Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 186 The real show is about to begin!Hearing Su Chen’s question, Elder Qin and General Zhao Yong decisively called the National Energy Agency.

The head of the National Energy Agency, Wang Changling, was currently overwhelmed, frantically making arrangements to stabilize domestic energy supply and demand.

Just then, an assistant found him: ”Director, you have a call!”

”It’s the Southern Navy Commander, General Zhao Yong!”

By this time, Wang Changling had already answered eight hundred calls!

He had even been summoned to the capital to report on his work.

Hearing that General Zhao Yong was calling, he was somewhat puzzled; he had no connection to General Zhao Yong whatsoever, so why was the other party calling him?

Especially upon learning that the other party was asking how long domestic energy reserves could last, the head of the National Energy Agency broke out in a cold sweat.

He said nervously: ”It can probably last for about half a year!”

”After that, we’ll have to dip into our reserves!”

”Furthermore, it won’t be stable! We won’t be able to achieve full supply! At least one-third of our industries will have to shut down!”

General Zhao Yong was surprised: ”Our country is vast and rich in resources, yet energy can only last for half a year!”

The head of the National Energy Agency replied helplessly: ”How many years has our country actually been developing?”

”We know that relying on foreign countries is bad, but we are also in the middle of a transition!”

”We need blue skies and we need GDP; there’s nothing we can do!”

”If you want to supply the whole country, no problem, let’s burn coal! We have plenty of coal!”

”However, even so, we won’t be able to produce enough coal to supply the entire country in half a year!”

”There will still be a period of fluctuation in between!”

General Zhao Yong understood: ”In other words, to ensure the normal operation of the country, we can only hold out for six months at most!”

The head of the National Energy Agency indicated: ”That is correct!”

General Zhao Yong then hung up the phone.

The head of the National Energy Agency was bewildered by General Zhao Yong’s brisk and decisive style; he had no idea what was going on.

He didn’t have time to think about it, so he immediately called in his subordinates to continue deploying energy measures.

On Su Chen’s side, he also learned that the country could maintain stability for at most half a year.

Elder Qin felt that the crisis was imminent.

If they continued to maintain energy prices, they would inevitably fall into a passive position in this energy war.

But if they raised energy prices, there would be domestic unrest.

General Zhao Yong signaled his secretary to ask Su Chen if he had any solutions.

Su Chen stated firmly: ”Continue to maintain domestic energy prices and stabilize the economy and people’s livelihoods.”

Elder Qin and General Zhao Yong were baffled by Su Chen’s words.

”If that’s the case, in six months at most, domestic energy reserves will be exhausted, and the Dragon Kingdom will definitely run into trouble.”

Elder Qin asked: ”What should we do when that happens?”

Su Chen said confidently: ”Don’t worry!”

”The Eternal Day Project reactor has already completed its ignition test!”

”Soon, the Dragon Kingdom will have near-infinite energy!”

Once these words were spoken, Elder Qin, General Zhao Yong, and even Elder Qin’s secretary were all shocked.

General Zhao Yong even took the phone and asked Su Chen directly: ”You brat, is what you said true?”

Su Chen was stunned for a moment, wondering why General Zhao Yong was with Elder Qin.

But he soon understood, and a smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.

He said: ”General Zhao Yong, what I said is all true!”

”Furthermore, the energy produced by the Eternal Day Project is enough for us to use for hundreds of years.”

”If the country needs it, I can also organize the retrofitting of Nuclear Reactors, at which point energy output can increase by dozens of times!”

”Can’t you trust my word?”

”I believe you, I believe you, I believe you!!!”

”I might not believe anyone else, but I must believe you!”

General Zhao Yong laughed excitedly!

He might not believe others, but he definitely believed in Su Chen!

Had this kid not created enough shocking things?!

Each one, taken individually, was an existence that would shake the past and present.

Now with these words from Su Chen, General Zhao Yong felt at ease.

In his heart, Su Chen was the pillar of the Dragon Kingdom!

As long as he didn’t fall, the nation’s fate would not have any problems.

After hearing Su Chen’s words, Elder Qin also breathed a sigh of relief, the tension on his face gradually dissipated, and he sighed with emotion:

”A false alarm!”

”Su Chen, this kid, can always bring us hope at critical moments!”

”With him here, our country has the confidence.”

Having experienced this sudden energy crisis, and now that the crisis was expected to be resolved, the heavy burden in Elder Qin’s heart finally lifted.

The secretary was a bit bewildered!

He looked at Elder Qin and General Zhao Yong with a face full of confusion; he really couldn’t understand why a lighthearted remark from Su Chen could make these two big shots believe so completely.

He couldn’t help but mutter in his heart:

Could the other party not be bluffing?

Why are these big shots so naive?

Believing everything they are told!

He really couldn’t understand the unreserved trust that Elder Qin and General Zhao Yong had in Su Chen.

Although Su Chen was confident that he could help the country get through this energy crisis, he didn’t intend to be so easily manipulated by the Eagle Nation!

He pondered for a moment and said:

”General Zhao Yong, we absolutely cannot let the Eagle Nation off so easily; I suggest we collect some evidence of the Eagle Nation’s behind-the-scenes meddling and send it to the Desert Nations!”

”These guys are not to be trifled with!!”

”With us providing the equipment, I believe they will definitely give the Eagle Nation some surprises later on!”

Su Chen’s words revealed a hint of cunning and decisiveness.

He knew deeply that in this global energy game, one could not just respond passively; one had to take the initiative and disrupt the Eagle Nation’s layout.

After hearing his words, Elder Qin smiled and said bluntly:

”This kid is up to no good, but I like it!”

”Who says only the Eagle Nation can mess with us, and we can’t fight back?!”

A gleam flashed in Elder Qin’s eyes!

He expressed agreement with Su Chen’s proposal.

On the international stage, one cannot always be on the receiving end of attacks; one must show one’s own capabilities and wisdom at the right time!

Elder Qin took the phone again and immediately said to Su Chen:

”Rest assured, Su Chen, I will arrange for people to do this!”

Elder Qin’s tone was decisive and powerful; he decided to act quickly, collect evidence according to Su Chen’s suggestion, and provide intelligence support to the Desert Nations.

He understood that in this complex energy war, uniting all forces that could be united to jointly counter the Eagle Nation’s conspiracy was of vital importance.

And he believed that if these Desert Nations knew who was playing tricks behind their backs!

They would absolutely be furious!!

That will be enough to make the Eagle Nation suffer!!

Following Elder Qin’s decision, a secret operation quietly unfolded.

Intelligence departments began to fully collect evidence of the Eagle Nation’s meddling in the Desert Nations’ oil well incident, and the diplomatic department also actively communicated with the Desert Nations to lay the foundation for subsequent cooperation.

After hanging up the phone, Su Chen called Commander Liu Chengzhi again!

Asking how many Individual Combat Mecha had been manufactured!

Upon learning that nearly a thousand Individual Combat Mecha had been manufactured, Su Chen smiled triumphantly!

”Eagle Nation, you started this storm!”

”And you will have to bear the consequences!”

”The real show is about to begin!”
