Reborn as an Extra

Chapter 735: Forgotten World, Cyria-229. Part-3.

[Dao Rhythm: Supreme Being’s Aura!]

[Divine Dragon Art: Aura of Supreme: Domain of Draconic Perception!]

Link first deployed a massive perception enhancement field around him using the skill ’Supreme Being’s Aura’ that every S-ranker awakens after reaching rank S in sync with his ’Dao Rhythm’ to boost its efficiency.

Then using this skill in a combination with his original Dragon Domain ability that he once created just to counter Rio’s insane speed-blitzing attacks, Link boosted his base perception ability to a higher realm!

With these enhancements, his close-range detection improved tremendously, and he became capable of reacting to attacks at a much faster rate from all directions.

And finally, he finished the combo with his personal combat skill!

[Link Style Martial Art: Absolute Deflection!]

With a single wave of his hand, Link created such overwhelming wind and mana pressure that all the monsters that were about to attack him from various angles were blown off!

Some monsters were even blasted into blood mist on the spot by the sheer force of the mana pressure created by his casual combo skills!

But of course, the combo wasn’t over yet; although low-rank monsters were all blown off by him, stronger monsters that were at rank S were not affected by that casual attack.

And as if to prove this point, a massive sandworm the size of an entire city came rushing at him, completely ignoring the previous deflection attack.

[Dao Rhythm!]

[Divine Dragon Martial Art: Fist of The Dragon Sage: Heaven’s Equal!]

This skill involved no tricks or flashy moves; it was just a straightforward punch, but it was enhanced to the extreme by ’Dao Rhythm’ and the skills that Link had practiced for his entire life!

It was a fist that could rival the might of heavenly bombardment as it carried the might of mana condensed to the extreme limits and used to enhance a single punch attack.

*BOOOOOOM!!!!*

A shockwave powerful enough to rupture everyone’s ear in several kilometers of area nearby spread out as the sheer impact created by Link’s punch completely obliterated the entire sandworm’s body into meat paste!

The attack had so much brute strength and power that the air pressure alone was strong enough to crack the ground and create new valleys in the entire area, killing hundreds of thousands of monsters in a single instant!

Link’s fist carried such might that it seemed like a nuke was dropped on the monster army and had wiped out every creature in several dozen kilometers of area in an instant!

’Miasmic monsters on this planet are stronger than the ones we encountered during Alverto’s rampage in the spire of ascension...’

’Moreover, the gravity of this planet is insanely powerful, and since mana is in low density, all of my attacks have been suppressed tremendously by miasmic corruption...’

’This planet is not ideal for martial artists like me at all...’

Thinking about these things in his mind, Link felt dissatisfied by his performance.

On this strange planet, he was definitely not at his peak state, and all of his attacks were being suppressed by miasma, which made him feel irritated.

’Tch, I hate miasma; that thing causes me to always be at a disadvantage... ugh, if only I could also control miasma just like Rio, then I wouldn’t have to be suppressed by it so much...’

Miasma was one of the main weaknesses of Link; it could suppress his skills a lot and could put major debuffs on him.

Miasma was also one of the main reasons why Rio managed to defeat Link in the supreme tournament, and ever since that day, Link has tried to make up for that weakness, but his progress so far is minimal.

’Strengthened Dao Rhythm does seem to be able to give me higher resistance to miasmic corruption, but it’s not enough...’

’I need to find new methods to deal with this weakness... Maybe I should visit the dragon valley again someday soon to consult the dragon king and ask for his advice...’

Ashtel was strong too, but he was not knowledgeable about divine dragon techniques and abilities; it was more efficient to ask the Dragon King about matters like this.

’Rio is also knowledgeable about miasmic corruption, but asking him is pointless, as that fellow himself doesn’t know why he can control miasma and how far its effects can go...’

Thinking about various things in his head, Link rampaged in the monster army like an overpowered tiger entering a flock of sheep!

[Dao Rhythm: Yin and Yang Harmony!]

[Link Style Martial Art: Spatial Manipulation: Cosmic Pull!]

Like pulling a bedsheet with his hand, Link pulled the spacetime fabric with his insane brute strength and powerful ’Dao Rhythm,’ forcing hundreds of thousands of monsters to get closer to him and each other temporarily.

And then he used the next combo attack!

[Divine Dragon Martial Art: Fist of Demonic Terror: Broken Halo of Light!]

As if a high-grade light-based mana bomb were detonated on the monsters, an explosion that released intense brightness occurred straight in the center of the monster group that had been pulled closer to each other by Link before.

*BOOOOM!!!!*

The light energy created from borrowing the power of the ’law’ of ’light’ through the help of the universe’s rhythm was so overwhelmingly powerful that it could put a hydrogen bomb explosion to shame!

Everything in the ten-kilometer area was wiped out from existence as intense heat spread in all directions, turning sand into crystal shards!

And what followed afterwards was a greyish ash fallout in hundreds of kilometers of area with no monster left in sight!

Seeing this sight, Link stopped and scratched the back of his neck in awkwardness.

”Err... Did I use too much strength by accident?... I got too busy in my thoughts and ended up going too far...”

As if stunned by his words, Kai, who had deployed a powerful spirit magic shield for Lia and Riya at the last minute, immediately cursed out!

”The f*ck you mean, used too much strength!? You still have more left!? What kind of monster are you!?”

Link was like a walking nuclear missile; a casual punch from him was now equal to a hydrogen bomb explosion!

Rio had already shattered Kai’s worldview with his insane feats, and now Link was making him feel like questioning his very existence with how insane raw strength he had!
