Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 197 The Fall of a Pillar of the Nation!Desert Alliance.

When he heard that Daishin had started rounding up young people on the streets to serve as militia, General Muller fell into deep thought.

He speculated that the Daishin commander must have learned of their plans, which was why they were frantically expanding their army in an attempt to avoid being attacked from both sides in the end.

”But how can a bunch of raw recruits fight against our regular army?”

General Muller thought to himself, a look of disdain appearing on his face.

At this moment, they received news that Daishin had assembled a large number of troops at the border, appearing ready to go to war with the Desert Alliance at any moment.

General Muller looked at the troop deployments of Daishin marked on the map, his eyes becoming sharp.

He carefully analyzed the situation and felt that the time was right!

”We can make our move!”

General Muller said firmly, then turned to look at Prince Aodebiao.

Prince Aodebiao immediately gave the order: ”Mech Legion, attack!”

With this order given, the entire Desert Alliance camp instantly became busy.

The mech troops, like beasts released from their cages, launched a swift attack and sped toward the Daishin army.

On the Daishin side, upon learning that the Desert Alliance Mech Legion had deployed, they also quickly launched a counterattack.

Facing the Desert Alliance’s mechs, the ground troops appeared completely powerless. They had almost no chance to fight back and could only continuously fire guns and cannons into the sky, creating a barrage in an attempt to stop the enemy’s advance.

Daishin’s main strength was still its Air Force and anti-aircraft units.

However, in previous conflicts, Daishin’s fighter jets had suffered heavy losses, with only a few dozen left. This amount of strength was simply insufficient to contend with the Desert Alliance’s powerful mechs.

Boom, boom, boom— Rat-tat-tat— Bang, bang, bang—

Daishin’s various weapons spat out bullets like tongues of fire!

Yet they could not stop the Desert Alliance from continuing its advance!

Their mechs easily destroyed more than half of Daishin’s fighter jets!

While engaging these fighter jets, the mechs were also dodging attacks from anti-aircraft missiles.

With the help of intelligent AI, the mechs appeared to dodge these missiles with ease.

The person in charge of the anti-aircraft unit was burning with anxiety. He stared intently at the screen, muttering continuously:

”Just missed!”

”Missed again!”

”Still missed!”

Every time it looked like their anti-aircraft missiles were about to hit the enemy’s mechs, the opponent always managed to dodge them.

In his anger, the person in charge immediately ordered: ”Concentrate all missiles and fire at one mech for me!”

Thus, with the remaining fighter jets providing a distraction, nearly a thousand of Daishin’s anti-aircraft missiles aimed at a single mech.

In an instant, these anti-aircraft missiles turned into a dense barrage and blasted toward the target.

And the pilot of this mech was none other than Prince Aodefa.

Facing the barrage of missiles raining down upon him, Prince Aodefa remained calm in the face of danger.

Inside the cockpit, his eyes were focused and calm. His hands skillfully operated the mech, performing various maneuvers in the air that were not flashy but were extremely practical, dodging almost all the missiles.

However, in the heat of the intense battle, a momentary lapse caused one missile to strike its body squarely.

Suddenly, a burst of fire bloomed in the air, like an opening rose.

”Yes!”

The person in charge of the anti-aircraft unit clenched his fists in excitement and shouted: ”Success! It was a direct hit!”

He was exceptionally excited. In his view, if they could successfully hit one mech, they would have the chance to hit a second, a third.

But at this moment, a subordinate reported: ”The enemy mech’s signal has not disappeared from the radar!”

The smile on the person in charge’s face instantly froze. He slowly turned his head to look at the sky. As the light from the explosion dissipated, Prince Aodefa, who had been hit, stood in the air completely unharmed.

He brushed the gunpowder off his body, completely fine.

Seeing this, the person in charge was completely stunned and stammered: ”It took a missile squarely and is completely fine?”

”This mech is too exaggerated!”

”This is just too sci-fi!”

Is he really Iron Man????

However, the person in charge’s decision to order all missiles to concentrate their attack on Prince Aodefa was too reckless tactically, and the punishment soon followed.

While Prince Aodefa was drawing all the fire, the Mech Legion destroyed all of Daishin’s air power and simultaneously targeted their anti-aircraft positions.

Once these anti-aircraft weapons were approached, they were like sitting ducks, ready to be slaughtered.

And at this moment, the scythe of the reaper was already pressed against their necks.

The mech army split into several parts and charged toward multiple Daishin anti-aircraft positions.

But when they arrived, they were stunned to find that a dragnet had been set up here.

It seemed the enemy had guessed that the mech army would target their anti-aircraft positions, so they had ambushed a large number of troops in advance.

Hundreds of thousands of ground troops were waiting here, attacking the mechs frantically with a hail of bullets.

Now, even with intelligent AI, the mechs could not dodge such dense firepower.

However, the Desert Alliance’s mechs had super-strong defensive capabilities and were not afraid of the enemy’s bullet attacks at all.

This terrified the Daishin troops. They watched helplessly as bullets struck the mechs without causing any substantial damage.

And what terrified them even more was yet to come. The Alliance soldiers, realizing the mechs were exceptionally durable, began a massacre among the crowd.

They were like gods of war descending, mowing down wave after wave of Daishin soldiers.

Thus, while it appeared that the Daishin troops had surrounded them, it looked more like they had surrounded hundreds of thousands of Daishin soldiers.

Some mechs even pushed through everything, breaking through one Daishin position after another, scaring the commanders into fleeing.

When the soldiers saw their officers running away, they followed suit, and the number of people fleeing grew larger and larger.

And so, the following scene unfolded!

Dozens of mechs chasing hundreds of thousands of soldiers!

They were so scared that they dropped their weapons and fled.

The Mech Legion was stunned. Their mechs were stained red with blood, appearing particularly jarring in the sunset’s afterglow.

At the Stanford command post, Stanford learned that his soldiers had been terrified and were fleeing in droves. He slammed the table in anger and roared:

”How can our ground forces not defeat their Air Force? This is illogical!”

His face was filled with anger and unwillingness.

However, when he saw the scene of the Mech Legion mowing down enemies, he completely broke down.

His eyes were filled with fear and despair. The Air Force mechs he had imagined were even more terrifying in their destructive power on the ground, like a scythe harvesting defenseless chicks; they simply could not defeat the opponent.

Stanford was completely numb. Hundreds of thousands of troops being chased and beaten by dozens of mechs—this was simply a disgrace.

He couldn’t help but think: ”If it were the Dragon Country’s army, they would surely have charged at those mechs fearlessly!”

In his mind, while the Dragon Country’s military strength might not be the most powerful, their army was definitely the most courageous!

Of course, this was only in his imagination.

After all, those mechs were produced by the Dragon Country, so how could they fight against their own people!

Even if those mechs really went rogue, the Dragon Country wouldn’t let its own people sacrifice their lives; simply sending out Space Mecha would be enough.

In front of the Space Mecha, these Individual Combat Mecha were also just chicks.

Stanford was still immersed in endless despair when, on the other side, just as he had anticipated, a subordinate brought news:

”Report, General, the eastern border...”

”At the eastern border, the Desert Alliance has organized a large army and invaded our country! The number is nearly five hundred thousand!”

”And our new recruits, in the face of such a massive army, are simply unable to withstand a single blow and have all feared the battle... and fled!”

Upon hearing this news, Stanford actually calmed down!

A calmness born of despair revealed itself in his eyes.

He ordered his subordinates to all leave!

Everyone was puzzled, but they obeyed the order and walked out!

But they hadn’t gone far when, inside the room, a gunshot suddenly rang out.

The subordinates were startled and hurried back into the room, only to find that this man, known as the pillar of Daisheng Country, had died in his seat.

His face still carried a trace of helplessness and despair, as if in the final moment of his life, he had seen the destruction of Daisheng Country.

The entire room was filled with an aura of sorrow and despair; the fate of Daisheng Country seemed to have headed toward a dark abyss along with the death of Stanford...
