Star Lord: Rob the alien race and you will get a hundred times the reward

Chapter 51 The Real Goal of the Large FleetChapter 51 The Real Goal of the Large Fleet

”Robbery Target: Tok Civilization
Number of robberies: One
The harvest from the robbery: an intermediate scientific research team, some level 5 scientific and technological materials, and some common resources. ”

”Rewards have been issued: Pan-human will induces relevant personnel to join Xinghai Group, coordinate point...”

When Liu Wen saw the reward, he became very excited. It turned out that capturing aliens could really earn him a reward. In this way, the scarce high-level scientific researchers would no longer be a big problem.

”This bet was right!” Liu Wen looked at the reward content in a happy mood. It was a hundredfold reward. After capturing hundreds of scientific researchers from the Tok civilization, there would be at least a few senior scientific researchers. Now the scientific research institute with only two or three cats could also be updated and iterated. Not to mention the rapid increase in scientific research capabilities, the integration of existing technologies would definitely make rapid progress.

”This resource coordinate? It’s just a regular mineral resource. Send it to them and let them decide for themselves.”

Having given up the resource rewards that came with it, Liu Wen continued to cultivate his psychic powers and did not interfere with the operation of the fleet. However, he still sent a notice to Michelle and others, looking for opportunities to capture more capable scientific researchers and other high-tech talents.

In the interstellar age, humans have no shortage of talents, but the Xinghai Group does, and Liu Wen does even less. Without sufficient talents to build a team, does he really expect to rely on robbery to maintain operations?

In the conference room of the command ship, Michelle and others were discussing the next course of action.

”Three hundred and fourteen scientific researchers were captured, along with a number of scientific research equipment, but none of them are top-notch equipment. Twelve thousand cubic meters of Tokya space-specific minerals are of low value and can only be used to smelt level five high-energy alloys. The performance data is not as good as the alloys used in general warships.” Wu Shuhe threw the report aside and no longer paid attention to these things that were of no use to the fleet.

”Okay, let’s talk about the next action plan.” Michelle said.

”Currently, the planets in the 063 star system only have conventional resources and population left. There are no more suitable targets for us to attack.”

”I suggest leaving this star field and going to find those medium-sized teams. Follow them and attack the research base of the Tok civilization to plunder the researchers and technological data.”

”I have no objection.” Luo Shaohua drank his tea elegantly and voted in favor.

Wu Shuhe and Shirley had no objections, but suggested that they go to the 052 star field first. According to the information sent by various fleets on the regional channel, there is a core scientific research space station of the Tok civilization and a military industrial park, which has rich reserves of scientific and technological information and resources.

Scientific and technological information can be copied, but they don’t need resources. The scientific researchers that the Star Fleet wants most are not needed by other fleets. Therefore, there is no contradiction between them, and they can try to get involved.

”Okay, let’s go to the 052 star field first to see the situation.”

After confirming the target, Michelle returned to the command room, gathered the fleet, and jumped out of the 063 star field, heading towards the 052 star field.

”Alert! Alert! Space interference detected ahead.”

”A violent energy reaction occurred one light year away.”

”Ten light hours away, a legion-level fleet of the Tok civilization was discovered to have made a jump.”

”Turn and jump to star field 056 immediately to avoid them.” After receiving a series of alarm reminders, Michelle quickly ordered the fleet to flee.

Luo Shaohua and the other two also received the alarm and ran over: ”When did you run in this direction? Didn’t the monitoring system detect it?”

Wu Shuhe shook his head: ”It’s too far. Our monitoring system only covers the surrounding three light years. If it’s farther, we have to send a reconnaissance ship to deploy monitoring equipment.”

”Something’s wrong. How could the fleet of the Tok civilization escape thousands of light years across a dozen star fields so easily while encircling and blocking the Trial-takers’ joint fleet?” Luo Shaohua frowned and judged the position and movement direction of the Tianhe Fleet and others by the movement direction of the Tok Legion, but the result was surprising.

”Are they heading towards the star region of the capital of the Tok civilization?”

Shirley denied Luo Shaohua’s conjecture: ”It’s impossible. The capital star field of the Tok civilization is just a simple residential area and work area. With the threat from us, their capital star field is always the focus of attack. They will not place their core resources there.”

”Looking at their movement trajectory, I feel more like they are heading for the military-industrial star field.”

The industrial star field that Shirley mentioned is the industrial system that the Tok civilization puts on the surface. One reason is that the level five industrial system is too large and there is no place to hide it. The other reason is that the hidden ones are the essence. The ones on the surface are for them to attack. The layered defense system can consume a considerable number of trial fleets.

”That doesn’t make sense. Why would the Tianhe Fleet attack the industrial zone? They are still being besieged by hundreds of legions of the Tok civilization. How can they attack the industrial zone under such circumstances? Moreover, there is no benefit for them to attack the industrial zone. The military fleet will completely destroy it as soon as it comes in.” Luo Shaohua frowned even deeper. He could not understand the goals and ideas of the Tianhe Fleet at all.

Michelle concentrated on controlling the fleet to avoid the Tok civilization fleet, carefully avoiding the opponent’s direction of advance, making a big circle, and running behind them at a distance of several light years.

”Why are you following them?” Luo Shaohua asked immediately when he saw the direction the fleet was heading.

”With them leading the way, as long as we are careful, our journey will be very smooth. It’s like hitchhiking,” Michelle explained with a smile.

Luo Shaohua stopped talking and instead concentrated on analyzing the movements of the Tianhe Fleet, trying to determine what they wanted to do, whether it would be beneficial to the fleet, and how the fleet could profit from it.

They just wanted to capture some scientific researchers from the Tok civilization. Although Luo Shaohua and his companions did not say anything, they were quite nervous in their hearts. After all, the fleet had no direct benefits and had lost dozens of warships.

The Star Sea Fleet followed for several days, stopping and starting along the way. The battle between the Tianhe Fleet and other large fleets and the Tok Civilization Legion Fleet was extremely fierce. Out of the 500,000 or 600,000 warships, only less than 300,000 were left. Special ships were deployed four times in total, an average of once every seven days, causing huge casualties to the Tok civilization.

Just from what the Star Fleet observed, more than 300 warships of the size of the army were destroyed, and the floating wreckage of warships became the best hiding place for the Star Fleet. Until half a month before the end of the trial, the strength of the Tok Civilization besieging the Tianhe Fleet and other large fleets did not decrease but increased. Correspondingly, the garrisons in various star regions were emptied, and even the garrison army was withdrawn a lot, causing many medium and small fleets to rush up and bite like sharks smelling blood, biting off several pieces of meat from the Tok Civilization.

Many small industrial star systems were breached, various common resources were plundered, living cities were destroyed, and space stations were destroyed.

The entire Tok civilization was caught in the flames of war. Without a defense system supported by mobile forces, its counterattack capability was too weak in the fleet’s attack. It would only take some time to break through the defense system bit by bit.

After waiting for more than half a month, the Trialist United Fleet chose a central star field to engage in direct battle with the Tok Civilization Fleet. More than 200,000 warships huddled in the gap between star systems. The space interference was smoothed out by the inhibitors, and they could forcibly jump away if the battlefield became unfavorable.

After the encirclement of more than 200 fully-strength Tok Legion fleets and more than 100 severely damaged legion fleets was completed, Alidartu ordered an attack without hesitation, determined to capture a special warship.

For him, if these fleets were not sacrificed now, they would be destroyed in the subsequent cleanup. Compared with the regular fleets that had no chance of winning, these outpost fleets were the easiest to capture. Therefore, as long as they could capture the special warships and light a torch of hope for the glory of civilization, any sacrifice would be worth it.

More than one hundred Tok Legions immediately launched an attack with a scattered formation. Low-level warships rushed forward like a swarm of bees. A large number of fighter planes were released in the process of advancing, with all kinds of long-range firepower fully opened, and the entire void suddenly lit up.

Li Guanglu looked at the surrounding Tok Civilization fleet with a sneer on his face, and turned to order: ”Deploy the high-dimensional space-time jammer, and order all fleets to jump to the predetermined target.”

Several dark spheres with a diameter of more than 100 meters were launched. The high-dimensional energy inside was released, and the spheres instantly merged into the space layer and flew in all directions.

After leaving behind a group of low-level warships to cover their retreat, large fleets such as the Tianhe Fleet each initiated a jump and jumped out of the encirclement. When they reappeared, they were more than a hundred light years away.

After the released black spheres moved into the Tok civilization fleet, the high-dimensional energy inside was converted in a certain way and then released. After the frequencies were coordinated and unified with each other, the space frequency within the surrounding five light years was interfered by the high-dimensional energy. The space inhibitors no longer worked, and even the curvature navigation could not be started. In other words, before going deep into the space layer to destroy these black spheres, these hundreds of Tok civilization legions were trapped in this void.

This is an area with a diameter of five light years. Without curvature navigation and space jump, it would take at least ten years to escape from this void with only conventional propulsion engines. Do they still have ten years?

”Wow! Exciting!” Luo Shaohua, who had been paying attention the whole time, was the first to discover the movements of these large fleets. Dozens of large fleets were grouped together in twos and threes, and leaped towards the edge of the Tok civilization’s territory, leaving behind hundreds of legion troops unable to move.

”This commander is amazing.” Michelle exclaimed after reading the intelligence: ”Now I finally understand what their plan is.”

”Use the special warships as a trump card and use yourself as bait to gradually attract the troops of the Tok civilization to attack you. Then use the special warships to destroy one group and attract another. Many medium-sized fleets will attack everywhere to disrupt the morale of the army. At the same time, it is also to collect intelligence and determine the true location of the Tok civilization.”

”Finally, after attracting almost all the troops of the Tok civilization, we trapped them in one place. The fleets then went to various locations based on the information they had already explored to obtain the civilization heritage that the Tok civilization might have stored, thereby maximizing the benefits.”

”They are indeed ruthless. Nearly 500,000 warships were damaged during this period. Although they were shared by dozens of large fleets and hundreds of medium-sized fleets, this loss is also a serious blow to the conventional fleet, and the gains may not be that great.” Luo Shaohua felt that he had a big enough gambling nature, but now it seems that there is always someone stronger than the strong, so what can he count for!

Wu Shuhe asked: ”Should we follow?”

”Go, of course. We don’t have any conflicts with them. We don’t even need scientific and technological information. We just want scientific researchers. The boss likes this anyway. Catching more people will make him feel less sad about the losses.” Luo Shaohua said with a smile.

Michelle also smiled and immediately arranged for the fleet to follow the largest fleet closest to them.

The two sides used space jumps uninterruptedly all the way, and after more than ten hours they had traveled a distance of more than three thousand light years and arrived at the edge of Tokya space, outside a desolate star system.

Li Minhua, commander of the Anleyuan Fleet, and Julian, commander of the Styx Fleet, stood together, looking in silence at the desolate star system in front of them that had no features and no energy response at all.

”Li, let’s send a reconnaissance ship in to investigate.” Julian didn’t want to wait any longer. The sooner he got the things, the safer they would be, because no one knew how long the high-dimensional interference would last.

Li Minhua smiled and said, ”Julian, you are too anxious. Our fleet has suffered heavy losses. The total number of ships is less than 10,000. How can we afford to lose more ships at will?”

”What do you think?” Julian looked at the other person in confusion.

”Well, they have followed us all the way. They should have guessed our goal, so they want to have some soup. Then I might as well give them a chance to eat meat. Let’s see if they can seize it.” Li Minhua said, pointing to the Star Fleet in the radar projection.

Julian thought about it for a moment and it seemed acceptable. Everyone would have a copy of the scientific and technological information anyway, so having one more would not be a big deal as long as it could reduce his own losses.

Li Minhua openly contacted the Star Fleet, proposed the mission of investigating the target star system, and obtained the right to share scientific and technological information.

Michelle and a few others discussed and proposed that if there were any Tok researchers, they would only want the researchers. If the scientific and technological information was discovered by themselves, they would make a copy for the two fleets. If it was discovered by the Styx Fleet, the Star Fleet would not take a penny.

After getting this unexpected answer, Li Minhua happily signed a cooperation contract with Michelle, and the Star Fleet took the lead in entering the desolate star system.

More than a dozen reconnaissance ships flew out, and probes were driven into the surface of the planet. The geological detectors conducted an in-depth scan of the planet, but after scanning back and forth several times, all five planets in the star system were turned over, and even the core of the earth was scanned twice, but still no traces of man-made objects were found.

Just when the three parties were wondering whether there was something wrong with the intelligence and that this star system was just a smokescreen, Michelle suddenly remembered something and turned to look at the yellow star outside the porthole.

Luo Shaohua also thought of something when he saw this, and looked at the star in surprise: ”No way, they are just an ordinary fifth-level civilization, their technology tree is incomplete and has gone a little off. They shouldn’t have such a difficult construction technology.”
