Star Lord: Rob the alien race and you will get a hundred times the reward

Chapter 83: Advancement to Level 4 PsychicChapter 83: Advancement to Level Psychic

Under the leadership of Zhu Jianqiao, the research progress of the Biology Department was inspected and the results were indeed encouraging. If necessary, cannon fodder can be bred on a large scale for use.

However, the performance data of the biological battleship of the Bonucci Empire is indeed not very good. Its advantage is that it can jump short distances and cultivate quickly. The energy-absorbing gene allows the cultivated battleship embryos to absorb the energy needed for growth by basking in the sun. After they grow up, they can also maintain operation by devouring dark energy in the void.

The disadvantages are also obvious: slow navigation speed, short jump distance, higher combat endurance time within the star system than in the void, weak defense and weak attack power.

Compared with warships of the same level of civilization, the data of biological warships are not even as good as civilian warships, and they are naturally far behind the Weiwu-class battleships. One Weiwu-class battleship can easily defeat a team of biological warships.

”The performance of the biological battleship still needs to be improved. The current performance data is too poor, and the energy utilization rate is less than 50%. Don’t we have void creatures to cultivate? We can get some genes from them to optimize the biological battleship.” Liu Wen knew that Zhu Jianqiao was waiting for him to say this, so he said it directly.

Sure enough, Zhu Jianqiao smiled immediately after hearing this, and the two accompanying biological researchers also smiled at each other. They could finally collect the genes of star creatures openly, and no matter how much those Marines treasured them, they had to let them go.

After checking the various construction issues in the Bonucci star system, Liu Wen returned directly to the Xinghai star system to continue his practice. He was already very close to the standard of a fourth-level psychic.

Visualize the mother planet, refine spiritual energy, learn scientific knowledge, and handle territory affairs.

Liu Wen’s schedule is packed every day, fulfilling and busy.

A month later, Liu Wen’s spiritual clone in the second world and his body in the main universe cultivated synchronously, and the total amount of spiritual energy reached 805. The spiritual power increased synchronously, making the spiritual energy as easy to control as one’s arms. When he gathered the spiritual energy, only very slight fluctuations in spiritual energy appeared.

Fatty Blue and Jack Frog were standing outside the training room, waiting for Liu Wen’s promotion with a bit of nervousness.

Although the spiritual training route they chose poses little danger when advancing to level four, accidents may still occur and lead to mental damage.

Moreover, Liu Wen had said that he was planning to practice Shintoism as well, in order to purify spiritual energy and train mental strength. It was somewhat dangerous to advance to the fourth level of demigod in Shintoism. If one was not careful, one would injure the mind and would need at least half a year of recuperation to recover.

The little fox looked at the closed door of the training room with worry, and asked Frog: ”Frog, is it really safe to advance to level four?”

Among the few people, Wa Zai trusted Liu Wen the most, so he said confidently: ”Don’t worry, it’s just a promotion to a fourth-level psychic. The boss will be able to handle it quickly.”

Maomao also asked, ”Frog, how did you feel when you were promoted to a Level 4 Psychic?”

Frog tilted his head and said, ”It feels great. I easily condensed the psychic core and completed the qualitative change. Now my psychic core is almost completely refining all the psychic energy. When the psychic energy is refined, I can refine the body cells to reach level five.”

Fatty Blue and Jack looked at each other and saw embarrassment in each other’s eyes. Both of them were still far from level four. Compared with Frog’s talent and Liu Wen’s diligence, the two of them felt like they were lagging behind.

However, when the two saw the little fox and the cat who had just reached the second-level psychic, they suddenly felt a little superior. These two were the real drag, working for three days and resting for two days, forcing Liu Wen to almost watch over them in their practice every day.

The reason they can now practice to level two is because Liu Wen bought a few robot butlers, who would send them to the practice room for forced practice at a certain time. They would be locked inside for less than two hours of practice every day, which forced them to make some progress. However, due to their race, their aptitude for practicing psychic powers was indeed a little lacking.

Under the same conditions, the spiritual energy that Frog can refine is ten, while Liu Wen can refine seven, Jack can refine six, Fatty Blue can refine four, and the little fox and the cat can refine only two.

The gap is very obvious, which is one of the reasons why the two are not keen on practicing psychic powers. They both want to take the path of genetic enhancement, which is simple, fast and rough. The only disadvantage is that genetic enhancement also requires physical and mental support. The first three levels of enhancement are very simple, but you have to give up at the fourth level, not to mention that there are very few level 7 enhancers in human territory, because humans do not have a level 7 biological civilization. The relevant medicines have to be purchased from the Interstellar Alliance, but things of this level are no longer simply bought with money. You need to make a certain contribution to the Interstellar Alliance.

Liu Wen, who was sitting cross-legged in the training room, was unaware of the concerns of the people outside. He was now concentrating on adjusting his own state.

The conventional way for a level three psychic to advance to level four is to use mental power and psychic energy to fuse into a core, similar to the process of gas forming a star. The core is condensed together through powerful pressure, allowing the psychic energy to be forcibly purified and compressed.

This level is actually not difficult. As long as you learn the scientific knowledge well and have the assistance of equipment, and use strong and weak forces as a balance, it can be easily achieved.

Liu Wen slowly mobilized the spiritual energy in his body, mobilized the spiritual energy that had been integrated into the cells to circulate in his body, and then gradually gathered together in his chest.

Several devices on both sides of the training room were activated under the scanning of intelligent AI. An invisible force field enveloped Liu Wen’s body, isolating him from external interference. As the equipment adjusted the strength of the force field interference, the spiritual energy in front of Liu Wen’s chest gathered more and more, until most of the spiritual energy gathered together to form a golden ball of light the size of a basketball.

Liu Wen’s spiritual power merged into it and began to fuse psychic particles from the center point. Psychic particles themselves have no external form. They can be waves or particles, which means that their existence is similar to the wave-particle duality of light.

And psychic power is more idealistic. The form of each person’s psychic power is affected by their own mind. When you imagine it as a particle, it is a particle. When you imagine it as ripple radiation, it exists in the form of waves.

The mind interferes with reality, and the power of my thinking is fully demonstrated here.

Under the strong and weak forces of Liu Wen’s spiritual power and external equipment, the psychic particles began to merge into one. The distance between the particles was like when a star condenses and due to its own mass, the core is affected by high temperature and high pressure and begins to undergo nuclear fusion. The psychic particles gathered together to form new psychic particles. Their own mass increased, but their volume became smaller. The energy released was assimilated by the external psychic particles and mixed with spiritual power, and a chain reaction was formed.

The psychic light ball gradually shrank, but the light it emitted became more and more dazzling, and at the same time, the intensity of the psychic energy it contained continued to increase.

Before being promoted to a fourth-level psychic, the psychic strength was only 805 degrees, but as the psychic core gradually took shape, the psychic strength has risen to 1,100 and is still rising.

A few minutes later, the basketball-sized psychic light ball finally merged into an egg-sized semi-solid psychic core. The promotion process was extremely smooth.

Liu Wen smiled and integrated the pure gold psychic core into his body, channeling the remaining psychic energy in his body into it. After being compressed and purified by the psychic core, it was guided out and integrated into his body’s cells.

He could feel that the psionic energy after purification had turned into particles of the psionic core. The external manifestation was a massive reduction in quantity, but the transformation of biological cells by the psionic particles after fusion was more thorough.

It absorbs external energy and assimilates it into psychic energy, then replaces and devours cellular energy with psychic energy. The cellular energy matter devoured by the psychic particles is then carried into the psychic core, and the number of psychic particles increases when it appears again.

Under the reciprocating cycle, Liu Wen’s body’s energy trend progressed rapidly. It only took three months for all 60 trillion cells in the body to be fully energized. By then, as long as his brain was not damaged, he would be able to heal himself.

At level five, even if the body is gone, the brain can be restored, and at level six, the psychic energy can be restored and reorganized without being annihilated. Now Liu Wen’s psychic core has been condensed, and in the conventional sense, he has officially entered the fourth level of psychic.

But he still wanted to go further. The speed at which the psychic core refined psychic energy was still limited by his own spiritual power. He did not dare to refine psychic energy wantonly. Things that he could not control were just waste no matter how good they were, and they would affect the quality of his life. Although he looked handsome with flames all over his body, he could even pretend to be a god if he went to a planetary civilization.

But, it’s useless.

In order to increase the growth rate of spiritual power, meditation alone is no longer enough, so Liu Wen turned his attention to Shinto practice.

The Shinto practice will ignite the divine fire when one reaches the level of demigod. This divine fire is actually a spiritual star formed after a high degree of condensation of spiritual power. Through compression and burning in the form of fusion, it can dissolve the massive power of faith gathered by the believers, that is, the spiritual fragments, into pure spiritual energy for itself to absorb and grow. This is also the reason why after reaching the fourth level of demigod, the strength of Shinto can be rapidly improved as long as there are enough believers.

However, success or failure is due to the divine fire. If the divine fire is condensed to the right point and can completely dissolve the power of faith, then everything will be fine. However, if it is not condensed to the right point and some spiritual imprints of believers remain in it, then over time, these spiritual imprints will form indelible pollution in the target’s spiritual power.

These contaminants are like mold on food, which will gradually spread and cover the entire food, then devour all its nutrients.

This is how the evil gods of Shinto come into being. Their autonomous consciousness is lost, their own spiritual energy is devoured, and the spiritual pollution gathered by their believers is in charge. But because there is no core to control everything, under the billions of spiritual imprints, the gods naturally become crazy. And because of their own nature, these pollutions are particularly attractive to the spiritual imprints of believers on other gods. They want to merge with them to strengthen themselves, which makes these evil gods like to hunt down gods the most.

The reason why Liu Wen chose Shinto, which has equally obvious advantages and disadvantages, is not because there is no better one. The cultivation method of Xiandao is much more stable than Shinto, but the difficulty of promotion is too great. He also has to optimize the psychic structure and purify the spirit by being struck by lightning, so the success rate is a problem. Liu Wen asked himself if he was the kind of pervert who likes to torture himself, so he chose Shinto.

”The first step is to gather all your mental strength. The second step is to compress it. Compress it with all your strength!”

”The third step is to allow the compressed spiritual power to merge into a small amount of psychic particles. Continue to compress the spiritual power through the psychic particles until the spiritual flame burns and is compressed to the limit.”

Liu Wen tried step by step according to the method of condensing the Shinto divine fire that he had purchased, but he encountered trouble in the seemingly simple first step.

After gathering all his spiritual power, how could he have room to push the spiritual power together?

He repeatedly recalled the Shinto practice method he had purchased and after making sure that there were no problems, he began to use a 30% to 70% split, using 70% of his mental power to suppress 30% of his mental power. Then, he used the method of condensing the psychic energy core to link the inside and outside and condense the mental power together to form a burning flame.

Then send the remaining spiritual power into the flame little by little, thus forming a situation where 30% is used to suppress 70% of spiritual energy, and then put in some psychic particles to act as the core of the flame, and the wisps of flame suddenly began to expand.

Seventy percent of the spiritual energy was sent into it, where it collided violently and aggregated to release pure spiritual energy, which evaporated upward into the brain nerves in the form of flames. The pure spiritual energy was constantly recycled and refined by Liu Wen, and then integrated into the divine fire to help it grow.

It was two hours later when all the spiritual energy was integrated into the divine fire. Now the divine fire had become a small flame and merged into the brain, but because Liu Wen’s own spiritual energy was exhausted and lacked the power of faith to fuel it, the divine fire had gradually begun to weaken, and would go out and dissipate after a long time.

Liu Wen was well prepared for this. The so-called power of faith is naturally the better the spiritual fragments are that are closer to the spiritual frequency of the gods, but it is not necessarily all of them. It’s just that the spiritual imprint of believers carried by the spiritual fragments that are closer to the spiritual fluctuations of the gods is easier to remove.

It is also very easy to collect the spiritual energy that people dissipate. Through specific equipment, the spiritual fragments within a radius of tens of kilometers can be gathered together and stored in a frozen form for the gods to extract and absorb.

Liu Wen had already placed collection devices in the living areas of the alien vassals. Over a year, the amount of spiritual fragments collected from tens of millions of people was very considerable. He could use them freely by himself, but as the population continued to increase, the spiritual fragments were collected faster than they were used.

He casually summoned a mental container, which contained the spiritual energy fragments dissipated by ten thousand people in a month. Now that it had been stored for too long, a lot of it had dissipated. Even the mental barrier could not completely prevent it from dissipating.

The spirit enveloped the jar, and after the barrier was opened, all the spiritual fragments poured into Liu Wen’s mind, were wrapped by his spiritual energy, and sent into the divine fire bit by bit to burn.

After adapting, the spiritual fragments were sent into the furnace of the divine fire like an assembly line. The purified spiritual energy evaporated and was absorbed and refined by him. The spiritual energy grew steadily, and the divine fire continued to grow in volume in the process. The indecomposable residues after the burning of the spiritual fragments condensed together under the action of psychic particles until finally forming a solid substance.

Liu Wen intentionally began to mobilize these materials, combining and arranging them according to his ideas, forming a portable computer array with energy properties, until finally forming a divine being that integrates computing and application functions!

At that time, he had almost reached level seven and could be called a lower-level god.

Exhaling a breath of foul air, Liu Wen sensed his psychic core and divine fire that had entered autonomous operation, and felt the steady growth of his strength. Now, as long as he had enough psychic energy and spiritual fragments, he could gradually reach level six even if he no longer practiced independently.

This does not take long, only about three years, which is a perfect inheritance of Shinto’s rapid growth advantage.

”As the information in the Interstellar Alliance shows, regular psychics are a panacea. They can match most psychic cultivation methods and can switch cultivation methods at any time, even with fellow practitioners. The prerequisite is that you have the energy and financial resources to support it.”

After checking the results, Liu Wen nodded with satisfaction. His mind moved, and his psychic energy constructed an operating model of the space formula along with the spiritual energy. At this moment, he felt the power of space and realized that he was now mastering the ability to jump.

”Knowledge is the essential core component of a cultivator. Without relevant scientific knowledge to apply one’s own energy, then even the most powerful energy used is just brute force and is nothing to be afraid of.”

Liu Wen turned off the auxiliary equipment with satisfaction and opened the door of the training room. Fatty Blue and several others rushed into the training room eagerly.

”Boss, did it succeed?” Frog asked impatiently.

Liu Wen nodded: ”It succeeded, we can indeed practice together.”

”Great!” Frog jumped up excitedly. This meant that he didn’t need to spend too much time on cultivation, but could spend more time studying and working.

The little fox and the cat surrounded Liu Wen and touched him randomly, fearing that he was missing some parts. After hearing that Liu Wen had succeeded, they happily dribbled the ball and bumped into people while jumping and dribbling.

The blue fat man asked: ”Then Boss, can we do it too?”

”It should be fine. As long as the divine fire is well condensed, there won’t be any sequelae. If it doesn’t work, then disperse the divine fire yourself and stop practicing the divine way. Although there will still be some sequelae, it won’t be life-threatening.”
