Chapter 911 - Chapter 911 Fall Guy

Chapter 911 Fall Guy

“It seems like our family’s fish are being caught by others,” said Ji Qingyan.

“Let’s go take a look.”

The two of them got out of the car and walked toward the fish pond.

Upon seeing her approach, the men who were fishing all turned around.

!!
The girls from the city were indeed different. They were really beautiful!

Lin Yi walked up to the middle-aged man and said with a smile, “Did you get permission to fish here?”

The middle-aged man held a cigarette in his mouth. “Are you interested? It’s 200 yuan a day. You can fish here as you please.”

Lin Yi and Ji Qingyan exchanged glances.

He didn’t even put the money into his pocket. Who was he giving it to?

“Who are you giving the money to?”

The middle-aged man pointed diagonally in front of him. “Do you see the domineering people over there? The person in charge is sitting inside.”

Lin Yi looked up and saw an old white Land Rover parked fifty meters ahead. All four doors were open, making it look out of place compared with the other cars.

“Let’s go and take a look.”

Lin Yi brought Ji Qingyan over to Land Rover. He realized that there were three men playing the card game Fight the Landlord in the car.

Moreover, they were not old.

One of them was in his thirties, and the other two were in their early twenties.

When they saw Lin Yi and Ji Qingyan, they stopped what they were doing.

“Dude, do you want to fish? It’s 200 a day.”

The older man said.

“I’m not fishing. I just want to ask, does this place belong to you guys? Why are you charging to fish here?”

Upon hearing this, the expressions of the three people changed. These people did not look like they were here to fish at all.

“Dude, what do you mean?”

“I’m just asking. I don’t mean anything.”

“Of course it’s our place. If it’s not, would we dare to charge the people here?”

“You’re spouting nonsense. This fish pond clearly belongs to our family,” Ji Qingyan retorted. “What right do you have to charge us?”

“Your family?”

The expression of the man in the lead did not look good.

“Are you the people who bought the Zhao family’s house?”

“That’s right.” Lin Yi said.

“Their house, the greenhouse, and this fish pond are all mine. You don’t have my permission, yet you’re charging people for fishing here. Who asked you to do this?”

“Bro, calm down.” The leader said.

“We’re just helping someone else keep an eye on things here. Even if you try to reason with us, we won’t be able to do anything.”

“Alright, I won’t make things difficult for you. Call the manager over. I’ll talk to him personally.”

“Alright, alright, alright. Wait a moment. I’ll call my brother now.”

The lead man took out his phone and said, “Brother Qiang, the person who bought Old Zhao’s house is here. He said that this fish pond belongs to him and doesn’t want us to set up our operations here. Hurry up and deal with it.”

“Yes, yes, yes. We’re here. You’ll see us when you get here.”

After giving instructions, the man in the lead hung up.

Ten minutes later, a Land Rover drove over from afar and four people alighted.

The man in the lead was in his forties. He had a bag on his arm and was slightly chubby. There were three people behind him. They walked towards Lin Yi and extended their hands.

“Hello, my name is Yu Deqiang. I own the largest seed distribution office in town.” One shouldn’t slap a smiling person. Lin Yi reached out symbolically and said. “What’s going on? You’re occupying my pond and charging people to use it. I don’t think I gave you the authorization to do this.”

“Actually, I’ve been looking for you to discuss fish this with you, but you hadn’t shown up yet. I had no choice but to do this.”

“What do you want to discuss with me?”

“I’ve taken a fancy to your fish pond. How much did you buy it for? I’ll give you tens of thousands more than you paid for it. Sell it to me.”

“You’re being too wishful.” Lin Yi said.

“It’s impossible for me to sell it. Besides, you’d better give me an explanation for this.”

“Don’t beat this matter to death. Let’s discuss it properly.” Yu Deqiang said.

“If you don’t want to sell the house and land, you can sell this fish pond to me. I’ve been eyeing it for a long time.”

“Are you f*cking crazy? Don’t you understand what I’m saying?” Lin Yi was too lazy to talk nonsense and directly scolded.

“I’m f*cking asking you how to resolve this. Who says I’m going to sell it?”

Yu Deqiang was stunned by the scolding. A lackey behind him walked out and pointed at Lin Yi’s nose.

“Be more polite with your words! He’s showing you enough respect, isn’t he?”

Piak!

Lin Yi raised his hand and slapped the underling’s face.

“Who the f*ck are you talking to?” Seeing his subordinates beaten to the ground, Yu Deqiang looked at Lin Yi cautiously. He felt that this man was not easy to deal with. “Since it’s your territory, I won’t fight you for it. I’ll get them to pack up tomorrow,” Yu Deqiang said.

“Oh, is that it?”

“What else do you want?”

“After fishing here for so many days and catching all the fish in the fish pond, you want to leave just like that?”

“Brother, don’t go too far. I’ve been in Four Corner Town for so many years, and there aren’t many people who dare to shout in front of me. I’ve already given you enough face by doing this today. Let’s each take a step back. There’s no need to make things unpleasant.” Lin Yi glanced at the fish pond. “I won’t argue with you anymore. Put in a hundred thousand yuan worth of fish eggs and we’ll call it even.”

“What nonsense are you talking about? I didn’t even earn 100,000 yuan…’ Whoosh!

Lin Yi raised his leg and kicked Yu Deqiang.

“Watch your words. Give me back my money’s worth you f*cking dick.”

Ji Qingyan held her forehead helplessly. When was Lin Yi going to change his bad habit of cursing?

If she had a child in the future, wouldn’t he lead him astray?

“Don’t be so f*cking shameless. Beat him up!”

Yu Deqiang called out to the others and rushed over.

However, it didn’t end well either. Lin Yi beat them all down. “Brother, don’t do it.” Yu Deqiang said.

“I admit defeat today. I’ll give you 100,000 yuan for the fish eggs.’ “That’s more like it.”

“Get rid of these people. If I see anyone coming here to fish again, I’ll look for you.”

“I’ll kick them out right now.” Lin Yi didn’t care about what happened after that.

He would be back in a few days. If there were any more problems, he could still look for them.

After leaving the fish pond, Lin Yi and Ji Qingyan went to the greenhouse to take a look around.

It was about the size of two basketball courts, and they felt that it was just right. With Lin Yi’s physical fitness, he could handle it by himself. Once he caught He Yuanyuan, things would be even easier.

At this time, He Yuanyuan never would have thought that the blame would fall on her when she had done nothing wrong. After investigating the situation here, the two of them drove back.

“What do you think we should plant in that greenhouse?” Ji Qingyan asked. “Let’s plant some fruits,” Lin Yi said, “It’s healthier to grow them yourself. It’s better than buying them outside.”

“That sounds like a pretty good plan.” Ring ring ring!

Lin Yi’s phone rang. It was Guo Ningyue. “Brother, are you busy?”
