Devouring Evolution: I Reborn as an Arctic Wolf

Chapter 108: Chapter 102 Grizzly Bear Standoff.

This time, his strength skyrocketed like a rocket when he came to this ice mountain!

At this moment, Su Lin, looking at the corpse of the Ice Bug King on the ground,

started to drag the body, preparing to return to the cave.

The corpse of the Ice Bug King weighed five or six hundred jin,

a trivial amount for Su Lin, who now had the strength to deliver two or three tons of force with a swipe of his paw.

Su Lin effortlessly picked up the Ice Bug King and swiftly made his way out of the ice mountain.

…

Meanwhile,

the battle between the Variant Species Grizzly Bear and the Polar Bear couple had also escalated into a full-blown frenzy!

“Roar!”

The Variant Species Grizzly Bear went insane, towering over four meters tall as it stood upright, and its thick bear paws with claw spikes plunged into the body of the male Polar Bear.

The eyes of the Variant Species Grizzly Bear gleamed with a mad ferocity, signaling that if you won’t submit, then death is the only option!

The fights for mates among animals are often more frequent and bloody than struggles for territory!

Rip!

With a ferocious force, its two paws tore apart the male Polar Bear, which was a mighty three meters tall.

The fresh blood gushed out from the gaping wounds of the Polar Bear, spraying like a shower of blood in a small area around them.

The blood and viscera covered the Variant Species Grizzly Bear, accentuating its already fearsome and horrifying aspect.

It advanced step by step toward the sole remaining female Polar Bear, its eyes also filled with bone-chilling killing intent!

If she submitted and mated with it to reproduce, it might spare the female Polar Bear’s life!

But if she resisted again, she would undoubtedly be killed!

“Roar!”

The female Polar Bear wailed, desperation filling her eyes.

This Variant Species Grizzly Bear was too strong, an almost insurmountable adversary for her.

Yet if she fled, the cub in the cave was bound to die.

This left the female Polar Bear torn with indecision.

And as the cub in the cave nuzzled her body,

the female Polar Bear glanced back at her offspring, which gestured with its little bear paws, signaling its determination to stand and fight alongside her.

This ignited the motherly love inside the female Polar Bear, dwarfing all fear.

Without any further hesitation, she launched into a seemingly mad attack on the Variant Species Grizzly Bear.

“Roar!”

Her low, muffled growl rose once more, fraught with defiance of death against the Variant Species Grizzly Bear, and a reminder for her cub to make a quick escape.

“Roar!”

Facing such an obstinate female Polar Bear, the Variant Species Grizzly Bear let out a furious growl.

It closed in on the female Polar Bear and, swinging its massive paws, measuring thirty or forty centimeters thick, dealt a vicious blow towards the Polar Bear.

Thump!

Its paw struck the female Polar Bear’s chest, sending her staggering back several meters before she collapsed with a thunderous crash.

Ice and snow flew about, and on her chest, horrific wounds inflicted by the Variant Species Grizzly Bear’s claw spikes gaped open.

The wounds had split the flesh and fat wide, revealing sinister white bones.

This time, the Variant Species Grizzly Bear was truly ruthless; such a fierce blow nearly cost the female Polar Bear half of her life.

Yet the female Polar Bear struggled to her feet once more, letting the terrible wound on her chest bleed freely.

Such a wound, even without continuing to fight for her life, would be hard to heal in the icy wilderness of the Arctic.

So, with a heavy heart, the female Polar Bear gave a low, mournful howl to her cub, signaling it to run fast.

Motherly love is profound, and the female Polar Bear resolved to use her life to create a chance for her young to survive.

Before the male Polar Bear died, she had believed they could stand against the Variant Species Grizzly Bear together.

But reality had dealt them a bloody lesson.

The Variant Species Grizzly Bear was so powerful it was beyond their comprehension.

When the serious fighting started, it brutally tore the male Polar Bear apart in a frenzy.

The scattered blood and viscera still lay not far off.

The female Polar Bear was preparing to be viciously slain by the grizzly, readying herself with a defensive stance particular to bears, hoping to obstruct the beast for just a moment.

But still, she underestimated the Variant Species Grizzly Bear.

The Variant Species Grizzly Bear towering more than four meters in height emanated an extremely formidable aura,

striding forward step by step, its eyes brimming with piercing murderous intent!

“Roar!”

As the Variant Species Grizzly Bear roared furiously, its thick bear paws smashed down directly in front of the female Polar Bear!

Possessing invincible strength, Grizzly Bear never deigned to exploit an opponent’s weakness!

Only by crushing the adversary head-on could it feel a profound sense of exhilaration and accomplishment!

“Boom!”

The hefty blow, unleashing a force of thousands of pounds, exploded with all its might.

It sent the female Polar Bear, who was defending desperately, flying with just one hit.

A mere eight or nine hundred pounds, the female Polar Bear stood no chance against such a ferocious force.

Flung over a dozen meters away, she crashed to the ground with a thunderous thud.

The ice layer beneath her trembled slightly,

and the overwhelming shock from the strike caused the female Polar Bear to bleed profusely from her nose and mouth.

The wound on her chest bled incessantly, dying her white fur bright red.

Having endured such savage blows, the female Polar Bear appeared unlikely to survive.

Her internal organs were probably shattered,

yet she still struggled to rise, trying to get to her feet.

She wished to fight for just a bit more time for her cub.

Eventually, she managed to haul herself off the ice with difficulty; but before she could stead herself, the Variant Species Grizzly Bear had already arrived at her side, and then dealt another brutal blow.

“Boom!”

This time it struck her bear head directly,

the several thousand pounds of force causing blood to furiously spurt from her eyes, ears, nose, and mouth.

This blow completely extinguished the life of the female Polar Bear,

and no matter how much she worried about her cub or wanted to stop Grizzly Bear, she simply couldn’t stand any longer.

She collapsed with a soft thud,

her whole body spasming,

and the copious blood that flowed out stained the icy ground red.

Watching the now-certainly-dead female Polar Bear, Grizzly Bear just indifferently walked past.

The violent and ferocious aura on its body did not fade in the slightest!

Since it had already killed, it would naturally finish the job completely!

The cub could not be spared either!

The massive Grizzly Bear followed the Polar Bear Cub at a leisurely pace.

Through its footsteps, it caused endless panic in the cub, wishing for it to die in terror.

However, very soon,

after the Polar Bear Cub had bolted for a few hundred meters, the Variant Species Grizzly Bear’s footsteps came to a halt,

its pitch-black eyes showed a gravely serious expression as it gazed ahead.

The Polar Bear Cub, still unaware of anything in its panic and sorrow,

just kept its head low, wailing miserably while it ran on all fours.

But after running for a hundred steps, it slammed hard into a pure white paw as large as snow.

“Boom!”

The collision made its little head dizzy,

the Polar Bear Cub, enduring the discomfort, hastily looked up only to realize that the owner of the giant paw was a White Wolf.

This White Wolf was so large it was beyond imagination, with a single paw standing one and a half meters tall—bigger than the entire body of the Polar Bear Cub.

And with a body two meters tall and over four meters long, it was truly a colossal beast.

The terrifying aura of murder emanating from the White Wolf caused the Polar Bear Cub to shiver uncontrollably on the spot, unable to take another step.

The White Wolf was also dragging a massive meat worm in its mouth, clearly having just returned from a hunt.

But upon sighting the equally gigantic Grizzly Bear across from it, the White Wolf immediately dropped the Ice Bug King it was holding in its mouth onto the snowy ground.

Its amber Wolf Eyes clashed fiercely against the Grizzly Bear under the cold Arctic sky!

From both, an invincible and brutal aura rose wildly!
