Devouring Evolution: I Reborn as an Arctic Wolf

Chapter 160: Chapter 137: Reorganize the Wolf Pack, Hunting the Ferocious Tiger (Subscription Request)_2

The ruthlessness and ferocity of Little Lone Wolf surpassed even that of the grey and white-flecked Wolf King.

For a while, all of the Bear Clan dared not make a sound.

As omnivorous animals, Grizzly Bears silently gnawed on moss, shrubs’ tender shoots, and roots.

And Polar Bears only dared to linger near the ice floes.

Most of the injuries on Little Lone Wolf’s body were from suppressing the remnants of a large Wolf Pack and hunting a Variant Species Lynx.

Especially that Variant Species Lynx, which was not easy to provoke,

Little Lone Wolf, leading many of the Wolf Clan, had circled it for several hunts only for it to escape.

In the end, they found the Lynx’s new den. The Wolf Pack lost more than ten wolves and Little Lone Wolf suffered serious injuries before they managed to kill the Lynx!

And these black fruits that Little Lone Wolf had were also picked from a giant Black Fruit Yan Gao Lan near the Lynx’s cave.

That giant Black Fruit Yan Gao Lan, which seemed to have evolved into Exotic Flowers not long ago, did not attack Little Lone Wolf.

Instead, it allowed Little Lone Wolf to pick more than ten fruits.

Because of his severe injuries at that time, Little Lone Wolf, needing to replenish his energy quickly, swallowed six fruits,

The pure and surging energy kept him growing rapidly over the last half month.

Little Lone Wolf brought back the remaining six fruits.

“Ao!”

Little Lone Wolf was also explaining that although he caught plenty of prey over the month, without any rewards, he was forced to take charge and distribute the prey as rewards to his subordinated Wolf Pack.

Otherwise, most of these wolves were recently recruited.

Their sense of belonging to the Wolf Pack was not strong, and they could easily scatter in disarray.

So when reporting this point, Little Lone Wolf obviously felt a bit guilty.

You must know, in the Wolf Clan, generally only the Wolf King and the Lead Wolf had the right to distribute food.

He, being merely a Beta Wolf, was far from qualified.

But seeing that Su Lin had not reacted, Little Lone Wolf gradually relaxed.

After a while,

Su Lin took Little Lone Wolf back to the cave.

As for the hundred or so Wolf Clan members, they were guarding around the cave’s periphery.

At that moment, inside the cave, the Cousin was also shocked by the sight of these hundreds of wolves.

She had never imagined that one day the Wolf Pack could reach the scale of a hundred wolves.

In Cousin’s content mindset, having a small territory like Wolf Dad and Wolf Mom with about a dozen or twenty wolves was already satisfying.

Having ample food and a peaceful life together with the Wolf Pack members was a happy thing.

As for the grand scene of hundreds of wolves, she had never even thought of it.

But with Cousin’s simple intelligence and thinking, she wouldn’t understand that in today’s complacency, the Wolf Pack would eventually become prey for others.

After all, in these days of great change, various powerful variant species were emerging constantly.

Next, Su Lin, listening to the report from Little Lone Wolf, was preparing to reward them for their merits.

Those who should be promoted, would be promoted; those who deserve rewards, would get them.

Su Lin, with his human thinking, knew better how to unite the cohesion of the Wolf Pack

Currently including the hundred or so wolves under Little Lone Wolf, plus Wolf Dad and the wolves left in cave to guard, the number wasn’t inferior to that of the large Wolf Pack from before.

But for Su Lin, this number was far from sufficient.

He planned to completely unite all the wolves nearby and even recruit the Bear Clan!

With the exception of some deeply hidden Lynxes and Arctic Foxes, he wanted all hunters of this area to submit to the Wolf Pack.

To create a truly unprecedentedly powerful Wolf Pack.

And incidentally, to see if consuming some Variant Species Flesh could cultivate more variants!

Once successful, the strength of the Wolf Pack would greatly increase once more.

Therefore, after Little Lone Wolf’s return, while Su Lin began rewarding the wolves under Little Lone Wolf for their merits, he also instructed Cousin, Xiao Hui, and Xiao Bai to lead the wolves left in the cave to unite all the wolves and bears in the vicinity!

Xiao Bai was from the Bear Clan, so the success rate of recruiting his own kind was relatively higher.

Also, sending them out to unite the nearby Wolves and Bears was to help them accumulate some credit.

Su Lin had the authority of the Wolf King and could indeed promote subordinate members at will.

But Xiao Hui, Cousin, and Xiao Bai were different from Wolf Dad.

Wolf Dad independently ruled over his Wolf Pack, and there would be no dissent.

But if Cousin, Xiao Hui, and Xiao Bai were to be forcefully promoted to a higher position, it would likely provoke considerable dissatisfaction within the Wolf Pack.

Another aspect was to once again train their battle abilities—it was far too weak compared to the combat that Little Lone Wolf had experienced.

Now Su Lin set about making sweeping reforms to the Wolf Pack.

….

And just as Su Lin began reorganizing the Wolf Pack, within Russia’s Siberian territory, one bloody, fierce battle after another was unfolding!

Gunsmoke shrouded the whole of Siberia!

“Roar!”

In Southern Siberia, an Invincible Fierce Tiger was roaring mightily,

leaping from the forest, it single-handedly smashed a military helicopter into fragments with one swipe of its paw!

Several battlefield commanders, stationed on a high mountain,

would occasionally use binoculars to look at the smoky battlefield opposite, their expressions extremely grave.

“Too brutal! This Siberian Tiger is too bloodthirsty; our ironclad blockade was almost broken through!”

The leading commander, Rodney, lowered his binoculars and let out a long breath, his face solemn.

Under Rodney’s command were three tank battalions, an artillery battalion, an infantry battalion—a total of more than 3,500 elite soldiers.
