Immortality Through Array Formations

Chapter 2673: Chapter 77: One Sword_2

This barbarian soldier’s face was full of ferocity, his mouth still tearing at the flesh of his comrades, seemingly plunged into an extreme state of ”hunger.”

”Hunger...”

Mo Hua’s expression slightly shifted, ”Is this related to the famine in the Barbaric Wilderness?”

He walked further ahead and discovered over twenty barbarian soldiers from the Bi Fang Tribe, without exception, all died along the road in extreme ”hunger,” their mouths full of flesh in a gruesome mess.

And the flesh on their own bodies was also gnawed into a thousand holes.

This indeed seemed like the work of an Evil God.

Suddenly, the sound of dry heaving came from behind.

Mo Hua turned around and found Iron Skill Bone covering his mouth, looking utterly disgusted and about to vomit.

Mo Hua was somewhat speechless, ”Haven’t you eaten it too? Why act like a saint?”

In fact, this ”custom” was originally spread by his Shugubu.

Iron Skill Bone didn’t know how to respond.

When he ate it himself, he fell into a kind of frenzy, only feeling the flesh was delicious with no real sensation; but when watching others eat, for some reason, he felt very nauseated and wanted to vomit.

Mo Hua then asked Iron Skill Bone, ”Have you been to this place?”

Iron Skill Bone murmured, ”I... haven’t...”

But Mo Hua didn’t need his answer at all, he could basically judge what he wanted to know just by looking into his eyes and the fluctuations of his Divine Sense.

Mo Hua nodded, ”You’ve been here.”

Iron Skill Bone’s heart faintly chilled.

Mo Hua didn’t make things difficult for him either and said, ”Lead the way ahead.”

Iron Skill Bone hesitated for a moment, glanced at Mo Hua slightly sinisterly.

Evidently, there were no other guards from the Danque Tribe nearby, Mo Hua was only at Foundation Establishment, yet Iron Skill Bone, a grand Golden Core, could not muster even a slight rebellious thought.

It was as if Mo Hua was the Golden Core, and he himself was only Foundation Establishment.

”Yes...”

Iron Skill Bone then obediently led the way at the front.

However, the structure of the Stone Palace was simple, the road not complex, nothing really needed guiding.

In just 30 minutes, Iron Skill Bone led Mo Hua into the main hall, beneath the statue of a White Bone Barbarian God.

Beneath the statue of the Barbarian God was a spacious main hall.

Within the hall were altars and statues of guardian beasts.

At this moment, kneeling before the altar was a man, tall and thin, half his body was jagged white bone, already fallen lifeless.

Judging by his attire and figure, it was Bi Fang Tribe’s other Golden Core Elder Zhuo.

Golden Core Cultivators had stronger Divine Sense, a slightly stronger ability to resist ”Evil Thoughts.”

These two Golden Core Elders held on until the statue of the Barbarian God, only to be completely bewitched by Evil Thoughts, ”hunger” gnawed at their hearts, slaughtering and devouring one another.

Elder Zhuo died before the statue of the Barbarian God.

Elder Cang barely hanging onto life, escaped, reporting to his Young Master, proving his loyalty.

Mo Hua was surveying the surroundings when suddenly a sound of heavy breathing was heard, turning his head, he discovered Iron Skill Bone feeling dazed, eyes slightly red, drool trickling down, as if hunger spread in his heart, his reason teetering on the brink of loss.

”Iron Skill Bone!” Mo Hua’s expression was indifferent, giving a light shout.

This clear shout was not loud, yet it sounded like a thunderclap by Iron Skill Bone’s ear.

Iron Skill Bone’s spirit was startled, immediately gaining some clarity, that inexplicable hunger feeling in his heart also faded significantly.

The people of the Bi Fang Tribe could barely be considered ”normal,” unpolluted by Evil Thoughts, thus like blank paper, their resistance very low.

Generally, as soon as they entered the hall, they were possessed. Once possessed, they started cannibalizing each other.

And Iron Skill Bone himself was already ”tainted.”

Conversely, his resistance against Evil Thoughts was somewhat higher.

But even if it was higher, it was limited, expectedly not long before he would succumb to madness, thinking of ’eating’ people just like Elder Cang and Elder Zhuo.

So, time was of the essence.

Mo Hua instructed Iron Skill Bone, ”Start the bonfire, perform the ritual, sacrifice to the Barbarian God, and summon its descent.”

Iron Skill Bone said, ”I can’t.”

Mo Hua looked at him with eyes sharp as a treasure sword.

Iron Skill Bone lowered his head, starting to take out Fire Stones, setting up dried wood, to light the bonfire, his movements exceedingly skilled.

Once the bonfire was lit, the flames roared to life.

Iron Skill Bone glanced back at Mo Hua, ”Do I need to eat ’something’?”

After saying this, he subconsciously swallowed. According to the ritual procedure, this was the time he should eat ’people.’

Mo Hua shook his head, ”No need, the people of the Bi Fang Tribe have already eaten for you.”

The lingering scent of blood was still in the air.

The insane impulses of cannibalism by the two Golden Core and over twenty Foundation Establishments of the Bi Fang Tribe hadn’t fully dissipated.

Iron Skill Bone was a bit disappointed.

Mo Hua said, ”You can dance now.”

”Dance?” Iron Skill Bone was dumbfounded, glancing at his limbs just mended after being severed, ”Now? Me? Dance?”

Mo Hua nodded, ”You dance, just dance the way you did that night, during the ceremony in the grove.”

Iron Skill Bone was very troubled, ”I... my arms and legs were broken, dancing poorly...”

Mo Hua’s face remained cold, ”Find a way yourself.”

Iron Skill Bone felt this malicious pretty boy was indeed remarkably difficult.

Forcing someone with broken arms and legs to dance, what was he thinking?

”Not dancing is an option, but don’t blame me if I didn’t warn you, in this hall, Evil Thoughts run deep, if you stay too long, you’ll die sooner or later. More so, for every minute you dance, the probability of dying increases...” Mo Hua kindly reminded.

Iron Skill Bone held a secret grudge in his heart, having no choice but to say, ”I’ll dance!”

He began using a crutch, following Shugubu customs, dancing the ”flatter” dance for the Barbarian God.

But his crutch was awkward, his arms were broken, his legs still crippled, the atmosphere was wrong, so naturally, danced crookedly.

Mo Hua watched silently from the side.

Bonfire, eating people, dancing.

All three elements were gathered, theoretically the sacrifice should succeed as well.
