Immortality Through Array Formations

Chapter 2691: Chapter 83: Heaven, Earth, and Man (Part 2)

But as for fighting the Bi Fang Tribe, it should be of no consequence.

It’s just a small skirmish between tribes.

Although this battle is not simple, compared to the true ”great terror” in Heavenly Mechanism Causality, it’s really a small witch encountering a great witch.

At least it’s definitely impossible for me to bear such a ”burden” as fateful evilness again.

Mo Hua felt slightly relieved.

After everything was prepared, the phosphorus fire was lit, the demon bone was burned, and the bones began to crack.

As usual, Mo Hua obliterated all traces of divination, then took out the cracked bones and observed their patterns.

But after looking for a long time, Mo Hua’s brow slightly furrowed.

”Did I fail?”

There was nothing shown on the pattern, meaning he calculated nothing.

How is that possible...

Mo Hua, although not arrogant, had the most basic confidence in his divination skills.

In the past, even when ”tempting fate” to divine great causality, he could more or less glean some clues.

Not like now, where nothing was calculated.

Because the causality of military campaigns is different from other things?

It requires considering the timing, location, and human factors, the internal causes are complex, involving many people’s lives and deaths, there are too many variables... So it’s not so simple to calculate?

Or because there are also Heavenly secret experts within the Bi Fang Tribe, who shielded their side’s causality, preventing the enemy from detecting their situation?

Mo Hua furrowed his brow and thought about it, feeling the second possibility should be impossible.

Heavenly secret experts are not cabbages, not something you have just because you want them.

What’s more, how could an ”expert” capable of shielding his demon bone divination skill be hanging around with someone like Bi Jie?

At least, it would have to be at the level of Bi Jie’s father, the Great Chief of the Bi Fang Tribe.

Then it’s the first possibility?

Military campaigns emphasize timing, location, and human factors, involving the ”heaven, earth, and humans” Three Talents, thus being too complex, very difficult to divine.

Mo Hua furrowed his brow tightly, feeling a bit troubled.

The concept of ”heaven, earth, and humans” Three Talents is also present in formations.

But this orthodox Three Talents Formation is monopolized by the Taoist Court’s lineage, he has no qualification to understand it, hence he knows very little about the related concepts.

If understanding ”heaven, earth, and humans” Three Talents is necessary to divine war, then this ”threshold” is too high.

Mo Hua’s mood was heavy, but he was not too willing to give up.

He is a Formation Master, having learned many complex and difficult formations, therefore he understands well that the deeper something is, the more obscure and hard to understand it becomes.

Difficulty and obscurity also mean brilliance.

Likewise, in this world, the more difficult something is, the more it is worth doing.

The more difficult the knowledge, the more it is worth researching.

Once the difficulty is overcome, the harvest is greater; the understanding deeper.

Difficulty is actually a kind of tempering, a step toward self-improvement.

”Heaven, earth, humans...”

Mo Hua calmed his mind, slowly contemplating, thinking:

”If these Three Talents are put together, and I can’t calculate them, shall I calculate them individually? Calculate the timing, location, human factors separately, then synthesize and recalculate?”

If the overall causality is too large to calculate, then break it down, calculate piece by piece.

Having an idea, Mo Hua immediately began trying.

He calculated the ”timing,” ”geography,” and the Bi Fang Tribe’s ”hearts” within the Shugu Skill Department individually.

But Mo Hua did not expect, even when calculated separately, this divination involving heaven and earth still required too vast an amount of Divine Sense.

In the sky, there are the sun, moon, stars, clouds, mist, ice, snow, wind, rain, thunder. Day and night alternate, the four seasons vary, changes differ.

On the ground, there are mountains, rivers, grass, wood, soil, stones, tigers, leopards, fish, insects. Varieties propagate, life and death cycle, earth phenomena are intricate.

And human hearts have countless variations, from poverty to wealth, greed, anger, ignorance, infatuation, joy, sorrow, thousands are different.

Despite Mo Hua having completely narrowed the scope.

Only calculating this valley ahead, the next three days, the source of the Bi Fang Tribe’s murderous intent.

But these three types of causality, mixed together, still made Mo Hua’s mind dizzy, with a feeling of mental exhaustion.

He also calculated some things.

Including timing: whether there will be wind, whether it will rain in the next few days.

Including geography: the shape of the mountains, how the grass, wood, birds, and beasts propagate and thrive.

Including human hearts: inside many people of the Bi Fang Tribe, what they are thinking, including the flow of malice and the venting of hostility and such.

But these combined do not form any clear ”causality.”

Mo Hua even suspected that the things he calculated are ”false.”

These are fantasies in his mind about such things, subjective judgments, completely excluding the operation of objective causality.

It’s what he ”takes for granted.”

Mo Hua looked at the dense diagrams he evolved on paper regarding various changes in timing, geography, and human hearts, feeling somewhat helpless, even a bit bewildered.

These things cost him two whole days.

Over these two days of calculations, he indeed glimpsed a bit of the profundity and vastness of ”heaven, earth, humans” Three Talents.

But the final result was completely useless.

The concept of heaven, earth, and humans was absolutely not something he could currently comprehend and apply.

Without several years, ten years, or even decades of study and contemplation, it’s impossible for him to, by himself, comprehend the configuration of ”heaven, earth, humans” Three Talents.

The distance from practical application will only be greater.

Mo Hua furrowed his brow.

The Taoist Court’s monopolized lineage indeed has an unimaginably profound depth.

Mo Hua was not even sure whether what he comprehended, this ”taking for granted” thing, was truly the ”Dao” of heaven, earth, humans Three Talents.
