Yoshitomo Kyomoto’s words attracted the attention of the others. Their gazes landed on him.

“Baka!”

Yoshitomo Kyomoto could not control his anger and cursed loudly.

“What happened?”

After hanging up, Lin Yi asked.

“While I was away, our headquarters was ambushed by Sato.”

“Our two sides are allies now. How could Sato do such a thing?” Iwasaki Masataka said.

“We might have been used. The other party never planned on cooperating fully. They just wanted to use us.” Yoshitomo Kyomoto’s expression was gloomy. “His true goal was to attack my subordinate’s territory.”

“F*ck, I won’t let that old man Sato off!”

“The Yamaguchi-gumi is now divided into three groups. How are the forces of these three groups?” Lin Yi asked slowly.

“The largest and strongest is Sato. He has inherited half of Yamaguchi-gumi’s resources.” Mina Ito said.

“Taro Karasawa and Yoshitomo Kyomoto, who have submitted to the president, are in similar situations. There’s not much difference between them.”

Lin Yi nodded thoughtfully. He had a rough idea of the situation.

No wonder they both needed to rely on the Mitsui and Mitsubishi forces, or they would be swallowed up sooner or later.

But the problem lay here.

With Iwasaki Masataka’s support, Yoshitomo Kyomoto had enough power to rival Sato Yuu. Why did Sato Yuu dare to attack Yoshitomo Kyomoto?

Who gave him the courage?

Suddenly, Lin Yi’s eyes widened, feeling this situation was very familiar.

Sato Yuu’s approach today was identical to what the Hongmen did back then!

Actively breaking the tripartite balance to achieve unification!

But!

To ensure his plan’s success, there had to be a key factor—support from behind the scenes!

Just then, Lin Yi noticed a terrifying detail!

Sato Yuu chose this moment to attack Yoshitomo Kyomoto’s territory, which might not be a coincidence!

He might have already known that Yoshitomo Kyomoto was brought here, so he used this quick and decisive method to solve the problem!

In other words, there might be Sato Yuu’s spies outside Mitsui Manor.

This Sato Yuu was indeed cunning.

“Sato Yuu has already attacked Yoshitomo Kyomoto, so Taro Karasawa won’t have just been left alone,” Lin Yi said.

“Tell me his address, I’ll go there now.”

“No, it’s too dangerous,” Caie Mitsui said.

“I can send people to handle it.”

“I’ll go personally. There are some things I need to deal with face to face.”

It was clear now that someone was supporting Sato Yuu from behind. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have the courage to start this conflict.

So Lin Yi needed to find the person hiding behind the scenes because they had already set their sights on Caie Mitsui.

Additionally, he had come to Sunrise Land with the intention of consolidating the Yamaguchi-gumi under the Mitsui family.

From now on, Sunrise Land would be his backyard.

With this in mind, Lin Yi looked at Mina Ito. “Go notify Taro Karasawa and have him gather his men. It’s better to take the initiative than to sit and wait.”

“Understood.”

Mina Ito left, and Caie Mitsui felt conflicted and worried because she knew she couldn’t persuade Lin Yi.

“If Mr. Lin insists on going, I have something for you. Please take it with you; otherwise, I won’t be at ease.”

“What is it?”

“Mr. Lin, please follow me.”

Led by Caie Mitsui, the two went inside the villa and up to the third floor, to the innermost room.

As the door opened, Lin Yi saw directly in front of him a green long sword hanging on the wall.

It hung there quietly, exuding an aura of menace.

“Your family has this kind of thing?” Lin Yi was curious.

“This is the Mitsui family’s treasure, one of the Five Swords Under Heaven—Mikazuki Munechika.”

Looking at the famous sword in front of her, Caie Mitsui’s gaze softened.

“My ancestors relied on this sword to carve a path and establish the Mitsui family’s status today. So, generations of Mitsui retainers regard it as the guardian deity of the Mitsui family. I hope Mr. Lin can take it with him into battle. With the spirits of the Mitsui family watching over you, you will surely be victorious and return triumphant.”

Lin Yi said nothing and slowly approached the legendary sword, Mikazuki Munechika.

He took the long sword down, feeling its weight in his hands.

Then, gripping the hilt, he drew the blade.

The sword made a whistling sound as it was unsheathed, and the blade’s surface shone, reflecting Lin Yi’s eyes.

“It’s indeed a good sword. I’ll give it a try today.”

“I wish Mr. Lin a smooth journey. I’ll wait for your triumphant return.”

“Alright!”

Lin Yi took the long sword and left, escorted by Mina Ito.

About twenty minutes later, Mina Ito brought Lin Yi to meet with Taro Karasawa.

In terms of appearance and build, Taro Karasawa wasn’t particularly striking, but his serious demeanor left a strong impression.

Lin Yi glanced around and estimated that he had brought over 200 men.

This lineup seemed sufficient.

“Mr. Lin!”

Seeing Lin Yi, Taro Karasawa and his men bowed in unison.

They knew the man before them held a high status and dared not show any neglect.

“Yoshitomo Kyomoto is in trouble. Let’s strike while the iron is hot and catch them off guard.”

“We follow Mr. Lin’s orders.”

“Let’s go.”

After a brief exchange, the group got into their vehicles and headed towards the Grand Hotel in Shinjayka.

Originally, this hotel was Yamaguchi-gumi property.

After Yushi Mitsui’s death, Sato Yuu took it over as his headquarters.

About a hundred meters from the hotel, Lin Yi had the car stop and spoke to Taro Karasawa.

“Are you sure Sato Yuu is here?”

“Yes!” Taro Karasawa affirmed.

“The three factions know each other’s movements well, but due to mutual constraints, we couldn’t act. But we always keep basic information on hand.”

“Good to hear.” Lin Yi said calmly.

“Tell everyone to prepare here and wait for my command.”

“Does Mr. Lin plan to act alone?” Mina Ito asked nervously.

“Miss Mitsui instructed us to ensure your safety. Let me accompany you.”

“No need. You’d only be a burden. I can handle it alone.”

With that, Lin Yi took the Mitsui family’s treasured sword and got out of the car.
