I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 842 - 842 I Want Cymer Stocks

842 I Want Cymer Stocks

A lustful sound coming from the computer shocked everyone in the restaurant. They all looked toward the second floor.

Were all beauties this crazy?

Doing such a thing in public at a three-star Michelin restaurant?

Moreover, it was a man and two women. Could it be that the master of Game 91 was here?

!!
When Andy saw the scene on the computer, she felt terrible!

Did he think that these movies could make Intel lose its position as the world’s number one?!

“Um… I’m really sorry. I gave you the wrong USB drive.”

Lin Yi quickly pulled the thumb drive out and took out another one from his pocket. “This is the one.”

Andy took Lin Yi’s USB drive again, but this time, she was much more cautious.

However, when she opened the USB drive, her expression changed drastically.

“This is the basic source code of the Chip 3.0, and we’ve already applied for the patent. I won’t say anything about what this means.” Lin Yi smiled.

“What do you think will happen if I sell this thing to AMD?”

“Code 3.0!”

Not only Andy, but even Zhao Wen’s expression became exceptionally surprised.

Intel had been developing it for more than two years, but they had yet to come up with the 3.0 technology. How did he do it?

“That’s impossible. Longxin’s scale can’t compare to Intel’s at all. Moreover, Longxin’s main focus is on the development of the mobile phone system. It’s impossible for it to develop 3.0 technology.”

“Do you really think that my Longxin researches those useless things every day?” Lin Yi smiled.

“Or do you think that I don’t know anything other than how to act cool every day?”

Andy suddenly raised her head, her eyes filled with disbelief.

“Could it be that you developed this yourself?!”

Lin Yi shrugged. “Does it matter? All that matters is that you know that what you’re looking at now is the code for the Chip 3.0 technology.”

Zhao Wen was silent.

She knew that Lin Yi had been silent for so long without moving. He had to be thinking of a way to counterattack.

However, she never thought that he would actually take this kind of thing out!

This card was no longer as simple as bringing out a bomb!

It was more akin to launching a nuclear weapon!

Once he sold this thing to AMD, the structure of the world’s chip industries would change!

Lin Yi was still Lin Yi. No one knew what trump cards he had in his pocket.

If they were lucky, Intel might be crushed to death.

If they were unlucky, there might not even be any traces of them left after.

Andy’s current expression was proof of this.

“Okay, now we can sit on equal footing and talk about things,” Andy said.

“Mr. Lin, you’re undoubtedly a qualified businessman, so you can also see that although we’ve brought you to court, we don’t have any ill intentions. Therefore, I hope that you can calmly look at this matter.”

“How do you want me to calm down?” Lin Yi smiled.

“You have a military advisor like Zhao Wen by your side, and you actually crossed the ocean to show off to me. You’re the one who isn’t calm right now, right?”

“I don’t mean that.” Andy’s demeanor and aura were much weaker than before. “We can talk about the Chip 3.0.”

“Alright, tell me how you plan to negotiate this. I’ll give you a chance.”

“With Longxin’s standard, you know that even if you keep this technology, you won’t be able to use it. I hope you can sell this technology to us.”

“But I’m not short of money.”

“Could Mr. Lin really not be interested in money?” Andy said incredulously.

“I know you’re a rich man, but you’re still not yet famous in Huaxia. The position of the richest man is still a long way away from you.”

Lin Yi shook his head. “Someone asked me before if I wanted to be the richest man in Huaxia, but I rejected them. So, I’m not the capitalist you think I am. I have enough money for me to spend contentedly.”

“Then how do you want to proceed? Can you tell me what you think?”

“Give me something in exchange.”

“Exchange? What does Mr. Lin want?”

“Cymer shares.”

Andy’s expression changed slightly, and she said firmly,

“That’s impossible. Cymer is a wholly different entity, so we can’t trade their shares with you.”

“If that’s the case, then it seems like I’m putting you in a difficult position.”

“It’s good that Mr. Lin realizes this. We can talk about other conditions.”

“I’m fully booked today. I’ll talk to you some other time. I’ve also got an appointment with the AMD guys. Let’s see what they can offer me.”

“Mr. Lin, you can’t do this!”

“I didn’t f*cking say I wanted to kill your entire family. Why can’t I do that?” Lin Yi cursed.

“I gave you a chance to talk here, but you’re babbling about meaningless things. Do you think everyone else is so stupid?”

Zhao Wen looked at Lin Yi and felt that the most unique thing about Lin Yi was the way he spoke with such grace.

After meeting so many men, he was still extremely unique.

Andy didn’t dare to say anything after being scolded by Lin Yi because she was currently situation is a very passive situation!

“I think your Intel’s laboratory will get this thing out soon. Even if I sell it to AMD, it won’t have any substantial impact on you.” Lin Yi said.

“But you have to know that it took you more than two years to barely make a working prototype. I only took three months. With your ability, it will take at least two years to make the 4.0 technology. Moreover, I will only need half a year at most. As long as I want, I can ensure your products fall one generation behind AMD in a year at most. So, you decide what to do. I’ll only give you half a month to decide.”

With that, Lin Yi pulled out the USB drive on the computer and turned to leave.

“President Lin, you’re leaving just like that?” Zhao Wen stood up and asked.

“I’ve already finished acting cool. What’s the point sticking around?”

After Lin Yi left, Zhao Wen looked at Andy helplessly.

He had told her everything that needed to be said, but she was stubborn and didn’t want to budge. There was nothing he could do now.

“Now you believe what I said, right?” Zhao Wen said, “Don’t be fooled by his casual attitude, Lin Yi is not someone to be messed with.”

“I underestimated him. I never thought he’d be this good.”

“It doesn’t matter if you overestimated him. You’re not on the same level as him at all.”

“No, if I really wanted to, he wouldn’t be able to threaten me on this,” Andy said. “Now, we’re going to intensify our R&D, so that this won’t happen again.”

“Can’t threaten you?”

Andy smiled. “You have to know that my computer is different from other people’s. When I was checking those files, I had already copied them into my device. As long as I want to, I can go back and organize them. That way, I can easily obtain the 3.0 technology.”

“Really?” Zhao Wen looked surprised. As expected, the techniques of a superior were even more despicable than she had imagined.

“Of course it’s true. Take a look if you don’t believe me.”

Andy turned on his computer. “It’s all here…”

Before she could finish, Andy and Zhao Wen stared at the screen with their mouths agape, as if they had been petrified.

The moment Andy turned on the screen, they were greeted by the computer’s blue screen as Chinese characters floated out.

“Idiot, you want to copy my code?”
