Global Evolution: I Create Items in the Apocalypse and Become a God

Chapter 10: The unfired gun is scaryChapter 10: The unfired gun is scary

Chu Anqin looked a little depressed and ran down from the tenth floor in one breath.

He was reluctant to give away the three compressed biscuits he had just given away, but how could he have the nerve to ask for them back after he had given them away.

How could I be so easily moved? I exchanged a bowl of cowhide belt soup for three compressed biscuits.

What a loss!
Let’s go and find some food to heal my wounded heart.

Chu Anqin guessed from the man’s few words that several nearby buildings should have been searched and it was unlikely that supplies would be found.

Holding a metal spear and a crowbar, he quickly crossed several concrete paths and looked up at the building number on the outer wall of the building.

”Number 15, start from this building and keep looking.”

He gave three compressed biscuits to the man and the girl, but after adding what he had consumed over the past few days, he only had six compressed biscuits left.

With a piece of high-energy rations and more than a pound of rice, he can last another ten to fifteen days.

Right now, the most important thing is to find food and gunpowder to make bullets. The only thing missing to unlock the next page is bullets.

”There’s dust at the door, no footprints, and the door lock has been pried open. Next house.”

After searching several buildings, Chu Anqin has mastered some technical rules.

By observing the situation at the door, one can directly determine whether the house has been searched and the possibility of the existence of supplies inside.

Check the houses you searched quickly, and stay a little longer for the houses you didn’t search.

Through this simple identification method, he was able to search buildings very quickly, finishing one building within half an hour.

The only thing that made him a little overwhelmed was that going up and down the stairs non-stop was somewhat exhausting.

This body was already malnourished, and after several ordeals, he was out of breath and his legs felt a little weak.

”Take a break”

Chu Anqin hid in a house, took out a bottle of water, and drank a few gulps. Only then did his pounding heart slowly slow down.

He searched most of the buildings in the west area of the community and found two boxes of anti-inflammatory drugs, a bottle of painkillers, and a bottle of disinfectant alcohol, but no food at all.

As it was getting dark, Chu Anqin prepared to go home after searching the building.

”go!”

He took all his equipment and explored up the stairs one level at a time.

”It’s unlikely that we’ll find food in the West District. Looks like we’ll have to look for it in the East District tomorrow.”

On the tenth floor, two young men were acting stealthy, one had blond hair and the other was tall and skinny.

”Yellow Hair, he’s coming up.”

”Okay, wait for him to come up, then you go to the ninth floor and block him.”

After searching the two rooms on the ninth floor, Chu Anqin took a breath and climbed towards the tenth floor.

”Finish your work early and go home early!”

However, when he entered the corridor and had just climbed halfway, he saw a person standing at the entrance of the corridor on the tenth floor.

He has yellow hair, holding a machete in his hand, and looks like a gangster.

Chu Anqin was startled and his nerves immediately tensed up. The yellow-haired man looked like he was waiting for him to come up.

At this time, there was movement at the staircase on the ninth floor, and a thin young man was blocking the exit.

The young man had a tattoo on his neck and was playing with an iron baseball bat in his hand, looking at his schoolbag with a playful look.

”Oh no, these two people are waiting for me!”

The one with yellow hair on top and the young man with tattoos on the bottom, it is obvious that they have bad intentions.

”Kid, leave everything on you behind.” The tattooed young man suddenly shouted.

Chu Anqin leaned against the staircase wall, his left hand tightly gripping the pry tool, his right hand already reaching into his pocket to take out a rapid-fire pistol.

He wanted to draw out the metal spear from behind, but the yellow-haired and tattooed young man slowly approached, and it was obviously too late.

”You two, I have no food.”

Being attacked from both sides, Chu Anqin’s palms were sweating. He was just an ordinary person, how could he beat two young thugs?

”It’s okay, just throw your schoolbag and weapons over here and we’ll let you go.”

The yellow-haired man deliberately slammed the machete against the metal handrail of the stairs, again and again, and a harsh sound echoed in the corridor.

Clang!
Clang!
The yellow-haired man was playing a psychological tactic, trying to scare Chu Anqin by making such a harsh sound and break through his psychological defenses.

Chu Anqin was indeed very scared, and every sound seemed to hit his heart.

”You two, I really have no food. My schoolbag is empty.”

He was afraid of the two men, and they also didn’t dare to get too close to him. After all, his equipment, crowbar and spear were very intimidating.

The tattooed young man was impatient and shouted at the top of his voice: ”Stop talking nonsense and put your things down, otherwise don’t blame me for being rude.” ”You’re welcome, why are you rude?”

Chu Anqin suddenly pulled out his rapid-fire pistol, pointed the tip of the gun at the young man who had signed his name, and then pointed it at the yellow-haired man.

”I’ll kill anyone who comes over here!”

A rapid-fire pistol has no bullets. Whether you can scare people depends on how well you act.

The tattooed young man’s expression changed from shock to ferocious, and he shouted angrily: ”Who are you trying to scare? Take a toy gun!”

The yellow-haired man stared at the muzzle of the gun, and a chill ran down from the soles of his feet.

He had a feeling that this gun was not a toy gun but a real thing.

”Skin peeling, don’t be impulsive!” Skin peeling refers to young people with tattoos.

Baopi was just about to rush over when he was frightened by Huangmao’s shout and almost fell down.

”Is it a real gun?” Paopi realized something was wrong.

He is just a small gangster, but Huangmao is different. He has followed the big brother and has seen the real thing.

”What, are you scared?”

Seeing that the rapid-fire pistol had achieved its deterrent effect, Chu Anqin immediately took advantage of the situation and pursued him, pointing the gun at Ba Pi’s head.

”No, no, brother, don’t get excited!”

Paopi was so frightened that he stepped back consciously and hid behind the security door from the ninth floor stairs.

Seeing this, Chu Anqin quickly moved his pace, walked down the stairs step by step, walked to the corridors between the ninth and eighth floors, and escaped from the two people’s blockade.

Huangmao kept his distance and followed along to join Baopi.

Chu Anqin pointed his gun at the two people. Although they had escaped from the encirclement, the crisis was not over.

”Don’t follow me, bullets don’t have eyes!”

He warned again, and went down the stairs at a gradually increasing speed.

8th floor, 7th floor, 6th floor
It was not until he reached the first floor that he breathed a sigh of relief. Huangmao and Baopi did not chase him down.

He realized that it was scarier when a gun was not fired.

However, finding gunpowder to make bullets was imminent.

Chu Anqin ran out of the building, his back was already wet with sweat, and the wind felt a little cold on his body.

What he feared most was that the two young men were brainless and would rush after him with their ruthlessness.

Fortunately, the yellow-haired guy had some good eyesight and helped him escape successfully.

”Is it a real gun?” Paopi wiped the sweat from his forehead and asked the yellow-haired man.

”It’s almost certain. The gun has a silencer on the muzzle. It’s unlikely that a toy gun would have that.” The yellow-haired man said with lingering fear.

”Damn, how come he has a real thing? Where did he get it?”

”I don’t know. Let’s be more careful next time.”

”Brother Huang, do you want to find out where he lives and then steal his gun?”

”Go and die by yourself, don’t drag me along with you.”

Huangmao didn’t want to cause trouble, and Chu Anqin’s equipment made him a little scared.

Pistols and metal rifles are powerful weapons, and crowbars are very professional tools. Chu Anqin gives people the feeling that he is not simple.

Paopi curled his lips, a barely perceptible look of hostility flashed across the corners of his eyes, and his gaze was fixed in the direction where Chu Anqin left.

Chu Anqin quickly left the building. It was getting dark and he had to go home quickly.

”There are many hidden talents in this neighborhood. We must be cautious in the future.”

Today’s experience was extremely dangerous. If it weren’t for the rapid-fire pistol that scared the two men off, having our supplies and equipment robbed would have been a minor matter. We might even have lost our lives, and that would have been a complete disaster.

Chu Anqin returned home, locked the door, threw his equipment aside, and fell heavily on the sofa.

”It’s still comfortable at home.”

He took a short nap on the sofa and finally relaxed.

”Equipment, Strength”

Chu Anqin called up the panel and locked his mind on the unlocking conditions.

His desire for gunpowder had reached an uncontrollable point. Gunpowder was like a thorn stuck in his throat, making him extremely uncomfortable.

Without gunpowder, he cannot make bullets. Without bullets, the rapid-fire pistol is just a decoration and will be exposed sooner or later, and he will never be able to unlock the next page.

”Go to the store at the entrance of the community tomorrow!”
