Grandpa Tang for a while. Then, Grandpa Tang asked where Grandpa Mu would be going. Grandpa Mu told him that he would be going to Saisei Ryokan for some relaxation with Yu Qi.

When Grandpa Tang heard about this, he also wanted to tag along. Grandpa Mu did not mind at all and was even delighted that he would have a companion to enjoy the hot spring together.

With that, Yu Qi, Grandpa Mu, Grandpa Tang, and Pei Xian headed to Shiwa Town. Pei Xian was Grandpa Tang’s bodyguard, so he had to follow him. As for Grandpa Mu, he also had his own bodyguards accompanying him, but they were not visible to others, unlike Yu Qi’s bodyguards.

After driving for three hours, they finally arrived at Saisei Ryokan. The receptionist was visibly surprised to see her own big boss in person.

”Chairwoman Tang.” The receptionist greeted Yu Qi while bowing her head to a full 90 degrees.

”There is no need to bow like this. I have already contacted Manager Chui that I will be staying here for three days. Are my rooms available right now? I would also like to add two more rooms.” Yu Qi said.

The receptionist immediately checked the system. Yu Qi’s room and one additional room were available. However, as for the extra room that she had just requested, it was not available at the moment.

”I am sorry, Chairwoman Tang. The other rooms are fully booked. Manager Chui only reserved two rooms as requested earlier.” The receptionist explained.

”We can share a room together.” Grandpa Mu suggested the idea.

”Really? Do you mind?” Grandpa Tang asked, feeling a little surprised.

”It is not like we are going to share a bed.” Grandpa Mu laughed.

”Then it is settled. Now, it is Brother Pei’s arrangement.” Yu Qi said as she began thinking of a solution.

”I will go and stay at Master Tang’s old house here.” Pei Xian stated calmly.

”Oh... that’s right. I do have a house here. Song Nan is probably still living there.” Grandpa Tang suddenly remembered.

Song Nan had been living at Grandpa Tang’s house here ever since Grandpa Tang moved to FINN City to stay with his family. The Godly Herbs shop was still open and was being managed by Song Nan. The herbs were supplied by YQ Greenhouse.

”Then it is settled.” Yu Qi said.

The receptionist quickly checked them in. After that, they went to their respective rooms to put away their belongings. Yu Qi then went to Grandpa Mu’s room and invited the two old men to take a walk around the place.

It was Grandpa Mu’s first time visiting this establishment, and he could not help but praise Yu Qi for her amazing work.

”This is one of the first businesses that I was involved in. It took almost two years before it finally became operational.” Yu Qi recalled the memories.

”Brother Guang Qi... you know, when this girl first told me that she wanted to buy this land, I truly could not understand what she was thinking at that time. Only when she called the authorities to inspect the hot spring did I realise that she had already planned much further ahead than all of us.” Grandpa Tang said with a laugh as he reminisced.

”Well... I accidentally discovered one hot spring during my time searching for wild herbs and vegetables. So, I thought there might be more. That was why I wanted to buy the land.” Yu Qi said, laughing as well.

”I also remember when I asked her what she wanted to be in the future. She told me that she wanted to become both a doctor and a businesswoman. Then, she caught the attention of my friend, Feng Mong.” Grandpa Tang said.

”I have learned a lot from Grandpa Feng.” Yu Qi nodded.

”If only I had known about your existence earlier...” Grandpa Mu sighed softly.
