Chapter 2683: Chapter 80: Tribe Structure and Faith_3

This force is not small.

Of course, the tribe led by Iron Skill Bone, after all, is a wandering tribe, roaming everywhere, and from the perspectives of territory, foundation, manpower, and military strength, it cannot compare to a formal Shugu subsidiary tribe.

The one with real subsidiary tribe strength is, instead, the Shugu Skill Department that was captured today.

However, the storehouse in this Shugu Skill Department is rather exceptional.

Not to mention anything else, just the vast quantity of Barbarian Armor and Monster Beasts materials capable of being used as military equipment made Mo Hua feel that this should not be the normal ”subsidiary tribe” kind of accumulation and storage.

Of course, military equipment is not something Mo Hua is considering at the moment.

Mo Hua continued to ask Iron Skill Bone, ”How many Barbarian Gods does your Shugu Tribe worship?”

Iron Skill Bone resolutely said, ”There is only one Barbarian God, sir.”

Mo Hua frowned slightly.

Only one, then what will he ”consume”?

He asked again, ”Is there only one... or does your wandering tribe only worship this one?”

Iron Skill Bone seemed a bit confused.

He is a superstitious person.

Superstitious people do not delve deeply into the God of their superstition.

The more superstitious a person is, the more they believe deeply in their superstition, and the less likely they are to know what exactly they are superstitious about.

Mo Hua, feeling helpless, asked again, ”In the Shugu Tribe, do other principal tribes, subsidiary tribes, and minor tribes, as well as some wandering tribes, also worship the Barbarian God you mentioned?”

Iron Skill Bone nodded, ”Naturally.”

Mo Hua asked, ”When you worship the Barbarian God, do you have a unified ritual?”

Iron Skill Bone frowned and thought for a moment, then shook his head, ”Not really, each tribe has its variations...”

Mo Hua asked again, ”What about the idols? Are they the same?”

Iron Skill Bone shook his head, ”Not the same.”

Mo Hua was a bit speechless, ”The Idols are not even the same, yet you feel like you’re worshiping the same Barbarian God?”

On this point, Iron Skill Bone had his own understanding.

He solemnly replied, ”Barbarian God is the supreme deity, mere mortals cannot catch a glimpse of the true face of Barbarian God.”

”Since no one can see the true form of Barbarian God, naturally no one knows what Barbarian God looks like.”

”Thus, the various statues created by people are naturally diverse.”

”But this does not affect our devotion to Barbarian God in the slightest.”

”In the end, idols are merely forms. The reason we worship idols is not to worship mud and stone sculptures, but through different ’stone idols’, to respect the one True God.”

”Therefore, although the idols we worship are different, our devotion to Barbarian God is united. The Barbarian God we respect is also the one and only deity...”

Iron Skill Bone wore a face of conviction.

Even Mo Hua, a ”Demigod”, was dumbfounded by Iron Skill Bone’s words.

He did not expect that an ignorant and superstitious person could use his mind to create a logically complete loop.

Clearly worshiping different idols.

Respecting different Barbarian Gods.

They surprisingly felt that they were all worshiping the same singular ”deity”?

But upon thinking deeply, Mo Hua also felt that Iron Skill Bone’s words made sense, even had a taste of... being unassailable.

If it weren’t for Mo Hua truly having witnessed the deities of heaven and earth, befriended them, clashed with Evil Gods, killed gods, and even ”ate” gods, he almost believed it.

Mo Hua wanted to explain to Iron Skill Bone.

The so-called Barbarian Gods are simply not this.

What they worship is not actually a singular thing.

But when the words reached his lips, he didn’t know how to explain.

Maybe these people just want to ”believe” in some existence, and as for what they believe in, something they can’t see, perhaps they may not even care.

This matter at least clarified one thing for Mo Hua.

That is, the inner faith of the Shugu Tribe seemingly unified, but in reality ”split”, even completely unrelated.

What is valued is, you believe in yours, I believe in mine.

Clearly, each believes in their own, but everyone thinks they are believing in the same one.

Mo Hua felt it somewhat absurd, but at the same time, very reasonable.

This implies that within the Shugu Tribe, multiple ”Barbarian Gods” are being worshiped.

These Barbarian Gods receive tributes from believers, consuming the faith of believers.

Now that the tribe members start ”consuming” humans, faith becomes distorted, naturally causing the Barbarian Gods to corrupt.

The Shugu Tribe’s Skill Department, the White Bone Barbarian God here fell, which means other Barbarian Gods of the Shugu Tribe might not be spared.

Mo Hua’s eyes glimmered.

A third-grade half-corrupted Barbarian God is definitely a ”great enhancement”.

The difficulty of hunting is not high, and the danger is low.

From various perspectives, it is the most optimal Divine Way ”food”.

If he consumes another one, perhaps he might immediately break through the bottleneck and enter the twenty-three patterns Divine Thought Realm.

If he could consume a few more, with good luck, he might directly reach twenty-four patterns.

If luck truly is good, consuming to twenty-four patterns almost implies reaching directly, projecting forward to Golden Core.

Thinking of this, a hint of excitement welled within Mo Hua.

Of course, Shugu Tribe is a major tribe, the Barbarian Gods worshiped could not truly let Mo Hua consume openly.

Mo Hua couldn’t help but contemplate.

”Then... let Dan Zhu lead the charge to campaign against Shugu Tribe?”

Create a powerful army of Barbarian Soldiers, break through all Shugu tribes, invade the Divine Temple, and consume Barbarian Gods?

If sneaking doesn’t work, go directly with ”force”?

Anyway, the Shugu Tribe is nearly ”rotten”.

Their Barbarian Gods have already started to corrupt secretly; if not ”consumed” soon, the entire tribe will be led into evil, falling into irretrievable disaster.

In Mo Hua’s heart, a plan gradually formed.

After his thoughts concluded and confirming in heart, he spoke no more but said to Iron Skill Bone:

”Alright, you may go down.”

”Yes, Shaman Master.” Iron Skill Bone saluted Mo Hua, and then limped away.

Mo Hua watched Iron Skill Bone’s figure, suddenly feeling an unsettling feeling.

”This Iron Skill Bone is too good at ’surviving’, how could he survive unharmed as wandering tribe leader of Iron Skill Bone?”

”But Iron Skill Bone’s life was my call to preserve it. Why do I feel something’s wrong?”

Mo Hua frowned, unable to figure it out.

”What am I suspicious of...”

Mo Hua shook his head.

Then he began to arrange plans in his heart, planning to advance step by step to campaign against Shugu Tribe.

Let Dan Zhu develop forces, while he further consumes Barbarian Gods, enhancing Divine Thought, thereby gradually moving towards the Golden Core.

But before Mo Hua could finalize the strategy to attack Shugu Tribe.

Attack instead arrived on him first.

Night fell, at 22 p.m.

Suddenly voices clamored outside the Stone Palace, blood scent pervaded.

Barbarian Soldiers carried a few corpses inside, the bodies drenched in blood, their chests cleaved open by large knives, and blue-black Strength surged in the wounds.

Bi Fang Tribe launched a night raid, killing five elite Barbarian Soldiers of Danque Tribe.

Besides this, the count of severely, lightly injured is countless.
