Devouring Evolution: I Reborn as an Arctic Wolf

Chapter 153: Chapter 135: Hunting the White Whale, Wolf Pack Report.

Because those at the pinnacle of power understood the outcomes of several global hunting expeditions better than the average citizen.

In one of these, India Country mobilized heavy troops to exterminate the Bloodthirsty Python and suffered a disastrous defeat.

The Bloodthirsty Python’s formidable scale defense and extremely tenacious vitality had, during that campaign, horrified all the powerful figures in charge!

Fully armed thousands were slaughtered until blood flowed like rivers,

and afterwards, the Bloodthirsty Python led its horde of serpents on a killing spree, turning several cities into breeding grounds for snakes, a veritable human hell on earth.

There was also the time when more than thirty New Humans from South Vietnamese Country led a team, followed by a Heavy Armored Combat Brigade, to the Tropical Rainforest, planning to eradicate the Human-Skin Giant Tree and harvest its genes.

But upon entering the Tropical Rainforest, all communication equipment failed, and to this day, there has been no news.

Besides that,

the Deep Sea Alliance, formed by the various powers, dispatched more than a dozen nuclear-powered submarines.

They entered the Deep Sea to hunt the Mysterious Sea Monster but were annihilated.

In the end, the commander of the alliance sent back a heartbroken statement, “The Deep Sea, a forbidden zone for humans!”

Even the last hunt in Southern Siberia for the incredibly fast and invincible tiger, which took a whole Heavy Armored Group,

ended with the Invincible Fierce Tiger breaking through the encirclement and escaping into the forests.

Over twenty specialized alloy tanks were wrecked by the tiger and hundreds of soldiers died under its claws.

In the end, the missile troops could only blanket bomb the area where the Invincible Fierce Tiger was believed to be, but it still managed to escape into the signal-free forests.

So far, only the North African Alliance led by Egypt has made pleasant progress in hunting the Invincible Lion Group.

They captured no fewer than three Variant Species Lionesses.

One was given to the alliance of scientists as a study subject, while the flesh of the other two was prepared as fine ingredients for the enjoyment of many bigwigs of the North African Alliance.

The flesh of Variant Species is full of abundant energy, and in eating it, many big figures not only overcame their physical ailments but also strengthened their bodies; one middle-aged person even successfully unlocked his genetic shackles.

This astonishing sight sent the many bigwigs of the North African Alliance into an ecstatic frenzy,

and they began mobilizing even more elite soldiers to surround and suppress the lion group on a larger scale.

However, this single piece of good news did not alleviate everyone’s concerns.

In the end, it was decided to step out of the fortresses, as the resources within were not enough to sustain such a large population.

Yet for areas like the Arctic, Northern Siberia, the Caspian Sea, the Black Sea, and other regions where signals were lost,

they maintained caution and exploration, without immediate plans for clearing!

After all, no one knew exactly what kinds of mutated creatures had emerged in these signal-lost areas.

It was at this time, after the military’s top figure had given a rousing speech, that the elite soldiers in the Human Fortress received one order after another and began to pour out of the fortress en masse.

After a passionate mobilization speech, the eyes of many soldiers were filled with fervent fighting spirit.

But those sheltered within the fortress, who received filtered information, were unaware of the terrifying opponents they would face upon leaving.

…

It was also at this time,

that Su Lin, from the Pole Heart, was returning to his Wolf Pack.

The distance wasn’t short, and it took him over an hour to re-enter his territory.

Upon seeing the familiar landscape, he finally felt his expression relax a little.

Whether human or animal, arriving in a familiar place often brought a sense of relief.

On this journey, as Su Lin was approaching his territory,

he entered a shallow ice area and hunted down a mature White Whale.

The White Whale is a smaller species among whales.

Its forehead bulges outwards smoothly, its beak is very short, with broad lips,

and its body color is very pale, a distinct white.

It is this unique whiteness that gives it a higher aesthetic value than other whales.

The swimming speed of the White Whale is not fast, making them a common prey for Polar Bears.

Su Lin had not yet tried eating this species.

So this time, he hunted one with the intention of tasting something new!

Considering that a Seal of Level Seven or Eight could bring him several hundred Evolution Points,

this Level Sixteen White Whale should at least yield a considerable amount of Evolution Points.

Su Lin, who was now looking to advance again, needed a massive amount of Evolution Points.

But consuming new species was not only for acquiring Evolution Points, it’s also about obtaining their Genetic Fragments.

Regarding the so-called Genetic Hierarchy, Su Lin had roughly figured it out over this long period of time.

Indeed, this was a new Life Hierarchy brought about by consuming the genetic flesh of myriad creatures.

The advancement in his Life Hierarchy had made Su Lin’s latent combat power extremely formidable.

Now at the most initial stage of Life Hierarchy, he possessed such intense latent strength,

Su Lin was eager to see the astonishing boost he would get after his next advancement.

Currently possessing a Strength Value nearing four hundred, Su Lin was dragging a White Whale that weighed over a ton without much effort.

Before long, he was not far from the cave.

And he was spotted by the patrolling Wolfess.

Delighted, the Wolfess howled and rapidly dashed towards Su Lin.

This Wolfess, the mother of Grey White Little Wolf, naturally recognized Su Lin’s scent.

If it hadn’t been for Su Lin’s shelter back then, who knows if the injured Wolfess would have even survived to this day.
