Chapter 738: Forgotten World, Cyria-229. Part-6.

Half-Orc Tribe, In a crudely made tent.

”Ohh!! I see! So the water sources of this planet are actually located deep beneath the ground where the temperature isn’t as high as the surface temperature...”

Link nodded his head in understanding as he chatted with the old chief of the half-orc tribe while drinking plain water.

Water was the most precious resource on this planet, and to the half-orc tribe, it was a sacred liquid that was more expensive and scarcer than the luxurious, most perfectly made wines that sell for millions in the human empire.

As Link was the savior of this small settlement, he and his companions were offered a full glass of water!

”Truth be told, on the planet that I come from, water is abundant over there. Only after seeing you all treasure it like some sacred liquid have I come to understand its true value today...”

Link flattered the old tribe chief without even blushing and lied without stuttering.

”We three are actually members of the ’Angel’ unit, and we go from planet to planet to help people out and save those that are in need...”

”We all just happened to be passing by this planet and just happened to notice that you were facing a devastating calamity...”

”It’s a good thing that we came here on time or... sigh...”

With his skin being thicker than city walls, Link didn’t feel even the slightest bit of shame in lying and deceiving the poor half-orcs.

”By the way, why is your planet in such a bad shape?...”

”I mean, yeah, there are five suns making everything too hot for everyone, but even the other things, like the flow of mana and everything else, are also going haywire...”

Link pointed to Lia and spoke.

”This golden-haired angel friend of mine is actually capable of seeing the strings of destiny and can communicate with the ’laws’ of the ’cosmic order’ of the world...”

”And she told me that your planet’s strings of destinies all look like they have been forcefully broken...”

Hearing Link’s words, the giant half-orc who was almost as tall as a building suddenly spoke out.

”Angels are indeed amazing; they can even see the destiny of a planet. How awesome...”

The giant half-orc’s body was overflowing with a dense aura, and it was likely very powerful, but strangely, the other party’s voice was very high-pitched, as if that of a child.

With a body as big as that and a voice of a child, the combination seemed extremely odd and funny, but as the group didn’t want to break their friendship with the half-orc tribe, they suppressed their laughter.

”Haha! This is nothing! This pink-haired companion of mine can heal all wounds in the world!”

”She can cure all diseases, all physical deformities, and all disabilities. She can even bring the dead back to life!”

”Things that may seem like a miracle to others are just child’s play to her!”

Hearing Link’s words, the eyes of the old tribe chief and everyone else widened in shock and disbelief!

They all looked at Riya with a look of awe and admiration.

Link even noticed a hint of greed flash past the half-orc tribe chief, but the other party quickly restrained himself, likely because he knew how strong Link was.

’Hehe, checkmate!’

A grin appeared on Link’s face as he noticed every single emotional shift in great detail as he revealed Riya’s abilities.

The reason why Link even revealed Riya and Lia’s abilities in front of the half orcs was for them to understand that the three of them were fully capable of solving all of the orc tribe’s problems and troubles easily!

Lia’s and Riya’s abilities could help the orc tribe save their planet and help them get out of this confined valley that they are forced to live in because of the desolate environment of the planet.

After knowing these things, the half-orcs will be agitated and will try to ask for help, and in return for helping, Link and the others can ask them about the secrets of this planet and achieve their own hidden objectives.

Using violence to force the truth out was also an option, but Link and the others didn’t want to use it if it wasn’t necessary, so they took this mild approach instead.

And since Link had already displayed his insane strength the very moment they arrived by destroying a spear of miasma that all orcs were helpless against, the orcs wouldn’t dare plot against the three of them.

All intelligent creatures and species in the world were selfish and greedy to some extent, and that selfishness and greed can be used to manipulate entire races, let alone this small tribe of half-orcs that isn’t even capable of building proper weapons and tools.

”Y-you can really heal all wounds?”

The third S-ranker of the half-orc tribe, who had been silent all this time, stepped forward and asked Riya cautiously with a nervous tone.

Her body was pale and sickly; she seemed like she was suffering from some kind of hidden injury, and even her aura was unstable.

Looking at her both Riya frowned lightly and asked the old chief,

”I have been meaning to ask you this question for a while now... what’s with this half-orc woman? Her vitality is fading away from her body continuously and flowing out in the direction of that central altar of your tribe...”

”Have you guys done some kind of forbidden ritual? If things keep going like this, she won’t make it past this week...”

Even Lia nodded her head and asked in a confused tone,

”Indeed... her strings of destinies have been cut off and seem to be forcefully and roughly attached to the altar we saw earlier...”

”What have you guys done to her? If you all have done some kind of weird dark ritual, tell us everything truthfully or what’s happened to her might spread to other members of your tribe...”

Even the half-orc woman seemed like she was unaware of how severe her situation was.

And the moment Riya and Lia pointed out the flaws in her body, a look of horror and fear appeared on her face as she staggered and almost collapsed on the ground.

Thankfully, others caught her on time and helped sit down on a makeshift chair nearby.
