Reborn as an Extra

Chapter 743: You can change this world, Rio! Part-1.

Cyria-229, On the Fifth Moon, Blue Orb.

*BOOOOMM!!!!*

A figure covered in a greenish aura came smashing down on the surface of the moon with such speed that upon impact the entire north pole region of the moon cracked, and the moon almost became destabilized from its orbit!

Underground lava that was buried for millions of years was forced to be spilled out on the surface of the moon as the powerful impact caused thousands of tons of debris to be flung into space!

At the center of the massive crater, the figure covered in a greenish aura flickered and disappeared from existence all of a sudden and then reappeared in the air completely healed back to its original state as if nothing had happened to it at all!

”Do you not get it? No matter how many times you try to kill me, it’s pointless, so just give up already, will you?”

Raika pretended to pat off the dust from his clothes as he spoke out loud in a mocking voice.

*Shmmm!*

As if responding to his words with action, a figure covered in a purplish aura that danced around in a thunderbolt-like form appeared on the moon with insane speed.

But the figure did not crash and stopped just a few meters away from the surface of the moon, showcasing its insane control over speed and power.

”Don’t be too full of yourself... I am using you as a practice dummy; if I wanted to leave, I could any time I wanted to.”

”You aren’t qualified to make me give up.”

Rio was indeed not an SS-ranker and thus couldn’t manifest a ’world authority’ like Raika could do, but he wasn’t weak either.

Aside from not having the ’world authority,’ he was almost already reaching the same base stats as an early SS-ranker.

And as Rio also had ’Sword Intent,’ ’Imperfect Sword Heart,’ and ’Imperfect Sword Body’ all stacked upon each other, he was much less susceptible to the effects of a world authority when compared to other people.

”But well, you are right; fighting you over and over is pointless, as this farce will not end if I just keep destroying this mere projection over and over...”

Rio put his sword back in its sheath and crossed his arms around his chest.

[Sword Intent: Precision Approach!]

[Sword Sage’s Enlightenment: Soul Manipulation: Temporary Soul Divide!]

Rio closed one of his eyes as he used half of his soul to focus on thinking about various plans in his mind and kept the other part of the soul focused on Raika to be ready for any changes in the situation.

As a master of soul manipulation, Rio could easily do precise soul surgery on himself in just a matter of mere milliseconds without facing any side effects whatsoever.

Thus, Rio wasn’t worried about Raika taking advantage of him being out of focus.

Rio was the type of monster that could split his soul in thousands of pieces to do thousands of tasks simultaneously and then merge his soul back into one so perfectly as if it had never even split before in the first place!

”Spit out the bullsh*t you want to talk about while I think about ways to target your real body...”

Hearing Rio’s words, a smile appeared on Raika’s face as he immediately nodded his head as if he were confident that Rio would never be able to target his real body no matter what.

”I am glad you agreed to listen to me...”

[World Authority: Realm Weaver!]

[By the order of the great crown: I command new dreams to unfold!]

Raika expanded his newly created realm and engulfed Rio inside it, and as Rio didn’t resist this time, the realm succeeded in teleporting Rio inside itself.

Once inside the realm, the two of them appeared on a meteor that was orbiting a planet that was smashed into two pieces by some powerful force.

”As you might have already realized, I know that you are an ’Anomaly’ Rio Flash... you are not a human being, you are not even supposed to be a creature or a physical entity...”

”You are a manifestation of something that is much more powerful than just a mere human being! You are an ’Anomaly’ in the very fabric of reality!”

”If you want, you can do anything, Rio Flash; you can change the world the way you whims, and don’t play the excuse that you don’t want to change it...”

”I know that you changed the natural world order to save the life of your friend Elisia Mistiltienn! You have created abilities like soul merge that no one has ever dreamt of in the universe before!”

An excited look appeared on Raika’s face as he continued speaking enthusiastically.

”An anomaly can be anything it wants to be, and nothing can stop it from becoming what it wants to become! In other words, you have infinite possibilities, Rio Flash!”

”And that’s why you are the perfect candidate to be the ’hero’ who can save this world and change the natural world order of this world!”

”You can make it so that the world does not discriminate against normal beings and demons! You can free the demon race from the grasp of miasmic corruption!”

Despite hearing Raika’s excitement-filled words of praise and flattery, Rio only shrugged his shoulders.

”So you want me to finish what Alverto started? Collect the ’Fragments,’ summon a new spire of ascension, and use the world’s luck to change the natural world order?”

”No thanks, I am not interested... Also, I don’t like taking such uncertain risks.”

Dealing with miasma was not that easy.

That power was called miasma and corruption mainly because it could keep adapting and corrupting everything despite all kinds of resistance stacked against it.

Even if you change the natural world order and make everyone free from miasma or make them resistant to miasma,

Miasma will eventually still be able to restart its evil work again some way or another, as it will also evolve with the changed natural world order!

Alverto’s solution was just a gamble that was too dangerous and risky; that’s why Rio stopped it.

”Moreover... You definitely have some ulterior motive to this... Tell me about that first... Stop beating around the bush.”
