Global Evolution: I Create Items in the Apocalypse and Become a God

Chapter 36 Becoming Bigger and StrongerChapter 36 Becoming Bigger and Stronger
”Teacher Huang, you don’t really want to help them, do you?”

Chu Anqin frowned, having a bad feeling in his heart. Could this teacher be the legendary Virgin Mary?

Teacher Huang was in a low mood. He looked at the three skinny people over there and sighed, ”They are a family of three. That child is my student.”

”Teacher Huang, it’s not that I don’t want to help. You can see the current situation in the world. I also eat one meal and starve one meal.”

Even if he was Mr. Huang’s student, Chu Anqin felt that there was no need to help him. They were just relatives to him, and he thought he was running a charity.

”Brother Chu, I don’t know how many materials you need. Can you ask them to join the team to collect materials?”

Teacher Huang was silent for a moment, then came up with a plan that sounded reasonable.

After hearing this, Chu Anqin’s eyes lit up. Teacher Huang’s words reminded him.

Currently, there are only Huang Hao, Teacher Huang and Wang Dazhuang helping him collect materials. The progress is good, but it is far from reaching his goal.

Wouldn’t it be a better idea to make use of all the survivors in the community and directly form a team to help him search for materials?

’It feels a bit like running a company and being the boss.’

Chu Anqin stared at Teacher Huang’s eyes and said in a deep voice: ”Teacher Huang, aren’t you afraid that they will take your job? There shouldn’t be many materials left in the community that haven’t been searched.”

In the past few days, Mr. Huang and Wang Dazhuang have been reporting that they cannot find materials in the community and want to go out to collect them, but there are many alien species outside and they cannot conduct frequent raids like in the community, so the risk factor is very high.

Upon hearing this, Teacher Huang fell silent again. She knew very well that there were too many people and too little food, but she couldn’t bear to watch her students starve to death.

”I have an idea. Teacher Huang, would you like to hear it?”

”Brother Chu, you said.”

”You can develop them into your subordinates and let them help you collect supplies. You can then use the materials to exchange for food from me.”

Chu Anqin thought about it and felt that directly absorbing these people was not a good idea, but it would definitely be very troublesome to manage them. It would be better to let Teacher Huang be a middleman, and he only needed to connect with Teacher Huang.

”Hmm.” Teacher Huang raised his eyebrows and immediately understood what Chu Anqin meant.

”Brother Chu, this is a good idea. I thank you on behalf of Zhang Wei’s family.”

As long as it can help this family of three and prevent them from starving to death on the streets, Teacher Huang is willing to do it.

As for whether he could make them obedient, Teacher Huang was not worried at all. He was a teacher and was good at instilling ideas.

Chu Anqin looked at the family of three from afar. The boy who was about thirteen or fourteen years old should be Zhang Wei, a student of Teacher Huang.

”Mr. Huang, don’t thank me yet. There is something else I need you to do.”

He paused and looked around to confirm whether there were any alien species nearby. After all, this place was very close to the entrance and exit of the community, and was the place where alien species appeared most frequently.

”Brother Chu, just go ahead and say it.” The gloom on Teacher Huang’s face disappeared and he looked much more relaxed.

”It’s like this. If you and Wang Dazhuang meet other survivors in the future, you can develop them into your subordinates and let them help you collect materials.”

Chu Anqin expressed his true thoughts. At present, even including Zhang Wei’s family of three, there are only six people helping him collect materials. This can only be a small team, and the collection speed is far from enough.

Since we want to become bigger and stronger, then we should go for the bigger one.

When Mr. Huang heard this, he looked worried again: ”Will it be difficult to manage if there are too many people? And the materials in the community...”

Before she finished speaking, Chu Anqin raised his hand to interrupt:

“Don’t worry, I will soon clear out several streets near the community and eliminate the mad animals, also known as alien species, that are roaming around. Then you won’t have to limit yourself to the community and can completely expand the search area.

Moreover, I will continue to sweep the nearby alien species, expand the safe area, and ensure your safety, provided that you can help me collect materials. ” Chu Anqin finished speaking, staring into Teacher Huang’s eyes, he wanted to hear any good suggestions from this teacher.

Teacher Huang was shocked and couldn’t react:

”Brother Chu wants to clear out the alien species in the nearby streets? Is that too dangerous?”

”Then Mr. Huang doesn’t need to worry about it. Mr. Huang just needs to help me expand the team to collect materials. How about that?”

Teacher Huang originally just wanted to help her student Zhang Wei’s family, but now, Chu Anqin also asked her to continue to expand the team.

However, she has been a teacher for several years and has taught many students. She doesn’t have much experience in managing people, but she can still apply it.

She thought, ”Of course, as long as we can search outside the community, Coach Dazhuang and I won’t have to worry about not finding materials. But Brother Chu, we can’t have every survivor join the team, human nature is unpredictable.”

Teacher Huang is not a saint. She just can’t bear to see her student’s family starve to death. On the contrary, she doesn’t have much sympathy for other people.

Having experienced betrayal by her companions and humiliation by bad guys, her heart is actually cold, and she knows how terrible human nature is after the apocalypse.

”It’s up to you, Mr. Huang, to judge for yourself.”

Chu Anqin knew what Teacher Huang was worried about, but he didn’t want to worry about these things. If anyone dared to have bad intentions, he would not be merciful.

”Okay, that’s it.”

He waved his hand and walked towards Wang Dongfu. When he got closer, he looked at Zhang Wei’s family. They were skin and bones, with prominent cheekbones, and looked almost as miserable as when he first came into this world.

”Boss Chu, please take me with you. I just saw a really big bird and a big yellow and white dog. I was scared to death. There are so many monsters in the neighborhood recently.”

Wang Dazhuang saw Chu Anqin coming and hurried over to flatter him:
”Boss Chu, did you kill the big yellow and white dog, and the big bird?”

”Boss, you are awesome!”

Without caring whether Chu Anqin paid attention to him or not, Wang Dazhuang started asking and answering himself.

”Stop it, Coach Wang. I think you have some nice muscular body. Next time I fight monsters, I’ll bring you with me and let you be a meat shield!” Chu Anqin replied unhappily.

Wang Dazhuang’s face darkened, he scratched his head and said, ”I’m just talking nonsense, don’t take it seriously, I don’t want to be eaten alive by a monster!”

When he thought of the brutality of those monsters, he shuddered again.

”Haha, Coach Wang is quite humorous.” Wang Dongfu looked at the muscular man with a smile, his tone somewhat unfriendly.

Since Xiaoya doesn’t like Wang Dazhuang, he originally thought that Xiaoya was young and couldn’t judge people accurately, so he told Xiaoya not to say bad things about people behind their backs. Now it seems that this fitness coach is really... It’s hard to describe.

”Teacher Huang, I’ll leave the matter of expanding the staff to you.”

Chu Anqin picked up the alien flesh and equipment and said to Wang Dongfu: ”Brother Wang, let’s go on.”

Although Wang Dongfu has already gained some basic proficiency in controlling electricity, he still needs more actual combat experience, and perhaps he can develop new combat techniques.

”Teacher Huang, expanding the staff? What were you talking about with Boss Chu just now? It was so mysterious.”

As soon as Chu Anqin and Wang Dongfu left, Wang Dazhuang asked Teacher Huang impatiently.

Teacher Huang smiled slightly and did not respond to Wang Dazhuang. Instead, he took out some food from his pocket and said to Zhang Wei, ”Student Zhang Wei, are you hungry?”
