Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 8

Chapter 8
Passing through layers of weeds, Lin Feng followed the perspective to a cave in the ground.

Looking at the dark cave, this should be the cave of the wild boar.

In perspective, all treasure chests are in holes.

The entrance of the cave was not high, and Lin Feng, who was 1.8 meters five, had to bend his body and move slowly inside.

Holding on to the cave wall, he moved down little by little. After walking a few steps, the inner space suddenly opened up.

However, due to the dim vision, Lin Feng could not clearly see the internal situation.

But this is not a problem, the treasure chest in the cave can still be seen by using perspective.

Three Bronze Chests, one Stone Chest, and one Iron Chest.

For the first four, Lin Feng obtained all of them through groping.

Looking at the last iron treasure box, Lin Feng found that it was actually at the bottom of the cave.

In this dark environment, there is actually one hidden in the soil?

The deeper the item is hidden, the better it is to get good things. It seems that this thing can produce good things.

Lin Feng decisively took out the stone shovel and started digging towards the position of the iron box.

The position of the iron box is very shallow, and the sound of metal collision can be heard after digging with two shovels.

Following the sound, Lin Feng groped the ground in the dark, and then the collection information popped up within his field of vision.

[Obtain: Iron Treasure Chest X1]

After obtaining the treasure chest, there were no other valuable items in the cave, so Lin Feng returned to the ground the same way.

Returning to the ground, I found a shady place to sit down and rest. Although the battle with the wild boar just took no effort, it was too exciting.

It made Lin Feng’s heart thump, and the kung fu slowed down this time.

Opening the backpack, Lin Feng counted his supplies.

One box of lunch meat, four bottles of mineral water, two wild boars, one piece of wood, and five stones.

In one day, Lin Feng used up all the supplies.

In addition to supplies, there are five different chests.

Looking at the five boxes, Lin Feng was debating whether to open them or not.

Although the current supplies seem to be few, they are actually quite a lot. He can eat two wild boars for a long time if he eats them slowly.

But now Lin Feng was very short of materials, and he didn’t know how many materials he could get out of these five boxes.

After all, if you open them at the same time, you can get a 1.5 times material bonus. If you can save ten of them and open them again, it will definitely be much more cost-effective than opening one individually.

After struggling for a long time, Lin Feng still decided to put this matter aside, and it would not be too late to open it when there is a need.

After taking out the last box of canned food and filling my stomach, I started a new round of search work.

In addition to the treasure chest on the island, there are also various trees and stones, which are all his collection objects.

Especially trees, which are very lacking for Lin Feng.

Taking out the stone ax, Lin Feng weighed it in his hand and found that the ax was quite handy.

Looking at the coconut trees not far away, he was going to collect some wood first.

One axe, two axes...

Lin Feng chopped down the coconut tree more than 50 times forcefully.

After all, the ax is made of stone. Although it looks quite sharp, compared with the iron ax, it is far from sharp enough.

Rubbing his sore arms, Lin Feng touched the tree trunk and chose to collect it.

At the same time, two new messages popped up in the message prompt bar.

[Obtain: Wood X3]

[Obtain: Palm Leaf X5]

A tree is about five or six meters high, but only three pieces of wood were given. It seems that this collection function will eat up a lot of kickbacks.

However, it doesn’t matter if you can help him split it into finished products.

After chopping down six coconut trees in a row, Lin Feng didn’t stop cutting until the stone ax in his hand cracked.

Looking at the shattered stone ax in his hand, Lin Feng couldn’t laugh or cry, the stone ax he made was too much to use.

But think about it, an ax made of stone can be considered strong if it can cut down six trees.

It’s impossible for Lin Feng to chop down all the trees on the island with a stone ax, right?
He made himself a new stone ax casually, and while waiting, Lin Feng continued to collect some wood branches and weeds from bushes and plants.

Although these things are useless at the moment, they have the mentality of searching for everything. He can’t let go of any materials on the island, even if it’s soil, he has to dig it up and take it away.

……

After collecting in one afternoon, Lin Feng chopped four stone axes and dug up two stone shovels before stopping there.

Although it is tiring, the harvest is worth it.

82 parts of wood, 35 parts of stone, [-] parts of soil, [-] parts of plant fiber, branches and weeds.

Standing by the beach, Lin Feng looked back at the island he had destroyed, and couldn’t help shaking his head.

If he was given a little more time, he could really remove everything on the island, but unfortunately there is no time now.

The Wandering Island has been drifting and moving since it appeared in the morning, but the speed changes very slowly, and it can’t be felt on the island.

But if you compare it from a deserted island, you can clearly feel the change in movement.

Lin Feng took out a piece of wood from his backpack and pushed it to the sea.

At the same time, he went down to the sea and hugged the log, using its buoyancy to keep himself stable on the sea.

Originally, I wanted to build a raft or something, but later found that I didn’t have time to build it, so I had to use wood to make up for it.

Following the waves, Lin Feng struggled for a while to get his feet back on the ground.

After setting foot on his own desert island, Lin Feng put the logs back into his backpack.

Then he wrung out his damp clothes and hung them in the room to dry.

The bonfire in the house had already been extinguished, so Lin Feng filled up the wood and re-lit the fire.

Sitting next to the fire to keep warm from the cold, he opened the chat history and prepared to explain what happened on Wandering Island.

Looking at the happy chat records of everyone on the wandering island, Lin Feng thought for a while and began to write the first chat content.

”Pay attention to Wandering Island. Wandering Island has been floating. It can appear out of thin air overnight. It may float away and sink overnight. It is recommended not to spend the night on the island. Wait until the next day to see the situation before choosing to stay. .”

When Lin Feng sent out his kind reminder, he received all kinds of weird ridicule and abuse.

”I might believe it if you said it would float away, but it will sink if you say it will sink? You can’t swim, and you’re afraid that we’ll have a better life on the new island than you. Are you jealous of us?”

”This island is several times bigger than the old broken island. How could it possibly sink? You are telling lies with your eyes wide open.”

”Have you ever seen an island sink by itself? Even if it sinks, it will sink your island. What does it have to do with ours?”

……

Seeing all kinds of taunts and insults, Lin Feng suddenly had an unknown fire in his heart, and at the same time he did not know when to clenched his fists.

But soon Lin Feng unclenched his fist, sighed and closed the chat interface, no longer reading these comments.

Lin Feng had expected everyone’s reaction, but he still wanted to remind them.

After all, we are all living in the same environment, so we can help a little bit.

As long as there is one person who can listen to it and withdraw from the Wandering Island, it will be a success for him.

As for those who insisted on surviving on the island, Lin Feng couldn’t do anything about it. Anyway, he had reminded him that it was none of his business whether he listened or not.

When the time comes for the island to slowly sink, see how these people will cry.
