Chapter 816 - 816 Falling into a Disadvantage

816 Falling into a Disadvantage

“I think it’s about time.”

Tian Yan stood up with a smile and tugged on her short skirt.

Although the design was similar to what she usually wore to work, if one looked closely, they would notice that it was three to five centimeters shorter than her usual work dress.

Coupled with her well-rounded long legs, she was definitely a killer of the straight men in the live stream.

!!
Seeing Tian Yan walking towards him, Lin Yi was a little puzzled. Why did she come over for no reason?

Tian Yan stood behind Lin Yi and Zhang Xiaoyu gracefully.

Her appearance also caused a stir in the live stream.

“F*ck, who is this person? I saw her just now. This curvy figure is simply in love.”

“This is murderoous!”

“This is a real mature woman. It’s fortunate that I just bought two bottles of Nutri-Express energy drinks, otherwise I wouldn’t know how to get through tonight.”

“Let me introduce myself first. I’m Tian Yan, the vice president of Didi. I’m also one of the invited guest for this live stream.”

“D*mn, this masked man is awesome. He actually found such a person to be his guest. This is much more impressive than those celebrities.”

Lin Yi smiled and understood.

When Ji Qingyan said that Tian Yan had something to discuss with her, it was probably about these things.

Tian Yan’s appearance this time was not just to help Lin Yi sell goods, but also to promote Didi.

Previously, in the office, Tian Yan had asked him what kind of outfit he liked. Today, she had shortened her dress. Therefore, she had probably prepared specifically for this live stream.

“I didn’t come here for nothing today. I’m prepared to give everyone some benefits. Every user who places an order can exchange it for a 10 yuan free taxi coupon on Didi through your order number. There’s a limited number of coupons, valued at a total of 80 million yuan. I hope everyone can support Brother Mask’s live stream.”

Tian Yan’s appearance brought huge popularity and traffic to the live stream.

Beauties were always eye-catching, not to mention Tian Yan, who was chubby but not greasy. She was almost every man’s ideal type.

In addition, she had also given them a 10 yuan taxi coupon. With this in mind, the price of the goods was almost the same as in other people’s live streams.

In that one minute, more than 50,000 units were sold. This was a crazy number.

However, a few minutes later, the speed at which orders were being placed gradually slowed down. At the same time, the momentum picked up again.

“Even if you subsidize a 10 yuan taxi ticket, the price is about the same as other sellers. Wouldn’t it be better to save 10 yuan directly than be force to use this taxi coupon?”

The people in the live stream naturally knew this, and the people who placed the order were all essentially Lin Yi’s hardcore fans. Despite this, the passers-by were still very rational.

That was because they were more keen to directly save 10 yuan than get a 10 yuan taxi coupon.

At this point, Lin Yi couldn’t retaliate.

What they said made sense.

In terms of price-performance ratio, what he did was indeed not good enough.

Zhang Xiaoyu panicked a little when she saw that the sales of the goods had only reached a few hundred thousand yuan.

He had prepared more than 600,000 units of this product alone, but they had only sold one-sixth of them so far. This was really unsatisfactory.

If news spread that his first live stream was his Waterloo, Brother Lin would lose face.

“Take out the other goods. There’s no need to fight to the death over this one.”

Zhang Xiaoyu nodded and recomposed herself.

“Next, I’ll show everyone that the second product of this live stream is rice from the North-East.”

Zhang Xiaoyu took out a bag of beautifully sealed rice and showed it to the camera.

“I won’t say much about the quality of the rice in the North-East. Moreover, I have a certificate from the local authorities. It’s definitely authentic.”

After saying that, Zhang Xiaoyu took out a bowl of steamed rice and took a bite.

“There’s no other evidence. Everyone can take a look. The color of this rice is definitely different from what you typically buy on the market.”

“Moreover, the most important thing is that the price is not expensive. Ten kilograms for the same price of 29.9. It’s already on sale. There’s not much of it. There are only 500,000 bags. Everyone, quickly place your orders.”

The moment it was placed on the shelves, Zhang Xiaoyu began to introduce as she rambled on for a few minutes. In the end, she only stopped when her mouth was dry.

Lin Yi looked at the data on the computer and realized that only 30,000 bags had been sold after five minutes. This number was still quite far from what he had imagined.

At the same time, Li Lin handed over an A4 paper. The content on it was very simple. It was the sales of the other two platforms.

Their progress was about the same as his. They were also recommending and introducing the second product.

However, Kuaishou had sold more than 800,000 yuan in total. Even Douyin had sold more than 600,000 yuan.

On the other hand, he only had sold less than 200,000 yuan’s worth.

Even if the unit price of the goods was a little more expensive on his side, the total sales were still inferior to the other party.

The difference was obvious.

Lin Yi rubbed his chin. If this continued, wouldn’t he be finished?

If he couldn’t win like this, he would have to think of another approach.

Even so, Lin Yi wasn’t in a hurry. He gestured for Zhang Xiaoyu to follow her own rhythm.

First, he would put up the few goods that he needed to sell. Then, he could introduce them in detail.

About an hour later, Zhang Xiaoyu added all the goods that were to be sold to the shelves.

Although the sales were not bad, it did not meet their expectations.

Especially the canned yellow peaches that were advertised first. After more than an hour, they had only sold more than 200,000 units. At this rate, they would definitely not be able to sell all of it before midnight.

…

In the Four Seasons Hotel, Kuaishou’s live stream was proceeding in an orderly manner.

“How’s the sales data?” Li Weiqiang sat at the side and asked.

“We’ve already sold more than 1.4 million units. Whether it’s sales volume or revenue, we’re far ahead. On the other hand, Douyu can’t sell anymore. They’ll definitely suffer a crushing defeat. Everything will fall into our hands,” Guo Shibo said.

“That’s what I want to hear.”

Li Weiqiang crossed his legs and lit a cigarette. “Tell the trolls to continue to lead the way and make an issue out of his appearance. Attack this point fiercely.”

Guo Shibo’s expression froze. After thinking for a few seconds, he said,

“Isn’t it too simple to only attack one point? His goods are more expensive than ours. We can make an issue out of this instead.”

Li Weiqiang shook his head with a smile. “If you just look at this point, won’t it be too shallow? What I really want to do is not to destroy his live stream this time, but to make him suffer a crushing defeat and leave this industry.”
