Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 6 Island Exploration

Chapter 6 Island Exploration
Hearing the thunderstorm outside the house, Lin Feng couldn’t help feeling a little worried.

With the torrential rain of this scale, coupled with the temperature on the island, without the shelter of a wooden house, how many people can survive this night?
Thinking about all kinds of messy things, Lin Feng wasted his time in boredom.

The heavy rain came and went quickly at night, and it stopped completely in less than an hour.

Hearing the heavy rain outside the house stop, only the sound of running water echoed.

Lin Feng got up and checked the wooden wall carefully to make sure there was no water seepage, so he was a little relieved and ready to sleep.

After being tossed all day, Lin Feng soon fell asleep after lying down.

……

Early the next morning, Lin Feng woke up to the sound of the waves.

Listening to the sound of waves in the distance outside the house, Lin Feng was sure that the tide had receded last night.

Take out the tool hammer and remove the wooden board at the original wooden door position.

Lin Feng, who had been suffocating in the house all night, could be considered to be able to breathe fresh air.

Step over the stones and walk out of the wooden house to welcome the morning sun.

Warm sunshine, melodious birdsong, blue sea...

Um?etc?Where did the birdsong come from?
Lin Feng was stunned for a moment, followed the sound of the birds and turned his head to look, and an island several times larger than his deserted island appeared in his field of vision.

There are trees and grass on the opposite island, and the environment is many times better than his deserted island.

The point is that there are small hills on the opposite island! You don’t have to worry about flooding your home due to high tide!
At this moment, Lin Feng had an urge to move.

But the perspective information that suddenly appeared in his field of vision made him calm down instantly.

[Small island: 117 meters away]

[Sinking time: 10 hours, 48 minutes and 07 seconds]

Seeing the decreasing time, Lin Feng smiled wryly.

Sure enough, the island that suddenly appeared was not that simple.

Recalling yesterday’s text prompt, the island in front of us should be the Wandering Island.

According to the hints from the perspective, this wandering island should be provided for them to collect supplies.

And the real life can only be carried out on their deserted island, if you want to live on the wandering island forcibly.

After the island sinks, let those ’nail households’ know what despair is.

Open the chat casually, and found that many people have already started discussing how to develop in Xindao.

It seems that the events encountered by everyone are almost the same, descending on a deserted island together, salvaging wooden boxes at the same time, encountering heavy rain at the same time, and exploring new islands at the same time.

However, Lin Feng was a little entangled in the fact that Wandering Island would sink, and wondered whether he should remind others.

But he also has no evidence that the island will sink, and hastily reminding the meeting may have a negative effect.

It is not a good time to remind directly now, and it is not too late to remind before the island is about to sink.

Leaving aside the chores, Lin Feng looked at Wandering Island, thinking why the perspective didn’t show the information on the island?

This perspective can even show the only coconut tree on his deserted island, so why doesn’t it show such abundant resources on the opposite side?
Shaking his head, Lin Feng couldn’t figure it out either, so he went directly to the island to search.

Even without clairvoyance, he can provide a lot of materials by collecting a lot of resources on the island.

Lin Feng didn’t waste any time and used the extra wood he exchanged last night to make tools.

If you want to search for supplies on the opposite island, you must have tools at hand.

Although the consumables are a bit outrageous, after seeing the waterproof wooden wall last night, Lin Feng is still looking forward to what the tools will be like.

A stone axe, a stone shovel, and a stone spear.

When making the stone spear, Lin Feng was still hesitating whether to make one, because the material was precious after all.

But after thinking about it, I can’t see the situation on the island at present, and I don’t know if there is any danger. It will be too late to do it temporarily, so I simply prepare in advance.

While waiting for the tools to be made, Lin Feng took out the last piece of bread and finished it to replenish his energy.

When everything is ready, start to land on the island.

On the 4-meter-long sea route, Lin Feng drifted on the sea for three to four minutes before landing on the island.

After landing on the island, Lin Feng looked back at the ’Strait’ with lingering fear. The journey almost cost him his life.

Fortunately, now that he can successfully land on the island, Lin Feng secretly swears in his heart that he floated here, and he will float back when he returns...

Of course he would float back on a raft. He didn’t want to experience the pain of drifting in the sea again.

Looking into the island, Lin Feng found that the original sinking countdown message had disappeared.

In its place is the familiar distance perspective of objects.

[Wild boar: 68 meters away]

[Wild boar: 75 meters away]

[Stone treasure chest: 88 meters away]

[Bronze Treasure Chest: 89 meters away]

[Iron treasure chest: 90 meters away]

……

It seems that the supplies on the Wandering Island can only be displayed after landing on the island.

But seeing such a wealth of supplies, Lin Feng’s restless heart couldn’t bear it any longer.

boar!New treasure chest!

These are all good things. If he can kill a wild boar, Lin Feng will not have to worry about his rations for the next period of time.

And the new treasure chest means new items, new resources, he can’t miss these things.

But before searching, Lin Feng had to check the topography of the island first.

You have to prepare a safe place to escape first, after all, wild boars are very aggressive.

Lin Feng doesn’t know how to slide a shovel, so it would be embarrassing if there is no place to run in danger.

He took out the stone spear from his backpack and weighed it in his hand, the weight was not bad.

The stone gun head also looks very sharp, and it seems to have a certain degree of lethality.

Although making items consumes materials, the finished product is indeed pretty good.

After getting ready, Lin Feng first walked around the coastline and searched for things in the outer circle.

The entire island is shaped like a water drop. According to the perspective distance, the longest point of the island is about 200 meters, and the width is at least [-] meters.

From this point of view, the size of this floating island is not small, and the ten-hour exploration time may be a bit tight.

And after perspective detection, most of the key materials on the island are concentrated in the central area.

Even though the area is also a wild boar activity area, it seems that if you want to get good things, you must get rid of these two wild boars first.

After thinking for a while, Lin Feng decided to use the simplest way to solve this problem.

Dig traps.

Right now, the only weapon in his hand is a stone spear. If he wants to fight against two wild boars, Lin Feng feels that his chances of winning are not high.

The best choice now is to sneak attack and dig traps, which is the way with the highest winning rate and safety for him.

Taking out the stone shovel, Lin Feng got into the bushes, found a slightly open place and began to dig a hole on the spot.

Digging a hole is a physical job, and Lin Feng has to keep an eye on the movements of the wild boars during the digging process.

If there was any sign of approach, he would have to stop digging.

Fortunately, all the excavated soil went directly into the backpack, saving him the time of carrying it.

After digging intermittently for more than three hours, Lin Feng dug a hole three meters long and two meters wide until the sun was high above his head.

Seeing that the depth of the pothole was about the same as his height, Lin Feng stopped digging.

After climbing out of the trap, Lin Feng went to find branches and palm leaves, and covered the hole with camouflage.

If you fall into it without knowing it, you will definitely not know the north, south, east, and west.

Only such a big pit provided him with 70 parts of soil, which was far from the 500 parts of soil needed by the farmland.

But now that we know how to obtain the soil, it is only a matter of time before we can accumulate 500 copies.

Then, the next step is to lure the two wild boars into the trap.
