Star Lord: Rob the alien race and you will get a hundred times the reward

Chapter 76 This Is Not WarChapter 76 This Is Not War

Wei Ming and Lena quickly submitted a combat plan and an arms application form. Liu Wen didn’t even think about it. He just glanced at it casually and signed it, asking them to execute it immediately.

It took two days for the blue fat man to mobilize the weapons factory to produce a large number of heavy firepower equipment for the Marine Corps. The aerospace forces even formed thirty divisions, including aerospace fighters, floating fortresses, small troop transports, ground attack aircraft, bombers, etc.

In order to quickly resolve the battle, high-powered assault units such as prism tanks, land tanks, and self-propelled artillery have been added to the ground forces.

At nine o’clock in the morning on August 26, 18,696, in the Sixth Cosmic Era, ten medium-sized transport ships carrying all the soldiers and equipment of the Star Marines officially landed in the Nix subspace.

Liu Wen, Bai Haitang and his team stayed in the command room to watch the battle and also to provide support to the Marines when necessary.

The transport ship turned on its concealed equipment and passed through the space channel. The huge hull tilted downward under the pull of gravity, and it seemed that it was about to fall directly to the ground.

The anti-gravity equipment was activated to stabilize the spacecraft. Since the height of the subspace is only more than 30,000 kilometers, it does not match the diameter of three light years at all. In addition, the higher you fly, the greater the resistance is due to the high-dimensional projection. The various flowing energies are also equivalent to a small-equivalent continuous attack. The transport ship cannot withstand it for long, so the transport ship is only lifted into the atmosphere 300 kilometers above the ground.

In the command room of the transport ship, Wei Ming looked at Lena and said, ”Splitting into two groups as planned?”

”Of course.” Reina, wearing an exoskeleton armor, looked at the projection sand table with her hands behind her back: ”More than a million soldiers, tens of millions of armed robots, a single point attack is too wasteful.”

”Okay then, according to the predetermined plan, I will take the eastern route and you will take the western route, and we will attack you from both sides.” Wei Ming said as he prepared to leave.

”The Nyx tribe hasn’t sent out an envoy yet, so why not draw a group of people from the General Staff?” Lena stopped Wei Ming and asked.

Wei Ming looked at the hundreds of Nyx nations on the projection sand table and shook his head. ”Don’t be in a hurry to send envoys over. Let’s defeat this dinosaur civilization first. Only by showing enough military force can people surrender willingly, right?”

After hearing this, Reina immediately drove him away: ”Okay, you can leave my spaceship now.”

Wei Ming shrugged, left the command room, walked to the hatch and flew towards his spaceship.

The two sides separated and flew to the two ends of the continent.

”Commander, we have reached the target.” A staff officer ran over to report to Lena.

Lena looked at the projected sand table. In the rolling hills below, a living city covering thousands of square kilometers stood in the middle of the hills. There were three satellite cities and three military bases around it. Countless biochemical beasts carrying various mechanical weapons were patrolling around the urban area.

”Deploy the aerospace fortress, deploy 001 armed robots, and send out the Armored Regiment to test the waters of the dinosaur civilization first.” Lena was not in a hurry to launch an all-out attack. She first activated the combat readiness level of the dinosaur civilization. After all the military bases had gathered their forces, a blanket firepower strike would be enough to eliminate most of the enemies.

”The dinosaur civilization communication network has been connected, and the target civilization database is being retrieved.”

”All military bases of the dinosaur civilization have been locked, and the strike matrix has been activated.”

”Communication jammers are ready.”

”Armed robots are being deployed.”

”Armored Regiment 001 is being deployed.”

The hatches on both sides of the two transport ships opened, and armed robots that had shrunk into three-dimensional cubes were pushed out of the hatches in batches. As the robotic arms loosened, one armed robot after another fell to the earth like a meteor shower.

However, the scene inside the armored regiment’s cabin was quite different. A tractor beam dropped from the sky. Armored vehicles of various types drove into the beam and quickly fell down under the cover of the particle tractor beam.

A shrill alarm sounded in the Dinosaur City. After detecting the densely packed, almost continuous red dots in the sky, the three surrounding military bases quickly mobilized. Anti-aircraft firepower was activated one after another, and batches of interceptor missiles were fired from the anti-aircraft artillery batteries. The resulting smoke and dust covered the earth.

As they got closer and closer to the ground, the armed robots that had huddled together spread out their bodies, allowing the friction of the air to produce violent flames. When they were less than thirty miles away from the ground, the interceptor missiles launched from the ground were already in sight.

The armed robot’s fire control radar quickly locked onto all the interceptor missiles, and two laser launchers were deployed on its shoulders. After several bursts of firing, the interceptor missiles exploded one after another.

Missiles exploded in the sky, forming a fire cloud that covered the sky. Armed robots with long tail flames passed straight through the fire cloud, and facing them were laser beams fired by three armed bases.

The armed robot adjusted its body shape, and the reverse thrust engine under its feet sprayed ion streams to start slowing down. The weapons behind it unfolded, and the armed robot with long-range strike capability deployed a particle cannon matrix and launched a fierce attack on the ground. The orange-yellow particle beam destroyed all laser emitters. At the same time, a huge amount of energy exploded after penetrating dozens of meters underground. Mushroom clouds rose into the sky, and powerful shock waves spread to the surroundings with high-temperature light radiation.

A large number of armed biochemical beasts pouring out of the military base were burned to charcoal in the explosion. More hidden doors opened, and thousands of armed biochemical beasts rushed to the ground. The two multi-barreled machine guns on their backs bombarded the armed robots landing in the sky. The ammunition fired by kinetic weapons formed a dense firepower network composed of projectiles under the illumination of tracer bullets.

At the same time, many defensive weapons buried underground also rose up one after another. Electromagnetic cannons, laser cannons, particle cannons, ion cannons, rockets and other weapons opened fire one after another. The defense system rising from the land around the three military bases formed a dense defense matrix.

Five hundred thousand armed robots deployed their weapons in the sky hundreds of meters high. Long-range fire support robots fired a rain of lasers at the defensive turrets of the dinosaur civilization. Wherever the red lasers with a diameter of several centimeters swept, there was an explosion of fire.

In just a dozen seconds, under the firepower of tens of thousands of long-range armed robots, all weapons that posed a threat to the armed robots were turned into a pile of scrap metal.

Millions of armed biochemical beasts rushed towards the hundreds of thousands of melee armed robots that were landing. The two sides collided with each other in the hilly area. A melee robot holding two high-frequency shock blades, with its reverse thrust engine behind it, sprayed out several meters long ion tail flames. Its body turned into a stream of light and rushed towards the armed biochemical beasts. With the flash of swords and the shadow of guns, everything it passed by was cut in half. The metal armor of the biochemical beasts was not much better than tofu in front of the sharp blades that could cut through the armor of the spacecraft.

More than 300,000 long-range armed robots were flying in the sky over the battlefield, following the melee armed robots forward.

The 001 Armored Regiment that had just landed in the rear had already assembled and deployed in an offensive formation more than ten meters above the ground. With the muzzles raised high, high-temperature ion balls were fired one after another, falling into the biochemical beast formation and exploding. All the biochemical beasts within a radius of hundreds of meters were burned into charcoal, and the alloy armor melted into molten iron flowing on the vitrified ground.

”A nuclear attack has been detected, the coordinates and location...”

”Shoot them down.” Lena glanced at the cruise missiles flying towards the fleet.

Several lasers were fired, and the cruise missiles located hundreds of miles in the sky suddenly exploded. Large fireballs appeared out of thin air. Under the shock wave generated by the explosion of the fusion bomb, the sky was swept by gusts of wind of more than ten levels. ”Dinosaur civilization air units have been discovered, the number is 15,000.”

”We have discovered that military forces are gathering at military bases around the dinosaur civilization. Support forces have been dispatched from three directions.”

……

Lena looked at the sand table projection in silence and shook her head. This was not a war at all, it could only be considered a cleansing.

”The fleet is activated, with the aerospace fortress as the core, and the combat troops are deployed.”

The Galaxy Marines consist of a total of 6,000 human soldiers and 650,000 alien soldiers, divided into thirteen divisions, sixty-five brigades, and one hundred and ninety-five regiments.

Each division of the Aerospace Fortress has one, and Lena has equipped it with an armored regiment, an aerospace fighter regiment, and 300,000 armed robots.

As Reina gave the order, the aerospace fortress inside the transport ship rose and unfolded. Thirteen fortresses with a diameter of 500 meters and a height of 300 meters, like a cone, took shape.

Platforms carrying various armed forces flew out of the transport ship, and each group of four was connected to the aerospace fortress.

Of the thirteen aerospace fortresses, except for one that remained in place, the other thirteen flew to both sides, and each one would be responsible for a line of dinosaur cities.

As the country was attacked on both sides, the dinosaur civilization entered a state of combat readiness. Troops from various military bases began to be mobilized, air defense firepower was activated, and arsenals began to light up and produce.

”How’s your investigation going?” Wei Ming sent a message to ask Lena.

”Not very good. So far, the other party has only deployed some conventional firepower, and the most they have is a few fusion bombs.” Lena said with a bored look on her face.

Wei Ming smiled. There were no strong individuals in the dinosaur civilization. For third-level psychics like them, one person could flatten it with some time, not to mention that they had tens of millions of armed robots with the combat power equivalent to that of second-level naked psychics. It was simply not difficult at all.

”Then let’s not waste time and just push forward.” Wei Ming suggested.

”Okay, let’s blow up their living cities and military bases first, and then let the ground forces clear the way. It is expected to be cleared within half a month.” Lena agreed with Wei Ming’s proposal with both hands. If she was full of interest at the beginning, now she is completely disappointed with the dinosaur civilization. This is not the opponent she wants, and it can’t even be called a war.

Reina said to the staff officer next to her: ”Start communication jamming, launch gamma ray bombs, and clear all cities where dinosaur civilizations live and military bases.”

”Yes!” The staff officer turned around and conveyed the order.

The aerospace fortress, which had just arrived above the target, opened the launch port after receiving the order. As the detector that had been deployed long ago started communication interference, all electronic equipment of the dinosaur civilization was burned, and it lost the ability to communicate over long distances.

Dozens of missile launchers on the aerospace fortress began to launch gamma-ray bombs. Missiles traveling at dozens of times the speed of sound were simply not something that the dinosaur civilization, which mainly relied on level 3 biotechnology, could intercept.

Dozens of cities and military bases within thousands of kilometers of the aerospace fortress suffered a fatal blow. A hypersonic missile equipped with a gamma-ray bomb landed accurately in the middle of the city under the guidance of the detector. The gamma-ray bomb exploded, and the green light swept across the surrounding area for hundreds of kilometers in an instant. All carbonyl organisms suffered brain nerve death under the highly penetrating gamma rays, and the entire area was dead silent.

The dinosaur civilization occupies tens of billions of square kilometers of land in the subspace, has a population of hundreds of billions, and millions of large and small cities. All cities with a population of more than 500,000 and all military bases are within the strike range of the Aerospace Fortress. Because there are too many targets and the distance is too far, the Aerospace Fortress has to move quickly while dropping weapons on the targets.

After more than ten hours of targeted strikes, the population of the dinosaur civilization was reduced by more than 90%, and most of the remaining people were in various small settlements.

Millions of Marines, organized into companies and platoons, each led tens of thousands of armed robots to complete the subsequent cleanup work.

The Nix tribe, separated from the dinosaur civilization by a mountain range tens of thousands of meters high, have been opponents for thousands of years. They were also the first to discover that the dinosaur civilization had suffered an unknown attack. After discovering through optical telescopes that most of the dinosaur civilization’s military bases and living cities within sight were dead silent, the terrified heads of hundreds of Nix countries quickly gathered together to discuss countermeasures.

In the neutral country of the Nix tribe, hundreds of leaders of civilizations were holding an emergency meeting. Just as the door of the conference room was closed, a ray of light fell from the sky and landed on the podium of the conference room.

Reina’s projection glanced at everyone: ”Very good, everyone is here.”

”Let me introduce myself. I am Reina, the leader of the Galaxy Marines under the human pioneer lord, the Lord of the Star Sea. You can call me Captain Reina or Commander.”

”The dinosaur civilization is about to become extinct, and as a humanoid civilization, we give you a choice: surrender or destruction. Please choose.”

”Excuse me, Commander Lena, where are you from? What is human civilization? What is a pioneer lord?” A governor of the Nyx Kingdom stood up and asked.

”What makes you think you can ask me questions casually?” Reina said while staring at the other party coldly.

”Uh!” The consul who asked the question felt his heart skip a beat under the gaze and almost died on the spot.

”Human civilization has lasted for six cosmic eras, and has been passed down continuously as the universe changes.”

Reina explained: ”The pure humans are the main body of civilization, and your genes and moral concepts are in line with the universal moral scope of mankind, so you are called the humanoid race, a race born under the radiation of the concept of humans.”

”Do you understand now?”

”Concepts? Can human civilization influence concepts?” A consul who was a scientist kept muttering like a madman after hearing Reina’s explanation.

”According to the records of the Interstellar Alliance, the concept of human beings was born in the first cosmic era. But so far, in this era, no human country has reached a level above the rule level. Therefore, many researchers speculate that today’s humans are just the successors of humans in previous eras.” Lenato said.

”Is that so?” The consul sat down with a dejected look on his face.
