Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 3 House Construction Preparation

Chapter 3 House Construction Preparation
Lin Feng, who was hiding under the coconut tree, looked at all kinds of information on the sea, and at the same time, he was thinking about the next arrangement.

Don’t worry too much about eating and drinking for now, but he needs to solve the problem of living on the deserted island.

He could bear it for a day or two on this scorching island, but he couldn’t bear it if he was exposed to the sun for a long time.

Moreover, there is no place to shelter from the wind on the island. When the temperature turns cold at night, coupled with the cold wind blowing overnight, it will definitely be uncomfortable when you wake up the next day.

Lin Feng planned to get himself a sheltered hut or something before nightfall, so that he could have a place on the island where he could rest with peace of mind.

When checking the production list just now, Lin Feng noticed that there were manufacturing items such as foundations and wooden walls.

Maybe you can use these to get yourself a cabin to escape the wind and heat.

At present, there are some resources in hand, so he can give it a try.

Entering the crafting interface, Lin Feng found the item he had seen before.

【Wooden door: wood 12/1】

[Wooden Wall 1X2: Timber 12/2]

【Wooden Ceiling 1X1: Wood 12/1】

【木制地基1X1：木材12/1，石块12/1】

That’s right, it’s these things, and there is a reminder under these production lists.

[Building items need a ’manufacturing tool hammer’ before they can be placed and modified. 】

Looking at the prompts and the materials required for various items, Lin Feng secretly calculated in his heart.

I only have twelve pieces of wood on my body, and if I want to build a decent hut, this material on my body is definitely not enough.

It seemed that he had to go to the trading market to exchange some materials. When he came to the trading market, Lin Feng listed all the trading information of timber.

As the information in the field of vision changes, all the information on timber transactions are listed in front of him.

Lin Feng checked all the way along the arrangement, and found that all the contents were traded for food or water.

The highest trade ratio is six pieces of wood in exchange for one food or water.

Looking at the transaction information, Lin Feng hesitated a little, since he doesn’t have much food and drink in his hands now.

Isn’t it a bit extravagant to exchange materials to build a house?

However, after hesitating for a while, Lin Feng decided to change some ingredients. Although he didn’t eat much, he could still save two days’ worth of food and drink.

Lin Feng took out four portions of bread and a can of luncheon meat in exchange for thirty portions of wood.

With these woods, you can start making materials and build your own log house.

Although it is a bit painful, it is worth the effort for myself to have a better rest environment.

Returning to the production interface, Lin Feng set his sights on the tool hammer and campfire.

Both a hammer and a campfire are necessary for making tools, one is necessary for manufacturing, and the other is necessary for keeping warm at night.

Lin Feng put these two into the production list first, followed by the wooden foundation.

According to Lin Feng’s idea, he planned to build a 3X3 back-shaped foundation, which would require eight pieces of foundation.

Once the number of foundations is determined, the number of subsequent wooden walls and ceilings can also be determined.

11 yuan wooden wall, nine ceilings and a wooden door, these are all the materials for construction.

After throwing all these items into the manufacturing list, all the 42 pieces of wood that Lin Feng had just accumulated were consumed.

Every item has a manufacturing time. Looking at the manufacturing time, it will take more than four hours to complete all of them.

Whether this time is long or not, in the past, it would not be a problem for Lin Feng to take out his mobile phone and scan for eight hours.

But now there is no mobile phone, not even a book, it is really difficult to pass the time alone.

”Gu... gu...”

Before Lin Feng could figure out what to do, his stomach protested.

After rubbing his stomach, Lin Feng remembered that he hadn’t eaten for seven or eight hours even before crossing.

Now, after such a toss, the hunger will be faster. Fortunately, I have enough supplies, so I don’t have to suffer from hunger. Immediately, Lin Feng called out the backpack and took out food and drink from it.

A piece of bread, a can of lunch meat, a bottle of water, that’s all.

Although it looks simple, in this environment, being able to eat these things is already considered a luxury.

While eating lunch, Lin Feng also called up the chat interface to see how other people were doing.

”Hey, good luck, five pieces of coarse bread came out of this box, so you don’t have to worry about eating now!”

”Damn, why did I finally get two boxes, and ended up opening them all for me? Is this stuff useful?”

”Crates? What are you talking about? Why don’t I have a case?”

”Brother in front, I will offer 1000 million, 1000 million for a piece of bread, and I will transfer the money to you immediately after we are rescued!”

……

Seeing everyone’s complaints and showing off, Lin Feng was a little confused. Is it so difficult to salvage the wooden box?
Having clairvoyance isn’t easy...wait?
Only then did Lin Feng notice a problem. It seemed that he was the only one who had this perspective function.

From other people’s discussions, it can be seen that they did not salvage many wooden boxes.

There has never been a person like him who scooped up all the wooden boxes at once, but it is not ruled out that this kind of big guy is silently watching the chat records like him.

Seeing the situation of other people, Lin Feng felt a little lucky at the moment, the sudden perspective helped him a lot.

If he didn’t have clairvoyance, he would probably be thinking about how to get more food like most people now.

If he is unlucky enough to be like the old man before and gets all the materials, he will probably be hungry and think about the appropriate burial option.

Although facing the sea, you can survive by fishing without starving to death, but as modern people, how many people know how to fish and salvage at sea?

Even if you know how to fish, it is very difficult to catch a fish without the help of suitable tools.

Lin Feng simply mourned for the others in his heart for a second, then continued to finish the bread in his hand.

After lunch, Lin Feng put away the plastic bottles and metal cans of luncheon meat.

This kind of industrial product used to be garbage, but it is a treasure on this desert island.

After that, he simply warmed up his lower body and prepared to go to the sea to escape the heat.

The range that the coconut trees can cover is limited, and Lin Feng is already sweating after eating lunch.

If he continued to stay on the island, he would probably drink all the water in his backpack in one afternoon.

However, after Lin Feng went to sea, he didn’t simply soak in the sea to escape the heat, but also planned to learn swimming skills.

Although the dog planer can guarantee that he will not be drowned in the water, it is a bit embarrassing in terms of speed.

When salvaging wooden boxes before, the perspective can intercept wooden boxes in advance.

If there is no such perspective, I am afraid that Lin Feng will go to the sea to chase after him with a dog planer, and he may not even be able to touch the drifting water.

And this salvage luck is also considered good, a few boxes are relatively close, he can calculate the interception options in advance.

But if the wooden boxes are scattered farther next time, then he will really have no choice.

That’s why Lin Feng decided to take advantage of the summer vacation to learn, and to practice swimming when he has free time in the future.
