Chapter 905 No One Can Leave

For the next ten minutes, the private room was silent.

No one made any big movements. They just sat there quietly.

It seemed that the silence would only be broken when the waiter returned with the wine.

Soon, the waiter jogged in with a wooden tablet in her hand. There were more than ten bottles of wine on it. They were all very plain bottles of Erguotou. They were typically sold for around ten yuan a bottle in the market. There was nothing special about them.

!!
“Pour the wine.”

The waitress was trembling with fear as she filled three glasses of wine.

Liang Ruoxu was the first to raise her glass and smiled at Andy Grove.

“Mr. Grove, on behalf of the Zhonghai City Commission, I would like to propose a toast to the two of you. I wish you a successful cooperation and hope that you can come to Zhonghai to invest more. We will also give you corresponding preferential treatment in terms of policies.”

“Thank you, Mayor Liang. I’m also looking forward to this collaboration.”

Andy Grove, who knew a little about the Huaxian dinner ritual, picked up his glass.

However, Lin Yi reached out and pulled Liang Ruoxu’s glass down.

“Don’t drink this glass of wine. I’ll accompany him.”

Andy Grove’s expression didn’t waver, neither did he look displeased by the situation. He simply raised his glass sagely.

“Mr. Lin, you’re really the greatest scientist I’ve ever seen. You’re actually able to develop the source code of Chip 3.0 alone. This is something none of us expected, so I’ll toast you. I hope our collaboration will succeed.”

Lin Yi held his glass, but the moment they clinked, he pushed Andy Grove’s glass down midway.

With that, Lin Yi knocked the bottom of his glass against Andy’s.

“I’ve already said that this meal will be based on Huaxia’s rules. If you want to clink glasses with me on equal footing, I’m afraid this won’t do. Your status isn’t high enough.”

This time Andy Grove couldn’t stand it any longer.

Although they clinked glasses, he didn’t drink the wine. He slowly placed it on the table.

“Mr. Lin, I’m here with sincerity, so I hope that you can be sincere too. Only then will there be a possibility of cooperation.”

Lin Yi smiled and put down his glass.

“Old thing, do you think that this collaboration will definitely succeed because you called her over? Or do you think that I’m forgetful and can quickly forget about being shot?”

‘Lin Yi was shot?’ Liang Ruoxu’s expression changed drastically. She stared coldly at Andy Grove, hoping that Andy would give her an explanation.

“Mr. Lin, I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Andy Grove said.

“I only came here this time to discuss a collaboration with you. I don’t have any other intentions.”

Lin Yi played with the wine glass in his hand as the corners of his mouth curled up. His smile was terrifying.

“Now that things have come to this, even if I kill you, my gunshot wound will still be there.

If you are willing to give me some compensation, I am willing to let bygones be bygones. However, it would not be right for you to play dumb with me.”

With that, Lin Yi picked up his wine glass and slowly walked behind Andy Grove.

“And your daughter’s life is still in my hands.

One phone call from me and she can go meet God right now. Do you believe me or not?”

With that, Lin Yi poured a full glass of white wine over Grove’s head.

“Oh my God! What are you doing? You’re too rude!”

“Protect Mr. Grove!”

Koloss roared and shielded Andy Grove behind him with the other five bodyguards.

Lin Yi was afraid that they would accidentally injure Liang Ruoxu, so he didn’t take any aggressive actions.

Instead, he pulled her behind himself and said to the waiter behind him, “Bring Mayor Liang out.”

“Lin Yi, you…”‘ “Get out of here. This is none of your business.”

“Mayor Liang, let’s go. You know President Lin’s temper,” the waiter persuaded.

Liang Ruoxu naturally knew Lin Yi’s temper. If he got angry, ten bulls wouldn’t be able to hold him back.

In such an environment, it was useless no matter what she said.

Helpless, Liang Ruoxu and the waiter walked out of the room, leaving Lin Yi alone. “Old thing, I already know about you and Cymer. Intel has 24% of their shares. Do you think this amount is worth your lives?”

“Mr. Lin, I really didn’t expect you to do such a bold thing.”

Andy Grove said what was on his mind. He was really surprised. The man in front of him was different from anyone he had ever met.

It was completely unreasonable and without any rules.

He knew that the truth of the matter had already been revealed. If it wasn’t for Liang Ruoxu, he wouldn’t have been able to conceal it.

His thoughts were very simple. After facilitating this collaboration, he would provide a certain amount of compensation and this matter would be over.

However, he did not expect this man to fall out with him at the table.

“That’s nothing. I dare to do even bigger things,” Lin Yi said.

“And don’t doubt my ability. Even if you die, can push the blame away. Zhonghai is my territory. There’s nothing I don’t dare to do here.”

“I have known about Cymer a long time ago, but I couldn’t possibly give you their shares,” Andy Grove said.

“It was indeed me who arranged for someone to attack you. This is my fault. I’m willing to compensate you. Please believe in my sincerity.”

I “It’s fine if you don’t want to give me Cymer’s shares.” Lin Yi shrugged.

“Just give me Intel shares.” Intel was Cymer’s majority shareholder. If Lin Yi held Intel’s shares, he would be indirectly holding Cymer’s shares.

Moreover, there was another benefit to doing this. It would hide the information even more and would be more beneficial to his development. “That’s impossible. I may have done something wrong, but I wouldn’t agree to such a rude request.”

“Alright, let’s be fair. I took a shot from you guys, so I’ll return it now,” Lin Yi said. “But I can give you a choice. Are you going to take this shot, or will your daughter?”

“Mr. Lin, do we really have to go so far? We’re all businessmen. Can’t we sit down and talk for the sake of benefits?”

“I, Lin Yi, am a vengeful person. Do you think I’ll reconcile with you over some money?”

“Then is there nothing to talk about?”

“No.”

“In that case, I’ll be on my way,” Andy Grove said.

“But I’m going to the embassy. If you dare to make a move against me, you’ll definitely start a feud between the two countries. You don’t have a chance.”

“Then let me tell you, none of you will be able to walk out of this room today.”

“Huaxian, I know this is your hotel, but no security here can stop us,” Koloss said.

Lin Yi shook his head. “There’s no need to call security. I can do it alone.”

“Do it!”

Koloss waved his hand, and the white subordinates behind him rushed toward Lin Yi at lightning speed.

Lin Yi stood on the spot and kicked the white man out of the window with his left foot.

Whoosh!

Everyone in the room could hear the shrill scream clearly!
